This bachelor study is focusing on the financial analysis of the company STUDENT AGENCY Ltd during the period 2005 - 2008. This study is divided into two individual parts, the methodical and calculative part. In the methodical part there are defined theoretical bases for financial analysis, the sources and the methods, which are necessary for the financial analysis. In the calculative part there is introduced the company STUDENT AGENCY Ltd and then the methods of financial analysis are used. The results are closely analyzed in the text involved. In the end there is the evaluation of the whole financial situation of analyzed company.

Financial analysis of company

This graduation thesis deal with the financial analysis of the Limited Liability Company. The financial analysis is elaborated for the needs of the company owner and it covers the period of time 2005-2009. To evaluate the company financial position I use standard methods, e.g. - horizontal and vertical analysis, calculations of profitability, activity, liquidity, productivity of labour and indebtedness. At the end of the thesis I give a complex evaluation of the company and suggest some measures for the financial innovation of the company.

Eventually, reference calculation of EVA model using Ministery of Industry and Trade model.

Diagnostika obchodní firmy podle základních účetních výkazů

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vyhodnotit hospodaření firmy Autodoprava Milata s.r.o. za období posledních pět let při použití metod a ukazatelů finanční analýzy. K analýze byly použity rozvahy a výkazy zisků a ztrát (výkaz cash flow firma nevypracovává). Vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že tato malá rodinná firma v celém sledovaném období byla zisková, jistě zvolila vhodnou strategii působení na trhu, nicméně existují oblasti, ve kterých vykazuje potenciál ke zlepšení. Jako klíčový problém se jeví nedostatečné finanční zdroje na účtech v bankách a značné čerpání kontokorentních prostředků, což nepříznivě ovlivňuje ukazatele likvidity. Jisté vysvětlení nabízí převis doby obratu pohledávek nad dobou obratu závazků, který má tendenci se s postupem času zvyšovat. Z tohoto důvodu doporučuji kontrolovat doby splatnosti u závazků i pohledávek, začít zpracovávat výkaz o peněžních tocích, následně vyvozovat patřičné závěry a kroky a tím přispět ke zlepšení v oblasti likvidity. Dalším problémem je záporný výsledek hospodaření z běžné činnosti, kde Autodoprava Milata nedokázala (s výjimkou roku 2007) generovat natolik vysoké příjmy, aby pokryla náklady. V budoucnu by se tedy měla zaměřit na snižování nákladů především v oblasti provozní, jakožto hlavní oblasti činnosti. Nižší náklady znamenají vyšší zisky a tedy zlepšení v ukazatelích rentability. Na základě vypočítaných hodnot Altmanova koeficientu bankrotu lze předpovídat příznivý vývoj firmy i v následujícím období, otázkou ale je, jak se projeví na jejím hospodaření ekonomická recese, která bude ovlivňovat nejen naší ekonomiku. Finanční analýza nemá legalizovaný obsah a je ovlivněna subjektivním přístupem osoby, která ji zpracovává. Použité metody a ukazatele vedly k nastínění oblastí, kterým by vedení firmy Autodoprava Milata s.r.o. mělo v budoucnu věnovat zvýšenou pozornost a při aplikaci doporučení a zvýšené orientaci na problémové oblasti může být jistě dosaženo lepších výsledků.

První část práce seznámí čtenáře se základními charakteristikami Angoly. Jedná se o charakteristiky týkající se její geografie, struktury obyvatel, historie, politického systému a hlavně ekonomické charakteristiky včetně zahraničního obchodu. Druhá část se zabývá odlišnostmi v průběhu obchodního jednání s angolskými partnery. Tato část se věnuje také kulturním specifikům této země. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná bilaterálním vztahům mezi Českou Republikou a Angolou.

Business and cultural specialties in business dealing with Indian partners

The first chapter is dedicated to basic characteristics of India. In the second chapter you can find business specialties. These include issues which in my opinion highly characterize business environment, more or less friendly for doing business. The core part of this thesis is cultural and social manners, values, norms which I compare, as per Hoefstede's theory, with the Czech Republic, etiquette and forms of dealing. My analysis of the business and cultural specialties during dealing with Indian partner are closed by the chapter in which I present information gathered from experienced participants of business dealing with Indian partners. This confirms or specifies my theoretical knowledge. Before the ending there is a characteristic of strong and weak aspects of the Indian business environment, mainly from the point of view of those who see India as another economic growing giant.

Methodology of Testing Web Applications

The principle aim of this thesis is to create an unified methodical framework for a smaller Software Testing Department. Furthermore, its aim is to define and describe an important element of testing - the software mistake, define the way of its reporting and finally with the view of it to specify the troubleshooting areas of web applications. The last aim is to find a solution of how to publish this methodology. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and applications of principles that are known from notorious and approved methodologies which complexly focus on the software development. These principles were confronted with author's practical experience. Based on these processes, the methodology described above has been originated The contribution of the thesis is in the inner structure of the methodology, summarization of the most important information, application of practical personal experiences and adapting some elements of the methodology according to its usage in a small team. Other strong points are the proposals and recommendations of how to improve the situation on the testing department of a particular company, how to publish the methodology and how to maintain it in the future. The thesis is composed of three main parts. In the first chapter, the essential characteristics of testing, models of the life cycle of software development, sorts and levels of tests are given. The second chapter is the crucial part of the thesis. It describes the whole methodology - the main workflow and its details (processes), activities made during these processes, roles occurring in the methodology and the description of its responsibility (for activities and artefacts), artefacts made on the testing department, full description of mistake and its reporting and finally the summary of mistakes appearing in the web applications environment. The last chapter attends to the way of putting the methodology into operation - technical coverage of particular parts of the methodology in the present time, suggestion of improvement the testing in the future and possibilities of the publication of the methodology.
