VideoIVR v automatizovaných zákaznických centrech

This thesis deals with VideoIVR issue. Its main purpose is to provide a holistic view on the service through the description of components and relevant case studies. Content in this work is divided into four chapters. First and third chapter are informal and explain what IVR and VideoIVR is. Second chapter is focused on one of service's administration tools. Fourth chapter breaks down project plan of VideoIVR implementation and benefits that arise from employment of an automated system.
Using Data Envelopment Analysis models to assess efficiency of shop network of a Mobile Network Operator

This master thesis deals with efficiency assessment of shop network of a leading Mobile Network Operator, by which it utilizes an innovative approach called Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The following three areas are in main focus of this thesis: advantages of DEA modelling compared to common approaches to Decision Making Units efficiency assessment and extensive summary of majority of DEA models, which are relevant for solving the given problem; followed by a comprehensive model of efficiency assessment of shop network of a Mobile Network Operator, which is unique to this thesis from both theoretical and practical standpoints; and last but not least a detailed analysis of the shop network including recommendations.
Czech telecommunications market since nineties of twentieth century

Telecommunications are nowadays vital part of every developed economy. Goal of this thesis is to analyze development of telecommunication in Czech Republic since the nineties of twenty century. Special attention is paid to the role of state in this process and effects of its behavior on forming and development of Czech telecommunication market. State behavior is mostly the topic of the first part of thesis. This part of thesis is divided into time period in which the most significant state interventions are analyzed in context with Czech telecommunication market development. Second part of thesis is focused on comparison of telecommunications market development in Western Europe and Czech Republic. Focus is specifically on differences and parallels in telecommunications development and their effect on current state of telecommunications market in specific countries. Last part of thesis analysis future development in telecommunications in Czech Republic and Europe in roughly five years horizon with focus on technology, services and regulation
Collaborative Planning in Modern Supply Chain

This master thesis describes and proves how companies can improve their operational performance and supplier relationships by using modern collaborative and planning practices, specifically the Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) concept. The theoretical part depicts main developments in supply chain planning over time, shows common challenges in the world of supply chain and offers possible solutions in terms of collaborative supply chain planning practices. The practical part analyzes the CPFR process between one of the leading providers of telecommunications services T-Mobile and its major mobile handset supplier Nokia. The concluding part defines gaps between an ideal to-be process of supply chain collaboration and the status quo process. Status quo benefits of current CPFR processes are described as well.
Legal Matters of the Electronic Communications Market

The graduation thesis "Legal Matters of the Electronic Communications Market" maps the complete system of the economic, historic and particularly the legal consequences of the contemporary conception of the regulation of the e-communications market. It is focused primarily on the relationship between the ex ante regulation and the ex post remedy of the market failure, it monitors the development of how the public interest in providing these services has developed with the reference to the universal service, and it provides a detailed analysis of the new European regulatory framework of the e-communications market that has been accepted in November 2009.
A level of services offer of telecommunication operator in EU

This thesis compares offers of telecommunication services among separate sub-companies of one telecommunication operator that resides in EU countries and also with offers of competing companies in the market. For the main comparison the telecommunication services themselves are defined, using technical terms from academic sources, professional literature, legislative and statistical offices; then european market and especially services coverage among inhabitants is analysed. The main part then introduces the selected company and his services in countries' market where it takes part. For this comparison there are also offers of companies competing in the Czech market taken into account. As a supportive source for conclusions of this work a questionnaire research among EU inhabitants was conducted; not only for the purposes of services evaluation but also as a reflection of image perception and market position.
OSS and Provisioning in Telecom practise.

This bachelor thesis deals with Telco specialized software and its specific software focusing on OSS (Operational Support Systems) and ordering. The introductory chapter describes IT background of an average telecommunications provider and offers complex view to the relations with BSS (Business Support System). The thesis also mentions integration of individual parts from provider's IT background to a whole and describes the usual methods to achieve this goal. The second part deals with the issue of standardization of Telco software and its history. It describes the establishment of Telemanagement Forum and its program NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software). Then, OSS functionalities are described by way of an example case study for an important Czech telecommunications corporation. The last part deals with telecommunications market in European Union and basic characteristics of telecommunications providers and their supplier companies. In conclusion, the analyzed problems are summarized and the importance of telecommunications software and telecommunications in general is explained.
Solution for model of a selfcare portal for a telecommunication company

Target of this work is to prove a necessity of a new comunication channel for customer care in a telecommunication company. This channel should be a selfcare portal. The thesis analyses an actual status of communication tools of local telco operators, further discuss a process of communication between customer and customer care centre with concentration on the most problematic issues. Based od this proces, the work projects a model of a selfcare portal and analyses all the effects and changes that have an influence on the problematic places of the basic process. Then, the thesis describes methods of testing the performance of this changed process and finally in the summary the thesis confirms the necessity of the selfcare portal as an ideal solution for communication between customers and telco operator.

This thesis presents 2N Telekomunikace a.s. company and describes its strategy when entering chosen countries of European Union with lift communicator. Part of this work provides theoretical view, which focuses on steps that are usual when companies enter international markets. Knowledge from this part of thesis is used in practical approach of 2N company that entered these foreign markets.
