The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders.

The theses titled "The awareness of students of primary and secondary schools on the issue of eating disorders"is divided into two main parts - the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of individual disorders, epidemiology and the factors with influence on the emergence of disorders. Next the symptoms and effects of eating disorders in children and adolescents are described as is the treatment and the field of prevention. The practical part is then focused on the research of awareness of students of the problematics of eating disorders, with evaluation of the questionnaire survey. Besides the level of awareness of students, the subject of the research were the most common sources of information on the matter and the influence of the location of schools in the Czech Republic on the awareness. The results of the practical part showed that the grammar school students have highest level of awareness and are followed by the secondary vocational school students and the primary school students in Prague. The worst informed group consisted of the primary school students in the Central Bohemian Region. This diploma thesis The issue of inclusion in practice at a selected secondary vocational school and primary school in the district of Mělník deals issues of inclusion in elementary, lower secondary and vocational education of a student with specific educational needs. It allows zooming in the issue of the inclusion in practise especially from the point of the key pedagogical staff being involved in education of an included student. For a presentation of the development of her education a case study has been set. Defining a role of a teacher's assistant during the process of education. Comparing the running of inclusion of a student during lower secondary with vocational education. Issues of a student during practical training at the work place. Methods of a structured interview with key pedagogical staff were used in this theses with afterwards summary and interpretation of the results. The aim of this thesis is to conduct a survey of the issue of inclusion in practise, define same features and differences in the approach and in possibilities of an inclusion. Chemistry experiments' potential to develop vocational students' scientific literacy: An analysis of selected materials

This thesis is focused on analysing chemical experiments and their potential to help increase science literacy among vocational school students. Currently, greater emphasis is placed on the development of scientific and critical thinking at higher cognitive levels and science literacy. These skills and abilities can be achieved through tuition based on experimental scientific activities. For this reason, the main goal of this thesis was to review the quantity and method of processing of individual experiments in terms of quality and compliance with the given requirements. Experiments in the field of organic chemistry were taken from available vocational school literature and were analysed and evaluated. These sources were the following textbooks: Chemie pro střední školy, Chemie pro studijní obory SOŠ a SOU nechemického zaměření and the web page Studium chemie and the video database of chemistry experiments. Each experiment was evaluated whether it met the analysed criteria of transparency, connection with practical life, problem solving and material, technical, time and economic simplicity. The topic of my bachelor thesis is bullying on the high schools. Main goal of this thesis is to identify, describe and interpret experience of high school students with real bullying. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The introduction of the theoretical part is focused on problem called risky behavior, which occurs at schools. With respect to bachelor thesis, further theoretical chapters are focused on defining the bullying issues at high schools in wider scope and also on the basis of already realized researches in this area. The goal of practical part will be to find out what kind of experiences students have with bullying at schools. Research will be based on quantitative approach. The questionnaire will be an information gathering tool for this purpose. Respondents will be students of second and third year of the high school. Data analysis will be accomplished by MS office Excel. Research results will be then interpreted and presented in chart and graph.

This bachelor thesis is focused on secondary school students´ gambling. The aim of the thesis is to reveal whether the students of a selected secondary vocational school gamble, in which way and whether they are instructed about risks connected with gambling in the framework of prevention. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The aim of the theoretical part is to characterise a concept of gambling in connection with secondary school students and to point at possible risks related to this pathologic issue. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, a prevention of pathologic gambling is outlined together with its possible solutions in case a student is gambling. The theoretical part is based on an analysis and a following synthesis of information obtained from a study of special sources. The aim of the practical part of the bachelor thesis is to discover whether the students of a selected secondary vocational school gamble, what kind of gambling they practise and in which way. The thesis is also aimed at revealing students´ awareness of gambling. The re-search construct is based on a quantitative approach, the main source of the data is a questionnaire research. The respondents of this research are students of the first-fourth classes of a secondary vocational school. The results of the research are presented in tables and charts in MS Excel programme.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of burnout syndrome among teachers teaching economic subjects at secondary vocational schools. The work aims at analyzing the incidence of burnout syndrome in the target group. For this purpose, the work is decomposed into two parts. In the first part of the thesis there is defined a theoretical platform specifying the stress and the burnout syndrome, as well as the preventive and corrective measures in the mentioned areas. In the second part of the thesis, a survey of burnout at selected secondary vocational schools within the Vysočina Region is carried out. For the purpose of the survey, a standardized Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) is used. The data is then analyzed and evaluated. Recommendations for practice are suggested from the survey output.

This bachelor thesis is focused on adolescent problems from children's homes while studying at secondary vocational schools. The main aim of this thesis is to identify and describe the causes for both personal and educational problems of juveniles, especially in the field of education. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the term adolescent, institutional education, its division and forms of further education and care. In my work I want to outline and focus on life and education of adolescents raised mainly in children's homes the most. It also describes the problems of juveniles and ways of solving their problems, especially in the environment of education. Next, it will be described on whom adolescents trust seeking for help to solve their problematic situations, a fact that concerns not only education. The methodology used in the elaboration of the theoretical part was the study of bibliography sources, studies, creation of statements, their analysis, comparison and subsequent synthesis. Materials were professional publications and magazine articles. In the practical part, the aim of the thesis is to find out the overall relationship of adolescents to school, to point out situations starting with long-term problems and their relationship with education, teachers and classroom. It also focuses on friends, popular or unpopular school subjects, self-esteem, learning motivation and learning space in the orphanage. In my bachelor thesis I used a qualitative methodological approach. The tool for data collection is a semi-structured interview. Subjects of study are adolescents from an unnamed children's home in the South Moravian Region, who study at secondary vocational schools. The information from this research will be processed according to the open coding method.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is cyberbullying at secondary schools. The main goal is to find, to describe and to interpret the level of awareness about cyberbullying and possibilities of its solution regarding students at secondary schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and practical part. The main topic of the first part is a definition of cyberbullying and an explanation of important terms related to it. This part compares the differences and common characteristics of traditional bullying and cyberbullying, whose substance will be to describe specifics, ways and forms of cyberbullying also based on realized by Czech and foreign research of this theme. The main topic of the second part will be to find out the experience of students with this phenomenon and how to resist. Exploratory investigation will be based on quantitative approach using a questionnaire investigation. The students of chosen secondary school in South Moravia will be respondents. Acquired data will be analysed and the results of my investigation will be compiled into graphs and charts.

The bachelor thesis deals with an excursion included in the practical training for an educational subject focused on Social work, and its subsequent application in the training of specialized subjects, and in the students´ career and professional orientation. The goal of the theoretical part is to define the excursion and its inclusion in the education system for professional training. This part of the thesis is aimed at the characteristic of the excursion types, phases, and the requisites necessary to arrange for the excursion. The methods applied in the thesis theoretical part include the studying of expert sources, their analysis, and subsequent synthesis with resulting own opinions and attitudes. The goal of the practical part is to submit plans of three excursions at selected institutions, the activity of which relates to the education subject of “Social work”. The excursion plans are followed by work sheets pointed at fixation of the subject, for understanding the institutions´ mission, and for evaluation. The contribution of the planned excursions has been evaluated by a pedagogue of a secondary vocational school. The in-time evaluation of the excursion plans could allow for their potential usability directly in practical pedagogy. The methods applied at elaboration of the practical part are analyses of the particular institution´s documents and of the education subject “Social work”, a subsequent synthesis, application of the knowledge obtained at the excursion planning, and a structured interview with a pedagogue. Based on the information obtained from the theoretical and practical parts of the bachelor thesis, recommendations for the practical pedagogy have been formulated.

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of using social networks in education of secondary vocational schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out the use of social networks in teaching and learning of secondary vocational schools. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with information and communication technology in education. The core of the theoretical part is described by chapters social networks and social networks in education. The aim of the theoretical part is to get acquainted with the concept of information and communication technologies and social networks, description of the most frequently used social networks and their influence in education. The theoretical part is processed on the basis of current domestic and foreign professional sources, printed and electronic. The aim of the practical part is to find out the use of social networks by secondary school students of secondary vocational schools and to describe the results of a survey based on a quantitative approach in the form of a questionnai-re. Based on the obtained data and the survey results will be written a recom-mendation for pedagogical practice.
