The influence of alcohol policy on the demand for alcohol

In my bachelor work, i am going to discuss alcohol policy and its influence on the demand for alcohol. This policy is a long-term political issue that has been talked about for many years. It could also be considered as a social problem that has affected our population in many different ways. The policy consists of many activities and restrictions. I would like to focus on a regulation of alcohol by increasing taxes in order to decrease the number of consumers. At the same time, it would earn a lot of money which is also a very significant contribution to the state budget. Consumer tax is an actual issue that members of the European Union are facing. These states are divided into two sectors with a different type of the tax. Mainly, I would like to analyze the group with a high consumer tax and with a low consumer tax in which the Czech Republic belongs. The major goal of this policy is levelling the tax in every country in the European Union in following years I am going to give so much time to this very important topic and discuss the major problems, because it is significant for Czech economy and its progress and development.

The evolution of the Czech capital market and its regulation

The objective of this work is to describe the evolution of the czech capital market. I would like to find basic principles of this evolution, influenced by socialpolitikal evolution in this country. I distinguish parts and structure of czech capital market, its specialities and particular problems connected with its special origin. I describe the evolution of the market of actions and obligations. Other objectives are the desctiptiom of czech market regulation and the evolution of czech law system in this area.

Regulation of tobacco advertising

Our first task will be return to the history of the USA. We will look back at trends in tobacco advertising regulation during the history, we will identify causes of this regulation and reaction of economical subjects at it. We will compare the situation of tobacco advertising and sponsorship in the European Union with regulation in the Czech Republic. Our next step will be discovering consumption trends and complexity of anti-tobacco policy in different countries within the EU. Main purpose of my work is to assess whether the regulation of tobacco advertising reached its goals. We will try to point out some falsehoods about the necessity of this regulation. We will evaluate influence of tobacco advertising on young people. We will do our best to answer the question, whether the bann of tobacco advertising has a direct impact on consumption of tobacco products. We will compare consumption of tobacco products in counties, where tobacco advertising is banned with countries, where tobacco advertising has not been prohibited. The conclusions of international studies, which deal with this topic, will be our main source of information. The economical aspects of tobacco advertising regulation and its real impact on economy will be our next object of observation. At last we will identify other effects of regulation.

The impact of regulations on the alcohol sale

Důvodem pro stanovení regulací jsou patologické jevy, které spotřeba alkoholu či drog způsobuje. Hlavním úkolem mé práce je zjistit, zda regulace mají vliv na snižování spotřeby regulovaných látek. Zda efekty plynoucí z omezování přístupu k daným látkám skutečně převyšují náklady a ztráty, které regulace přináší. Chtěla bych zjistit, jaká míra regulace je efektivní. Budu se snažit najít odpověď na otázku, zda stát a jeho orgány jsou natolik efektivní institucí, aby mohly zastávat takovou dominantní roli, jako v dnešní době zastávají.

Práce pojednává o regulaci a harmonizaci účetnictví. Stručně charakterizuje základní účetní systémy. Zabývá se US GAAP, IAS/IFRS, regulaci v rámci EU a účetním prostředím v České republice. Zmiňuje se i o nejdůležitějších rozdílech mezi českým účetnictvím, US GAAP a IAS/IFRS.

Banking regulation in the Czech Republic

The theory of bank regulation is based on several principles. The prime one percieves bank as specific subject in economy. Bank differs in pattern of its activities, structure of its assets and debts, spectrum of undergone risks, etc. Efficient regulation is achieved by establishing generally binding rules, most often legal rules. These rules define enviroment of banks' business. When evaluating legal settings in the Czech Republic, differences between the settings and theoretical solutions must be involved. Conclutions relevant to the efficiency of bank regulation system may be set on the basis of this comparision.

Vývoj regulace a dohledu nad českým finančním trhem

Koncepce regulace a dohledu ovlivňuje nejen profil účastníků finančního trhu, ale zejména charakter jejich jednání. Variant, jak ji institucionálně uchopit, potom existuje celá řada. Ať už je dané uspořádání jakékoli, musí reflektovat jednak výchozí parametry finančního systému, jednak aktuální tržní dění. V podmínkách České republiky usiluje o zdraví, stabilitu, účinnost, transparentnost a bezpečnost finančního prostředí Česká národní banka, v jejímž rámci byl výkon veškerých regulatorně-dohledových aktivit soustředěn k 1. dubnu 2006.

Regulace reklamy

Bakalářská práce se věnuje regulaci reklamy a jejím možným dopadům v konkrétní oblasti tabákového průmyslu. Regulace však zasahuje do více oblastí, např. zdravotnictví, sport nebo ekonomika. V teoretické části je výčet zákonů, kterými se reguluje reklama, z nichž nejdůležitější normou je zákon na regulaci reklamy. Dalším bodem je etická regulace reklamy, reprezentovaná u nás Radou pro reklamu a jejím etickým kodexem. V teoretické části jsou nastíněny možné dopady regulace tabákové reklamy. Tato část obsahuje i dotazníkový průzkum názorů na reklamu a její regulaci.

Regulace a dohled v oblasti bakovního systému v ČR

Práce se zabývá regulací a dohledem v ČR, jež vykonává Česká národní banka. Je zaměřena na problematiku vstupu jednotlivých ekonomických subjektů na bankovní trh a zároveň se zaměřuje na základní podmínky, které musí všechny bankovní instituce splňovat. Dále jsou zde popsány způsoby dohledu se zaměřením se na dohlídky na místě a na dálku. Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit si představu o této problematice a zároveň zhodnotit, zda bankovní regulace je či není žádoucí pro celkový bankovní systém.
