Diplomová práce ,,Truchlení jako interakce: Odraz reality v seriálu After Life '' se v nuje prožívání ztráty blízké osoby ve spole nosti v kontextu um leckého díla, které v tomto p ípad p edstavuje seriál After Life, jenž napsal a režíroval Ricky Gervais. Tato práce vychází z propojení dvou dimenzí, které p edstavují sm r symbolického interakcionismu a teorie ztráty založené na reálných výzkumech ve spole nosti. Cílem této práce je prost ednictvím vybraných scén a obsažených interakcí interpretovat prožívání ztráty hlavní postavy s odkazem na jejich realisti nost, a následn diskutovat možnosti identifikace diváka s protagonistou. S využitím p ístupu symbolického interakcionismu, konkrétn teorie Georga Herberta Meada a jeho díla Mysl, já a spole nost jsou zde interpretovány st žejní interakce, které jsou následn diskutovány v mezích výzkumných otázek v kontextu studií mapujících procesy truchlení ve spole nosti, p evážn se jedná o práci Vereny Kast Truchlení: Fáze a šance psychického procesu.

Memory on borderland. A comparative study of collective memory in the former East Prussiaregion in Poland and the Sudetes in the Czech Republic

Collective memory has recently become one of the most explored topics in the social sciences and has led to the emergence of a separate and independent subdiscipline called memory studies. The thesis investigates the awakening of collective memory in two borderlands of Central Europe: the former Sudetes region in the Czech Republic and the southern part of former East Prussia in Poland. The thesis provides an overview of the current theories about collective memory with a focus on the interactional and visual character of the studied phenomenon. In line with this, the thesis presents, discusses, and elaborates on research conducted in the two borderlands in 2016 and 2017. The aim of the research was to study the role and form of collective memory (shared remembrance) in ethnic, cultural, and historical borderlands. The contributions of the thesis are both methodological and theoretical. Firstly, the discussed research revealed that between particularly family-based communicative memory and official, institution-generated cultural memory, there is ritualised communicative memory, maintained through interactions among members of the borderland community (community of memory). Prezentace těla a tělesnosti na Instagramu v souvislosti s interakcemi uživatelek a uživatelů

Předkládaná diplomová práce si nese za cíl poskytnout náhled na problematiku sociálních sítí, konkrétně stále populárnějšího Instagramu, v souvislosti s vnímáním těla a tělesnosti svých uživatelů a mezilidskými interakcemi. V teoretické části se práce věnuje symbolickému interakcionismu, který zkoumá společnost skrze interakce jedinců a zabývá se jejich následnou interpretací. Další teoretické kapitoly jsou věnovány pojmům sebeprezentace a tělo ze sociologického pohledu a aktuálním výzkumům sebeprezentace a interakcí v prostředí Instagramu. V empirické části této závěrečné práce je zvolen kvalitativní přístup. Vzorek zkoumaných jedinců byl složen pomocí účelového výběru a metody sněhové koule, za dodržení definovaných sociodemografických kritérií. Vzorek tvoří muži i ženy ve věku 20 až 30 let, pobývající v České republice, kteří studují, nebo dostudovali vysokou školu. Data byla získána pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a deníčkových výzkumů. Zvukový záznam, text i fotografie byly analyzovány po vzoru zakotvené teorie.

Válka jako videohra: konstrukce sociokulturní jinakosti v blízkovýchodním konfliktu

Tématem diplomové práce je výzkum konstrukce blízkovýchodního konfliktu, jeho aktérů a problematiky vztahu "Já -- Druzí" v digitálních hrách. Tento blízkovýchodní konflikt je možné nahlížet jako konstruovaný, myšlený objekt či reprezentaci s nezaostřenými prostorovými a časovými hranicemi, který nemusí být totožný s "hmotnou realitou", přesto však přispívá k tvorbě identit účastníků této reality a tím ovlivňuje jejich chování a chování vůči nim. Na poli mezinárodních vztahů může mít takto konstruovaná identita zásadní význam.
