Thermoregulatory generator for a small combustion boiler
Kováč, Samuel ; Babička Fialová, Dominika (referee) ; Jecha, David (advisor)
With increasing requirements for the full use of the heat that is produced, the effort to use waste heat is also increasing. One of the possibilities for such heat is the direct conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy. A device called a thermoelectric generator (TEG) is used for this purpose. Nowadays, it is in the constant development part of their existence. The limiting active substance is the known thermoelectric materials. Nevertheless, this technology finds its use in practice. This work is characterized by the basic principles of thermoelectric conversion, the materials discovered so far and their efficiency, and lastly the TEG patients in a lump wood gas boiler. The main idea of the project, which is ongoing in cooperation between BUT and Ecoscroll, is the development of a small combustion device, a household boiler for wood fuel with manual attachment, which would meet the emission parameters of the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC, can function independently of the connection to the electricity network.
Grammar Systems and Their Applications
Kříčka, Dalibor ; Klembara, Radovan (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This thesis aims to introduce a new type of cooperating distributed (CD) grammar system based on already existing types, then define a specific grammar system of the new type and apply it within a parser. The newly introduced type combines features of the hybrid CD grammar system and CD grammar system with internal control and emphasizes the determinism of cooperation protocol. The explicitly defined grammar system applies three methods of syntactic analysis (LL predictive, precedence and SLR) and accepts a subset of C++ language. The practical aspect of this thesis demonstrates the applicability of the mentioned grammar system by console application, which implements the forepart of a compiler based on this system.
Modification of the AFW150 paver design to enhance production efficiency with new technology incorporation
Šrenk, Vojtěch ; Kolomý, Štěpán (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the modification of the auger mechanism design on the AFW150 paver to improve its production efficiency and to use new production technologies in cooperation with Ammann. The thesis deals with the identification of available competitive solutions and evaluation of their parameters. Based on the obtained knowledge, the input requirements are defined, which the proposed variants reflect. These further influences the design solution itself, the mechanism assembly procedure, production design and analytical calculations of bearing, chain, and driveshaft stress durability. Changes in the manufacturing procedures and technologies used in the subassemblies of the mechanism are proposed in the thesis. The proposed and implemented changes are aimed at reducing production costs. The conclusions of the thesis then focus on the economic and technical aspects of the proposed solution and their evaluation.

The aim of this work was to analyze two traffic datasets from the Waze navigation application and to create a web application to process, analyze and visualize the results. The web application is intended to serve not only the citizens of the city Brno, but also to the staff of the transport department for better understanding and more efficient transport planning. The application is implemented using the FastAPI framework and the React library. In cooperation with the staff of the transport department, the application has been tested by real users. The results of this work are a web application that allows users to analyze traffic on selected streets and routes and better understand and define the most critical sections for traffic in the city of Brno, with the potential to expand to other cities.
Revision of Minor Geodetic Control within the Complex Land Consolidation
Staško, Samuel ; Drápela, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the work is to carry out in cooperation with Ageris s.r.o. a revision of the detailed position point field (DPPF) and its subsequent completion for the needs of the complex land consolidation (CLC) in the cadastral area of Hřivinův Újezd. The basis for the revision of the DPPF was geodetic data. The existing points of the DPPF were identified during the field visit and located using the local descriptions and measurements indicated in them. Their location was verified by GNSS-RTK measurements. From the results of the review, documentation was prepared, which also included a proposal for the addition of the existing DPPF. After the proposal was approved by the Land Registry Office in Zlín, the new geodetic points were stabilised and geodetically surveyed using the GNSS-RTK method, occasionally by terrestrial means. After the completion of the field measurement work, the appropriate documentation was prepared for the newly added geodetic points of the DPPF, which was subsequently adopted into the technical documentation of the Zlín Land Registry Office.
Recycling
Mrázek, Mikuláš ; Morys, Oldřich (referee) ; Korbička, Pavel (advisor)
The intention of the bachelor thesis is mainly to highlight the surplus of materials and the overwhelming of the planet with waste, the possibilities of recycling solid materials such as metal and remelting them into other objects. Working not only with the material but also with the people inside the scrap metal is essential. Creating a social contact with the workers and working together to transform the waste into sculptural works and create a video is essential for the bachelor thesis.
Virtual commissioning of the multi-purpose manipulator
Čech, Michal ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of the XTS linear transport system in cooperation with an industrial robot. The theoretical part is devoted to the division of handling devices and kinematics of industrial robots. The practical part deals with the design of a demonstration task using handling devices whose movements are controlled and configured by means of a PLC using kinematic transformations. Furthermore, this part focuses on the structure of the control PLC program and HMI visualization for controlling the operation of the workplace, including the robot and XTS. The PLC program and HMI is processed in the TwinCAT 3 software environment. Finally, the functionality of the kinematic transformations is verified by virtual commissioning in the NX Mechatronics Concept Designer software.
Spatial Augmented Reality for Robotic Workplace
Štrof, Jakub ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The focus of this work is to create projected user interface, which will complement AREditor, an application for robotic programming and also to calibrate Kinect and projector using existing calibration method. For calibration, I used the procam-calibration method, which uses projected Gray codes onto a chessboard to calculate calibration parameters. Thanks to it, virtual objects can be placed correctly into the real space. User interface was implemented using game engine Unity. By testing the interface, it was found that it helps the user to better grasp the relation between real and virtual space when placing virtual objects into the robotic workplace. It also raises user's awareness of the robot's movements when cooperating with it.
Design of dosing unit for sanding of rail vehicles
Szabari, Šimon ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Omasta, Milan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the development of a sanding unit for rail vehicle. The aim is to develop a dosing device capable of applying sand to the contact of a wheel and a rail depending on the speed of the vehicle with the detection of the flow rate of the applied amount. The application of sand or alternative materials to the wheel-rail contact is an effective way to increase the traction of driving rail vehicles. During the development, there was a cooperation with a company engaged in the production of equipment for rail transport. During the work, experimental development was applied, during which a pneumo-mechanical dosing unit with control of the applied amount of sand was designed and tested. Simultaneously with the dosing unit, a sand box was designed that is suitable for the type of rail vehicle for the purpose of tests in real operation. The pre-prototype design has the potential to bring improvements in several areas of sanding systems.
Technical-economic framework for the integration of individual and community electricity generating plants
Vaculík, Tomáš ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
In conection with current energy situation, efforts to achieve energy self-sufficiency are increasing in the Czech Republic and the rest of the Europe. Renewable energy sources can already be used within households. However, not everyone has the opportunity to purchase and operate such a factory. The solution to these problems may bet he increasingly discussed community energy, which is becoming more popular in the Czech Republic in connection with changing legislation and financial motivation in the form of various grants and subsides. The purpose of this work is to create a summary of the most important information of the technical and economic framework and subsequent creation of an easily modifiable and parameterized model of energy communities, which will show the technical properties of individual connections, such as power losses or the influence of metrics on the resulting values of measured energy.
