Determination of Dependencies for Evaluation of Stiffness Measurements of Rubber Bearings
Beseda, Vojtěch ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with analysis of rigidity of rubber joint measurements. Characteristic, usage and behaviour of a rubber is described in the first part of the work. The following chapter describes problems and analyse production technology of the given component. The work continues by a preparation of several tests established based on information provided in the first chapter and from requirements of company. At the end, correlations and recommendations for appropriate measurement are concluded based on acquired data. The thesis is closed by a technological and economical evaluation which presents required cost for preparation, realization and analysis of tests.
Measurement of torsion bars and stabilizers
Bláha, David ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the measurement of the anti-roll bar characteristics. The target of this thesis is to design a device for measuring of torsional stiffness of the automobile stabilizer bars, design a measuring sequence for detection values subsequently used to calculate the stiffness, and calculate the total measuring error. The measuring device is designed for the needs of the Institute of Automotive Engineering of FME BUT.
Tubular Skid Holder of Skoda Fabia Super 2000 Rally Car
Ondruch, Marek ; Žlebek, Jindřich (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis “Tubular Skid Holder of Skoda Fabia Super 2000 Rally Car” is aimed to engineering design of tubular skid holder of rally car Skoda Fabia Super 2000. There is used FEM software for analysis s evaluation of current variant and following variants of engineering design. The most relevant final variant design, which is consistent with asked stiffness and reduction of weight, was chosen based on findings.
Chassis for Race Car Category E2
Šikuta, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This work deals with the design of chassis for race car category E2 made from aluminium honeycomb sandwich, design of roll cage and conception of engine mount. In the text are FEM analysis, which are focused on torsional rigidity of chassis and strength properties of roll cage.
Vehicle Multibody Model - Ride Comfort Evaluation
Friedl, Michal ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis is concerned of ride comfort. It uses MBS simulation software MSC Adams, especially its Car module. It contains simulations of ride over the road with obstacles that represent the everyday conditions in real traffic. The main area of focus is to find acceleration data that are present on the driver’s seat and co-driver’s seat in relation on specific suspension settings which affect the ride comfort.
Formula Student Steering System Design
Pospíšil, Jaromír ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the steering system parts, the most common used parts and rates their advantages and disadvantages. These findings are then transferred into the Formula Student steering system design. The thesis also presents procedures leading to determine load of steering system, which is taken into account in steering system design. The final version of steering system is analyzed of stiffness.
Design of vehicle suspension stabilizer
Krasula, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on a design of the formula student’s anti-roll bar. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the introduction of the anti-roll bar function and the explanation of its effect on a vehicle including the analysis of various constructions. Second part deals with the Formula Student competition. There is the analysis of the formula Ford’s anti-roll bar as a starting point for our own design. In the section which deals with the anti-roll bar design several alternatives are designed, the stress analysis of components are made and multi body system models are developed for final solutions. These models serve for further analyses of driving characteristics of the vehicle.
Topological-geometric design and stress-strain analysis of the railroad wheel disc shape for different operating conditions on the grounds of LEFM
Brabenec, Ladislav ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Navrátil, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the behaviour of a cracked rail wheel. The aim was to perform the strain analysis of intact wheel as well as the fracture analysis of the primary direct cracked wheel. Solution includes an analysis of operating conditions, assessment of the substantiality of articular components of load, stiffness of the wheel, a comprehensive analysis of fracture of the selected railway wheel profile and optimization of the wheel shape depending on the matching fracture properties.
Solution of Gear Drive for Camshaft
Barvík, Rostislav ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
For dimensions of crankshaft drive Zetor engine, which is solve by a helical gear drive will be created a dynamic model in MBS (multi body system) and perform analyses. The same way will be created a dynamic model for a spur gear system. In conclusion will be confrontation both of these drive solutions.
Homogeneous Bonnet - Behavior at Head Impactor Impacts
Kadrmas, Lukáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the subject of crash tests Euro NCAP, concretely child-head impact test to the car bonnet. Object of thesis is make homogeneous car bonnet, where will remove stiffness places and also the bonnet global stiffness won´t be worst. The bonnet must carry out limits for pedestrian protection.
