Implementation of Customer Relationship Management in an Organization

The thesis is focused on the customer relationship management inside companies (CRM). Theoretical part deals with the general overview of CRM as a philosophy and as a system. Herein the actual trends and approaches are described. The project which is indispensable to be prepared before proceeding to the main implementation is described in the implementation project part. It contains all the initial steps that lead towards successful implementation -- strategic analysis, avoiding and removing barriers, selecting the partner for implementation and also a brief overview of the causes of the implementation failures. Implementing the system is the final step of the overall CRM project. Keeping the steps I described in the implementation part makes the process easier to handle and reduces possible delays. Integral part of the thesis is a practical example of a successful implementation. In this case I describe how to optimize the phone call flow through various parts of the company.
Improvements of information flows in road haulage

The dissertation thesis works out the problematic of increasing quality in information flow in road haulage. The thesis highlights logistic chains of road haulage of both carload freight and colli deliveries. Research project took place in two divisions of the biggest south bohemian transport company ČSAD JIHOTRANS a.s. The specified quality improvement of information flows comes out from implementation of new information technologies. The dissertation thesis is not only the description of new functions of implemented technologies, but it mainly describes consequential changes, which are necessary to perform in order to reach requested improvements.

Diploma thesis reviews a topic of Customer Relationship Management information system implementation from a managerial point of view. Theoretical part describes strategies for a Customer Relationship Management in a field of a small and middle enterprise business. It contains a description of technological options and a market situation in information systems business. Author describes a topic of information systems and their value added and is focused on a process of implementing the Customer Relationship Management information system. In a practical part there is a specific implementation project being analyzed. The analysis is based on the feedback of customers of a company and users of a new system. This part describes a specific implementation project, highlights possible failures and finds possible options to avoid them.
Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility at 3M Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to present the top management of 3M Czech Republic with a comprehensive solution to their CSR implementation task. The thesis starts by giving the reader an insight into the today's forms of business ownership including corporations and by covering the issue of governance explains why corporations need a solution like CSR. Subsequently, the theoretical foundations of CSR are presented, followed by an explanation of the actual business tool. Additionally, a generic implementation roadmap is devised together with key success factors of this process identified. Based on this generic roadmap, a tailored solution for 3M Czech Republic including specific recommendations on measures and key performance indicators is developed.
Preparation for the implementation of documents and records management in the public sector organization

This master's thesis deals with documents and records management using the computer information systems in the Enterprise Content Management. The thesis explains basic terms relating to the implementation of information systems and incorporates such systems into the structure of enterprises information systems. Further it describes all main features of currently used systems for the Enterprise Content Management and it explains the fundamental legislative aspects of operation of such information systems. The second part of this thesis practically prepares the implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System in a specific organization of the public sector. The preparation of the implementation is performed from the initial analysis of processes in the organization to the definition of requirements on a specific information system. The knowledge of benefits from the use of an information system in an organization is the precondition of an effective use of such an information system in documents and records management and that is why this thesis proposes a method for measuring of benefits arising from the use of document and records management system in the organization.

This thesis also discusses their main criterias according to which companies should look on during their choice and rating. Next part focuses on software implementation including problems which companies may face. In the practical part a particular process of implementation is introduced in the practical way.

Diploma thesis introduces a modern concept of Corporate Social Responsibility - CSR. At the same time it searches for an answer to the question: Is a topic just for the business organisations? Or is there a space for involvement of public sector? Theoretical part defines the concept, proces of implementation and its new trends (Strategic CSR). It also deals with possibilities of public instituitions in world of CSR? The second part analyses (thanks to the questionnare research)the situation of CSR at one of the public instituitions - university, at University of Economics in prague specifically. The main goal was to find out students'insight into CSR issue at University of Economics in Prague and tries to find out the the most relevant topics for students.
Analysis of implementation of chosen Enterprise Resource Planning systems

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of implementation of business information systems. There are given theoretical guidelines for choosing, implementing and checking of information systems. This thesis is focused on Enterprise Resource Planning software; nevertheless it is applicable to other information software as well. Theory is confronted with the real business data gathered from Czech companies by the means of structured interview, on-line forms and by reading case studies. On the basis of analyzed data it is verified whether the guidelines are followed.
Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Governance

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate present experiences with enterprise risk management implementation and to provide potential solutions for futher risk management development. It also includes minor aims clarifying often falses, which are done by companies. At the beginning of the thesis there are presented common principles with qualitative and quantitative methods. Then the implemenation part is following where methods and conditions of enterprise risk management are described. For succesful system implementation is then described risk culture, where corporate governance is firstly mentioned. A diference among risk management and enterprise risk management is shown in a next chapter compiling financial management and risk management. Own Solvency II experiences, RVA concept, risk management deficiencies and transition from risk measurement to risk management are closing the thesis. The conclusion of the thesis only summarises aims' fulfillment and said hypotheses are confirmed. Enterprise risk management has to be based on common risk management acceptation as a mainstream of the company that has to be fully supported by risk management department.
Implementation of the business competency model

The thesis focuses on the implementation of the Business Competency Model in the retail chain, whose sole owner is the German parent company. In the theoretical part are - based on literature research - defined the basic concepts needed for further understanding of the thesis. The practical part first explains the cultural differences between Czechs and Germans, later the findings are used to design a competency model for the Czech Republic. The methods of semi structured interviews and pilot certification are used. In the chapters 5 and 6 are described the steps of the original German model, which is later adapted to conditions in the Czech Republic. Definitions of risk that may arise during the phases of the project and possible ways for their elimination are also considered. The thesis concludes with recommendations for the use of models in the future.
