The project of Boris Akunin - an example of literary strategy at the turn of XX-XXI centuries

This work deals with the literaturary project "B. Akunin", which was defined by it's creator G. Chkhartishvili as a "quality literature for the mass reader". When they wish to characterise the project, critics emphasize the use of an adventure plot combined with interesting style and intertextual play. We see a tendency to place the project in the "middle level", which in their hierarchy is somewhere between the literature created for the "happy few" and consumer fiction. However convergence of mass and elite culture is too general a trend in postmodernist literary strategy to be sufficiently characteristic of a concrete author. Our research covers all the texts published to the present day under the names of both G. Chkhartishvili and B. Akunin. It was the part of the extratextual strategy of the author to construct an image of himself as a writer of serious, almost scientific prose, who began to write detective stories for his own and his readers' enjoyment. The author generally uses mass clichés whenever he describes his heroes and action scenes in the story. He uses a great many simple references to the other literaturary works in his texts which should be understandable by every reader. At the same time we find other, more complicated references requiring knowledge of a wider literary "encyclopedia"....

Mythical paradigms of the avant-garde and its time

Tato studie se snaii ukazat, jak zmeny mytologie, v Losevove pojeti, ovlivnily umeni, literaturu a pffstup k basnickemujazyku. Studie prezentuje avantgardnf hnutf ve vsech jeho heterogennfch formach jako umenf casu krizf, ktere se objevily v evropske kulture a prinesly velke zmeny do lidskeho vedomi. Popisem umeleckeho postoje k prostoru a casu uvadfme pffklady, jak toto nove vedomf zachazelo s prostorovymi a casovymi vztahy. Tato studie se take zabyva obecnymi myty, ktere jsou ukazovany na pffkladech avantgardnich del. Vybrane myty by mely ukazat touhu avantgardnfch hnutf prestavet, rekonstruovat a pochopit podstatu jazyka umenf a poezie. A vantgardni umenf a literaturu nemuzeme pochopit bez znalosti dobovych souvislostf. Tato hnutf nicmene obsahujf ve sve podstate neco, co je charakteristicke pro myticke myslenf jako takove - periodicky, instinktivnf mivrat k zakladnf a puvodnf cistote se snahou 0 obnovenf vyznamu vyvoje a procesu tvorby. Tento fenomen analyzujeme prostrednictvfm my tu, ktere jsou vsudyprftomne v evropskych a dalSfch kulturach a objevujf se take v avantgardnfch dflech.

Realita a mediální obraz v kontextu sovětské mýtotvorby (Příběh Jurije Aleksejeviče Gagarina)

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou podmínek a motivů vzniku hrdinského kultu Jurije Alexejeviče Gagarina a specifik jeho hrdinství, jenž znamená zcela novou kategorii v typologii hrdinů Sovětského svazu. Na základě rozboru jeho mediálního obrazu v dobových periodikách, na fotografiích a v literatuře od 60. let až po současnost (vždy na materiálech, které byly vydány u příležitosti jeho výročí; tj. z roku 1961,1971,1981,1991,2001 a 2007) sleduji proměny jeho kultu a dospívám k zobecňujícím závěrům, které jsou pro daná období charakteristické. Slovo obraz je pro mou práci velmi podstatné, jelikož se v práci zaměřuji právě na rozbor veřejného obrazu jeho osobnosti a nikoliv na jeho "skutečný" životní příběh. Ten je pod letitými vrstvami interpretovaných skutečností a legend skryt a my se o něm můžeme nanejvýš dohadovat na základě nejrůznějších svědectví, výpovědí a vzpomínek. Jeho veřejně prezentovaný (mediální) obraz je tím jediným nezpochybnitelným pramenem, se kterým můžeme s jistotou pracovat.

Vývoj tvorby Timura Kibirova: básník mezi tradicí a postmodernismem

Timur Kibirov je významný současný ruský básník, jehož dílo přitahuje pozornost mnoha badatelů a kritiků. Výrazný podíl na tom má skutečnost, že jeho tvorba stojí na pomezí tradiční poetiky a postmodernismu. Cílem naší práce bude popsat vývoj poetiky Timura Kibirova od počátků v 80. letech po nejnovější díla. Rozsah diplomové práce by nám neumožnil vyčerpat bezezbytku toto téma, proto se soustředíme právě na vztah tradičních a postmodernistických prvků v průběhu vývoje jeho tvorby. Uvědomujíce si problematičnost těchto pojmů, jsme přesto přesvědčeni o významnosti této ambivalence pro tvorbu Timura Kibirova.
