The objective of this master´s thesis is evaluation of the financial situation and the efficiency of a company. The theoretical part is focused on the elementary methods of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added as an efficiency measure. This theory is then applied to a particular company. The practical part contains calculation of selected ratios of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added. The entire financial situation of the company is evaluated on the basis of results, included recommendation of appropriate deficiencies.

The thesis Performance Analysis of employees on the Service Desk to be engaged in evaluating and rewarding performance of employees working on the Service Desk. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part examines possible ways of evaluating and rewarding performance of employees. The practical part proposes a solution which demonstrates the real performance of employees, set of financial rewards commensurate with their performance and propose the implementation of modified assessment and reward performance.
Influence of selected Factors on the Performance of Workers

This thesis deals with impact of the chosen factors on the performance of employees. It describes performance itself, productivity and difference between them. It examines factors which can have impact on the performance. There are analyzed different ways of evaluation of working performance and productivity and examined possible ways of performance management. There is analyzed which factors have impact on performance in chosen organization where research was made, using logistic regression. There are presented results of research and analyzed impact in practice. Finally it suggests possible solution and recommendation for management of the organization.

This master thesis deals with creating a concept of performance evaluation model in scope of Balanced Scorecard methodology for selected business unit. In theoretical part of this thesis are described basic principles of this method, including its perspectives and general rules of the implementation process. In practical part was performed a strategic analysis of business unit. On its basis is compiled business strategy for selected time period and also specific key performance indicators for evaluation of reaching strategic goals.

Subject of this bachelor thesis "Annnual financial statement according to IFRS and czech financial reporting standards" is a comparation of both systems. Theoretical part defines financial statement and its properities. Practical part defines differences between Czech and International Financial Reporting Standards via practical application on specific examples. Subsequently there is specified balance sheet and income statement according to both Czech and International Financial Reporting Standards. Conclusion of the bachelor thesis is done by evaluation of company efficiency via ratio indicators of financial analysis.

The main goal of this thesis is to propose appropriate recommendations towards maintaining or improving financial performance of selected companies in the logistics industry. At the beginning of the practical part is characterized the transport industry and storage. Further presents three selected companies. For all from these companies is monitored 2009 - 2012. For complex view of the current state of performance of companies is worked out traditional financial analysis and calculated economic value added. Then is worked out analyse of sensitivity and factor analysis, which identifies the factors influencing the level of EVA. The thesis is finished by an evaluation of the results, comparing between companies and propose recommendations for maintaining or improving financial performance.
Measures implemented in the selected company to overcome the financial crisis

The aim is to assess the economic situation of the chosen company during the global financial crisis. The paper clarifies concepts related to the crisis, the causes and consequences of the current crisis and the normal response to the situation of companies. The work is mainly focused on measures that have been implemented by the crisis. It is necessary to evaluate the performance of the business to assess the specific measures. The main method is financial analysis and analysis of profits and cash flow. There is also highlighted on the development of absolute and relative indicators and their change after contact with company management.
Economic Value Added of LUKROM, spol. s r.o.

This bachelor thesis deals with the method suitable for measuring business productivity Economic Value Added (EVA). The theoretical part describes two calculation options, one from USA developed by Stern Stewart & Company, the other for czech companies created by Ministry of industry and trade in collaboration with couple Neumaiers. These theoretical models are applied in the practical part on the existing czech company LUKROM, spol. s r.o. and identify the economic value added in the years 2006 - 2010. Subsequently, the second method identified individual influences on the peak indicator with pyramidal decomposition of the annual changes. Finally, we compare this company with the industry and evaluate its success against the same focused businesses by benchmarking diagnostic financial indicators INFA.
Ways to address selected areas of cooperative organization and its application in Cluster Omnipack

This work is based on knowledge of concept of clusters and of other cooperative organizations. The general objective of this work is to solve specific, narrowly defined problems of a particular cluster. The reason was to come up with a solution that will be applicable and useful in this particular cluster. And this solution may be useful also in other clusters, because clusters throughout Europe, have many common features. Problems were generated by the author, during talks with representatives of cluster Omnipack. So these problems are important and really relevant for this cluster. Next goal was to measure these issues in relation to basic criteria, like importance, and difficulty. This evaluation was the basis for selecting problems to solve. Other objective was to search for specific solutions using existing literature, examples from other clusters and output of own research of clusters. As main problem to solve was chosen problem called "performance measurement". Because no suitable solution was found in the literature or other resources, author had to create own solution. Problematic area of the problem "performance assessment" was described as follows: "Support from European Union subsidies is really crucial for many clusters in Czech Republic right now. But after the end of these subsidies, clusters will have to prove or demonstrate to its members that they are still useful. Then cluster members will be then willing to continue with financial supporting of their cluster." The problem was solved from the perspective of cluster members, and main areas of its concept are performance evaluation of cluster members from the perspective of a cluster member, benefits of the cluster as a whole for members of the cluster, the benefits of other members of the cluster for a particular member of the cluster and cluster management role for the use of these advantages from the perspective of cluster members. Solution of this problem is very detailed and extensive, and represents main author's scientific contribution. Important point of this approach is evaluating the performance of the cluster from the perspective of cluster members. This approach brings some new insights. Author proposed his own concept of looking at the actors and factors, influencing the performance of cluster members. Proposed concept of pairwise comparison of cluster members is also really innovative. It brings new opportunities in the detailed description and understanding the cluster by its members and management.
