Genre painting of the 17th and early 18th centuries in Bohemia
Rousová, Andrea ; Horyna, Martin (advisor) ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee) ; Mádl, Martin (referee)
The theme of the thesis "Genre Painting of the 1 i h and early 18th Centuries in Bohemia" was primarily selected due to the fact that until now none of the scholars had attended to this topic. Therefore the thesis for the first time surveys the situation on the art scene and straightaway from several points of view. Pivotal is the recognition of genre paintings by artists working in Bohemia during the period of Early and mainly High Baroque. However, firstly it was necessary to circumscribe the genre painting as such because this determination was fundamental in selecting the works that I labelled as genre. To this also relates the deeper introduction into the iconography and iconology of genre painting, rendered at the same time from the standpoint of the progress of interpretation of prominent experts in the discussed topic. The attention is paid to the references of genre painting in the commentaries of historiographers, painters, art theorists and further authors from Antiquity to the end of the 1 i h century as well. From them, among other things, it is clear that this category was not in the centre of their attention and their attitude to the genre painting was practically solely critical. The opposite attitude, however, is presented through the example of 1 i h and 18th centuries collecting....

Časový průběh procesů v aktuátorech pracujících na principu termoelasticity
Beneš, K. ; Dvořák, P. ; Ulrych, B. ; Doležel, Ivo
Linear electromagnetic actuators may transform electromagnetic energy into kinetic energy of straightforward moving part (plunger) in several ways. One of them is conversion of heat produced by eddy currents in a metal membrane to its deformation, which brings about pressure on the plunger. The paper presents a fundamental study of device working on principle and deals with its construction, operation parameters and optimisation.

3D Scene Reconstruction from Stereo Pictures
Turoňová, Beata ; Chum, Jaroslav (referee) ; Holub, Viliam (advisor)
We study 3D scene reconstruction from stereo pictures. First, we describe methods for computing fundamental matrix from a set of corresponding image points. Using this matrix we can obtain a projective 3D reconstruction. The second part deals with techniques of re ning the projective reconstruction to metric one. We focus especially on that one, which uses an essential matrix. Furthermore we discuss the possibilities of surface reconstruction from a given point cloud. The last part includes some details of an implementation and presents its results.

3D Reconstruction from two views
Myška, Milan ; Minář, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with 3D reconstruction process using two 2D pictures of one scene taken with uncalibrated cameras. The first chapter focuses on mathematical theory behind this process. Epipolar geometry, locating keypoints method SURF, fundamental and essential matrix, projection matrices, stereo rectification process and searching for stereo correspondences are explained here. The next chapter of my thesis describes a practical view of this topic and my own C++ program is introduced at the same time.

The Assessment of the stock market effectiveness and choosing the appropriate investment strategy
MEDKOVÁ, Petra
This thesis is dedicated to the stock markets issue. Its main aim was to assess the effectiveness of the stock market and choose an appropriate investment strategy. To this purpose, the 5 industries of U.S. stock market were chosen, which served as a data base for all applied methods. The thesis presents the results of correlation and runs tests verifying the weak form of market efficiency, the results of fundamental analysis and of active strategies simulation as well. The final part is focused on creating of investment portfolio, which was chosen as the most appropriate investment strategy of the refenrence data set.

Sculpture as Architecture of the Future
VINDUŠKA, Michal
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the creative expressions of sculpting and architecture, which are based on two fundamental and characteristic malleable ways: geometric form and organic form. It describes in detail some implementation of selected artists and shows on it the possibilities and methods (mainly artistic and functional) of the application of the above mentioned forms. These analyses then will help not only to compare the artistic work, but also are initial information to create an own original concept of the object, which is sculpturally implemented.

Prevention of ischemic involvement of the heart in acute coronar disease in prehospital care
Strnadel, Matěj ; Karásek, Jiří (advisor)
The acute coronar desease takes an important place as a cause of death in the world. The prehospital care, I wanted to describe here, is the first part of prevention of the ischemic involvement of heart. As mentioned, the fundamental part is a general idea about the symptoms given by the desease, which allows to start the terapeutic process by picking up the phone in order to call for a help. A duty of a doctor of the first contact is to recognize, if we are facing the acute coronar desease and to begin the treatment. The objektive is to establish the blood flow again as quickly and safety as possible. Acetylsalicyl acid and heparin is given to the patient immediately. A combination of other antitrombotic druggs is being tasted nowdays. The PCI is an obtion for the patiens with ST elevation and the patiens with ST depression in high risk. A trombolisis, as far as indicated, is used only for patiens with elevation of interval ST. The problematic of faciliting trombolisis is a question of future, because a satisfactory evidence does not exist yet.

Origami as didacktical environment in matematical education
Boháčová, Jana ; Roubíček, Filip (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
The thesis deals with origami as a learning environment in mathematics education. The two main aims of the thesis are to show the possibilities of using origami in various areas of mathematics teaching and learning, especially in synthetic geometry and calculations in geometry, and to suggest specific origami-based activities for secondary education. First, origami is introduced in its historical context and its geometrical axioms are described. Further, advantages and difficulties of using origami in mathematics education are discussed, with respect to the type and level of school. The fundamental part of the thesis consists of description and didactical analysis of tasks based on folding of an equilateral triangle and various polyhedra. Some of these tasks are adapted from other resources, some were designed by the author. Based on direct experience with employing origami-based tasks in different classrooms, methodological recommendations are added to the individual analyses, facilitating the practical usage of the thesis.

Product Information Management - the fortune hidden in product data
Bort, Tomáš ; Slánský, David (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
The exceeding supply over demand and very hard competitive conditions are nowadays the main features of the majority of sectors. A successful company is the one that is able to satisfy specific customers' needs, the one that has efficient cooperation with its suppliers throughout the whole supply chain and also the one that is able to speed up the in-house information exchange. Thus the company has to seek constantly new and innovative solutions. This is not possible without standardization and automatization of business processes. This master's thesis is dedicated to one of the possible solutions -- the Product Information Management (PIM). Since it is intended for business managers (without deep IT knowledge), at the beginning it answers the question why it is so important to know master data and to manage it. It specializes in managing product data, brings its comprehensive overview and identifies the advantages and drawbacks of the implementation as well as financial and organizational impacts. The consecutive chapter deals with simplified yet applicable approach to data management analysis (with emphasis on the PIM) and based on research, it mentions main mistakes of the implementation. In addition to the overview of main vendors of the PIM solution, it presents the latest trends in the PIM. Besides internal data synchronization, the thesis analyses several product standards -- the fundamental step towards external data synchronization, the key topic of the practical part. The whole thesis is conceived to provide an organization with a simple yet compact and therefore very effective tool for master product data insight and thus to help it to gain a competitive advantage.
