Title: Marketing research on the satisfaction of spectators sporting event High Jump in 2011 Objectives: The aim of my work is to make the marketing research on satisfaction of spectators by questionnaire survey and to suggest solution based on research results, which could lead to an improvement in the areas criticized this event. Method: The method of personal questioning was chosen for the research. The sample of research was chosen randomly from the basic set of spectators. Results: The values obtained are organized in tables and graphs in result section. There were found unsatisfied spectators in each of the examined areas, so the large room for improvement is on the event. Overall, spectators were satisfied with the event. Problems of organizing a public marathon cross-country skiing

Topic: Organizational issues of a public mass marathon in cross-country skiing Goals of thesis: The aim of this thesis is to identify all the difficulties with planning, implementation and evaluation of public mass marathon in cross-country skiing. Further this work should give a example and methodological manual for organization of public mass marathon. This thesis is valid for Czech Republic. Method: The solution results from analysis of documents dealing with the issue. Another source of information is based on long term organizational experience of LK Slovan Karlovy Vary with organizing public mass marathon. Results: The main goal was achieved by creating detailed instructions for organization of mass race. The main contribution of this thesis is to provide the guidelines for organizers beginners of public mass marathon. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describe history of mass-races in cross country skiing at home and abroad. There is also set of rules for mass races and theoretically described process of organizing sport's events in terms of economics, marketing and management. Business Plan for Organization of Fireman Races

This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the problem of organization of a sport event - specifically a fire sport contest at a premier league level of the Czech Republic. Separate chapters of the work discuss the history of the fire sport in the Czech Republic and abroad, its significance and various subdisciplines. It contains author’s own concept of organization of this kind of event, including possible ways of obtaining sufficient personal, material and financial support. Final economic evaluation is also included. The main motive of the thesis is evaluation of the feasibility of the organization concept.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the preparation and implementation of an international competition in skiing. Work is divided into several parts. The theoretical part deals with the creation of a business plan, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis , marketing mix, questionnaire, budgets and calculations and analysis of the competitive environment . These findings are applied in the practical part, which is also designed to upgrade the plant.

The first part is devoted to the theoretical background for creation of analysis and explanation of important concepts in mountain biking. The second part is focused on application of analysis. The last section contains suggestions for improvements and increase the attractiveness of the races.
Urban Festivities and Cultural Events as Instruments of Urban Revitalization and Development

The central aim of this research is to contribute to the debate on the actual and potential role of urban festivities in urban development of cites areas. For some time, policy makers, planners and architects have realized the great importance of urban festivities and cultural events in revitalization and development of urban areas. They pay attention to both direct or indirect impact of such activities. A variety of festivities and cultural events have started to been incorporated into large-scale architectural and urban projects. They have also been employed as political tools. By now, it is generally accepted that urban festivities and cultural events are important investments contributing to the integration of communities and overall improved representation of the urban region. They often provide the urban environment with a new meaning and/or character. The proposed research is investigating and analyzing the potential effects of urban festivities and cultural events on the transformations and new perceptions of urban spaces and how they can be used as policy tools. It focuses on organized open-air activities in urban public spaces (including urban centers, neighborhoods and peripheries). Principal results of this research are based on the cooperation of two research centres: the Institute of Theory, School of Architecture, Brno University of Technology in Czech Republic and Laboratory for Theories on Urbanism, French Planning Institute, Paris VIII University in France.
Monetary value of voluntary labour during organization of big sport event

The research problem of this thesis was to hold large-scale sports event and its organization by nonprofessional workers that must be managed. To solve the main problem, we selected two main objectives. Determining monetary value of voluntary labour during organization of big sports event based on method VŠE was the first goal. This objective was fulfilled and determines the value at CZK 118.25. The second goal was to analyse the organization of sports event and it's securing. Using network analysis was able to find the critical path of preparation activities. Gantt diagram allowed carrying out a full analysis of resources, which could be the subject of further research.
Economic of international running sport actions in the Czech Republic

The economic situation of the company Prague International Marathon, s.r.o. is the main objective of this Diploma Thesis. To be more accurate, it particularly is the application of methods and tools of financial analysis together with analysis of revenue and costs of the company. When implementing previous methods and tools of economic analysis, we will be able to assess the economic health of the company. This analysis is primarily focused on horizontal and vertical analysis of assets and liabilities. It also focuses on ratio indicators. Following section of the Thesis deals with economic analysis of earnings and costs. The final task is to analyze the economical impact of organizing running actions in the Czech Republic. This economical impact will be compared with similar actions taking place in Germany, especially in Berlin.
Sport centres in the Czech republic - possibilities of using in tourism

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the total capacity of sport centres in a selected region of the Czech republic. The capital city of Prague was chosen for this analysis as one of the most important tourist destinations within the Czech republic with a developed sport infrastructure, which offers a potential for the development of active tourism. Not all of the sport centres situated in Prague are included in the research, but the emphasis is put on such centres and services related to sport activities that can be used by tourists within the active and passive sport tourism. The thesis also includes a survey which aims to find out, what are the general trends in the behavior of people in relation to active and passive sport tourism and sport activities in Prague.
