Making DMT usable as a base design activity
BULINOVÁ, Markéta
The theme of this thesis is ?Making DMT usable as a base design activity?. Its aim is to prepare digital terrain model (3D model) and making the contour plan of the area. The processing work is geodetic electronic tacheometry for location of interest. To measure the location was chosen Vejprnice, Plzen-north. First, therefore, throughout the given territory the reconnaissance of the terrain and the current point field, then the location detail oriented. Maps serve as the cadastral map of DKM. Measurements were made ??using electronic tacheometry. The measurement devices were used Trimble 3605 DR and Trimble R6 GPS. The coordinates of points identified in the S-JTSK and the altitude of BPV. Connection points for localization and JTSK Bpv were determined using GPS-RTK (CZEPOS). Calculations were performed Geus 15.5, graphical part of the document was prepared MicroStation 8.1 and ATLAS DMT. The result of this work is the visualization of 3D model and is the basis for design activities specifically for the construction of houses.

Furthermore, I point out two specific examples of Business Intelligence products, which are built and are aimed for the insurance industry. Specifically, I review InsFocus Business Intelligence product from InsFocus Insurance and SAS Business Intelligence from SAS. These two products are reviewed in terms of architecture, functionality and implementation process. At the end of the thesis, I've created a theoretical analysis for a Business Intelligence implementation in a fictitious insurance company. The benefit of this work is to present a comprehensive look at the advantages of Business Intelligence for insurance companies, at some specific products which relate to BI and insurance, and a look at the way that an analysis for a BI insurance solution is made.

Exploratory spatial data analysis
KRÁLÍK, Jan
The goal is a sophisticated evaluation of the possibility of using exploratory spatial data analysis in the analysis of socio-economic activities in the area. Exploratory spatial data analysis (ESDA) is a collection of methods used to survey spatial data of different nature, which is used in a wide range of graphic or visual methods, and maps. Spatial data is a characteristic that applies to certain locations in space, ie. As already known, where data exist and how they polohu. In practical part describes how to apply demographic data using a computer program Geode. As input into the program GeoDa serves the statistical data (data series), which can be obtained, for example on the website of the Českého statistického úřadu.Tato data must then be adjusted to a desired format and opened in the program GeoDa. Output GeoDa program are different maps (in this case the Czech Republic), where monitoring demographic indicator categorized in several colors and these colors are then placed around the map, according to that which takes the values pursued by the phenomenon in a particular area.
