Self-service station for charging of electric automobiles
Kubizňák, Jan ; Fojtík, Pavel (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a creation of SW for the self-service charging station of ELNICO Ltd. company. The work consists of two main parts. The first part contains an overview of general charging stations for electro cars at current market. After this the prototype of the ELNICO system is described. It's main components and the control system realized by the development kit DK-LM3S9B96 are characterized here. The real-time operating system FreeRTOS, that is used by the kit, is also specified. The second part of the document deals with the SW design and realization. The thesis describes the structure and the main modules of the program. The functionality is then demonstrated by photos of running application.

It is focused on the main advantages and disadvantages of hybrid propulsion and deals with an impact of those cars on environment, especially on greenhouse gases production. This thesis also shows look at hybrids from financial aspect.
Real consumption of primary energy of plug-in hybrid and electric cars
Bochníček, Ondřej ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The topic of bachelor thesis is to evaluate a consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids depending on the place of the operation and also to compare a particular representative with similar classic cars with combustion engine. Another criterion used for evaluation is the emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer. For the consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids is essential to know how is the electricity produced in the chosen area. With the energy mix of each state, characteristics of given ways of producing electricity and consumptions of selected cars the consumption of primary energy of selected cars and emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer were determined. From the computed data results, that the lowest energy consumption have the electric cars driven in countries with dominant representation of renewable energy sources. Conversely the worst conditions are in the countries with high part of fossil fuels in electricity production. From the comparison of single electric cars and plug-in hybrids with classic cars results that electric cars or plug-in hybrids are at the time of writing this thesis practically in all cases more energy efficient and also produce less emission of carbon dioxide.
Design of Recharge Station for Electric Car
Sovják, Richard ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is innovative approach to design of recharge station for electric cars with technical, esthetic, ergonomic and economic demands. The final design with it's modern and functional look should be an attractive element placed in service environment. Another aim is also to fulfill social and psychological functions and address the public with not only thinking about alternative energy in transport.

This thesis provides basic information about lithium as element and metal. It continues with enumeration of its applications emphasizing its importance in battery industry. Significant part of this thesis is dedicated to selection of some of the countries with lithium sites and reserves. Last there are suggestions of possible threats in rise of this industry. In conclusion there is a summary, whether the investment in lithium could be profitable.
Market analysis of vehicles with alternative engines
Čermáková, Renáta ; Koubek, Ivo (advisor) ; Hudík, Marek (referee)
Alternative fuel are getting more and more important. The aim of this study is to discover the financial benefits of vehicles with alternative engines for different types of consumers. The consumers are separated to the three groups with 15 000, 25 000 and 50 000 kilometers driven per year. For the calculations is used the net present value method using two estimates of energy prices until year 2020. For comparison, in this text are three types of cars with alternative power, hybrid car, car with LPG engine and electric car. The results show that hybrid car is good for consumers, who travels every year more than 25 000 km. Consumers who travel 15 000 km a year, a car with hybrid drive is worthwhile. LPG powered car is advantageous for all groups of consumers. In contrast, electric car is not advantageous for any group of consumers, mainly for too high prices.
