The analysis is carried out based on journalist characters appearing as protagonists in thirteen motion pictures from the given period. The comparison of the characters is executed within three groups, classified according to the type of journalist - investigative journalists, celebrity and lifestyle journalists and television anchormen and reporters. The characters are compared to each other from the point of view of physical appearance, character traits, family and social relations, their attitude towards authorities, the most common stereotypes and other character's perception of them.
