Car show room in Olomouc
Mudrák, Štěpán ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is structural design of a car showroom building in Olomouc. The layout dimensions are 16 x 37 m, the roof is designed as a 5° slope half span roof with cantilever hanging of 6 m. Roof layout dimensions are therefore 22 x 37 m. The object is designed as a two – storey building with two levels of second floor. Maximum height of the structure is about 9,0 m. The design is based on a study of two materiál variants – timber and steel structure. More suitable variant was chosen and following drawings, structural design report and technical report were processed. Main structural system is designed as a one rigid corner column – girder connection, 6 m axis dimensions. Main structural material is a glued laminated timber, completed with coniferous timber and steel elements. The roofing is supported by rafters which are connected to the main roof truss. Bearing element of floors is a Novatop Element structural systém. The spatial rigidity of structure is ensured by steel stiffeners. Structural analysis was carried out by finite element method in software Scia Engineer 21, where the design of the basic elements for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state was made. Connection design was processed manuály and with software Idea Statica and Hilti Engineering Suite.
AUTOCENTRUM VW GROUP MIKULOV
Šešulková, Jana ; Hudeček, Vladimír (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Kacálek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to design a new car center of the Volswagen group. The project is based on an architectural study, which was prepared within the subject AG033 – Architecture design studio on the topic of Autocentrum VW Group Mikulov in the 2nd year of bachelor's study. The plot is located in the cadastral territory of Mikulov in Moravia, Břeclav district, It is located in the industrial part of the city, the surrounding buildings are made up of industrial buildings, especially storages and productions. There is also a scrap metal purchase and warehouse. The plot is currently registered as an area intended for construction by production. The plot is located on flat terrain. The proposed object responds to the required functions. It is oriented perpendicular to Jiráskova Street, the main entrances are oriented to the main street towards the built-up part of the city. The building is located longitudinally on the plot and corresponds to its shape. It consists of three objects that are interconnected. Individual objects have their own function. The first building is adapted and designed mainly for sales and car show purposes. This is the most dominant building. It is followed by a significantly smaller and partially hidden storage area, which also includes facilities for employees and hygiene loops. In the last, rear part is the service. This is the second dominant part, highlighted by an illuminated expanded metal facade. The main material on the building is concrete, which is in line with the industrial character of the building and its surroundings. The façade is made of Cetris cement-fiber boards, which resemble the structure of white concrete. In the service building, the facade is solved with an openwork facade made of expanded metal, under which there is a smooth lime-cement plaster of white color. Concrete structures are also copied into the interior, especially by the recognized load-bearing elements in the individual parts.
Car showroom
Kováčová, Zuzana ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the Bachelor thesis is a static and structural design of a steel construction of a car showroom in Trnava. I tis a two-bay construction with a mono-pitched roof. As a first, the load was calculated, next the structural version was determinet. Structural analysis was made with Dlubal RFEM software. Main load-bearing elements were designed and checked, including reinforcing members, column anchorage and selected connections. Were made a calculations, drawing documentation and technical report.
Prefabricated construction od car-showroom
Wolf, Jiří ; Švaříčková, Ivana (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
Aim of the final thesis is to create loadbearing prefabricated structure of building, which serve like office building and area for car-showroom, and creating static assessment of main supporting parts. For those parts will make drawing documentation of reinforcement and shapes. Computational 3D model for evaluation of internal forces is realized in Dlubal RFEM 5.07 software. For better check and comparison were create 2D spatial bar models of selected frames.
Autocentrum Brno VW
Kubitová, Markéta ; Rosendorf, Aleš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Sedláková, Markéta (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to create the documentation for building permit and documentation for the construction of the building, which is based on a previously elaborated study under the subject AG33 - Production Structures. This is a project of the carcentre Volkswagen Group in Brno-Zábrdovice. The assigned building site is located on a flat land and is bordered by the streets Cejl, Jana Svobody, blocks of flats and the river Svitava. The carcentre consists of three functional units - a showroom, a spare parts shop and a garage. Within the framework of the bachelor thesis, a showroom was developed. Compared to the garage it is architecturally more interesting because it is used for the exhibition of VW group cars and it should be interesting for passers-by. At the same time there is a warehouse of the spare parts because of the direct contact of the goods with the showroom and the garage. The object is hallway type, two-storey, non-cellar. There are a passenger lift and a car lift for the exhibition of cars on the 2nd floor. The supporting structure is a steel framing, supplemented with reinforcing elements. The skeleton is based on reinforced concrete beads and interlocked piles due to unstable subsoil. The building is covered with a single-layer flat roof, which is carried by steel girder beams. The casing is made up of Kingspan facade panels, fitted with a perforated stainless steel plate. From the south side (Cejl Street), the facade is made up of a Schüco glass facade system.

There are also to be located facilities for employees of the service, workshop, room for a car handover, hand car wash and an utility room. Construction is designed as a reinforced concrete columnar structural system with prefabricated single footings, self-supporting foundation slab and reinforced concrete ceiling slab with integrated girders above first floor of the object SO 01. The roofs of the building are designed as a flat roofs and the support constructions are made of steel. Planned dimensions of autosalon are 41x18 metres. As a cladding of the first object is used the lightweight glass cladding. For masonry walls are used the 250 mm thick ceramic blocks, mineral insulation and ventilated external facade cladding with use of fiber-cement boards. Planned dimensions of car repair shop are 31x28 metres. As a cladding of the second object are used the sandwich panels with foam core made of PIR.
