Medzinárodné porovnanie kolektívneho sociálneho kapitálu v obciach krajín s odlišnou úrovňovu ekonomickej vyspelosti

The bachelor thesis is focused on the international comparison of collective social capital between the communities of countries with different levels of economic development. The theoretical section defines the core issues of the bachelor thesis. In the practical section, the methodological conditions of comparative analyses realization and research methods are presented. A part of the thesis is a quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire. The survey was carried out in Braintree, a community of the UK and Piešťany, a community within the Slovak republic, a transitive economy. In conclusion, the work offers suggestions for the improving of the level of social capital in both communities.
Networking of non-profit organizations

This work deals with networking activities and communication of non-profit organizations and their representatives with external subjects. Networking is a strategic tool, which NGOs can use to make contacts and get new opportunities. As well as in the private sector non-profit organizations must deal with many obstacles. Most often it is a lack of resources. Due to lack of funds non-profit organizations cannot afford to employ experts. Therefore we can see that non-profit organizations struggle with a certain amount of unprofessionalism. They lack the strategy and they do not have set organizational processes. Communication with external subjects or networking activities are not an exception. This has been fully compensated with their energy and enthusiasm. Employees of non-profit organizations are not motivated financially but by doing a good thing. The study shows that employees of non-profit organizations are interested in new trends, what networking undoubtedly is.

"Social networks in electronic spaces and their impact on society," analyzes the company with help of modernity. It explores the roles of individuals in civil society, and roles, The state in shaping society and the Internet. The practical part deals with democratic freedoms in society and ways to measure them. The these deals currently with used Internet technology and is dedicated to measuring its freedom. In conclusion, using the regression analysis validated correlation of democratic freedoms and liberties on the Internet.
Geographical research of the peripheral region of Kaplice with a focus on social capital

This diploma thesis deals with a geographical research of the peripheral region of Kaplice with the orientation on social capital. The administrative district of municipality is located in the southern part of South Bohemia in the district of Český Krumlov. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part concentrates on the terms like social capital, periphery and on the basic geographical characteristic of the monitored area. The subsequent practical part deals with the specific research that consists of the analysis of secondary data and survey. All acquired data are processed and presented in the form of tables and graphs with following evaluation and comparison of results with other similar researches.

This thesis deals with the research Volary peripheral region with a focus on social capital. The region is a territory administrative districts of Volary located in southwestern Bohemia in protected area and national park Šumava. This is a community Volary, Lenora, Zbytiny, Stožec, Želnava, Křišťanov and Nová Pec. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical section in each chapter deals with a brief overview of the issue of regionalization of space and social capital as well as basic geographic characteristics of the monitored area. The practical part of the thesis focuses on specific research that has been carried out on the basis of an analysis of secondary data and survey. The obtained data are processed and presented in the form of tables and graphs with subsequent evaluation and comparing the results with similar studies that have been made.
Networking

The thesis focuses on the networking topic. The networking is defined and compared to other terms that are often used as a synonym, e.g. social capital. Three contexts are researched. The first study aims networking online, its specifics, advantages and possible risks. The second part studies selected correlations of networking activities of University of economics alumni. The third study searches out the networking activities and standards of Czech managers in the field of finance. The results are connected with the possible usage in both fields, the one of university education and management too.
Are the government expenditures to Junák constitute costs, or are a certain form of investment?

This thesis deals with efficiency of government expenditures to the non-profit sector. As a subject of probing will be used Czech scouting organization: Junák -- svaz skautů a skautek ČR. This thesis asks whether the government expenditures to Junák constitute costs, or are a certain form of investment. Author use short historical analysis, analysis of incomes and expenditures of Junák, valuation of volunteer work hour and social capital which is related to scouting.
Social capital and development assistance

Objective of the first part is to find suitable definition of capital. For this reason is here made a brief summary of the history of economic thoughts about capital. Then is selected the proper definition according to previously defined requirements and criteria. Second part is based on the formerly founded definition of capital, which then helps to clarify the social capital definition. Moreover are in this following part analyzed main contributions to this topic. The final part focuses on the role of social capital in the development assistance. Here are described not only the results of the Official development assistance, but also some alternative approaches. At the end are proved by measuring and comparison the previously obtained theoretical outcomes. These are made on the case of sub-Saharan Africa countries.
