The output is 3D model of the object and a video of the final scene.
Object Detector for Robotic Workplace
Kneslík, Martin ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to create an algorithm for detection and tracking of colored cubes using the Kinect Azure depth camera and integrate this algorithm into the ARCOR2 system. The solution uses color filtering of the input image, the DBSCAN algorithm for finding clusters in the pointcloud, and RANSAC for plane detection. The detection is evaluated on a custom dataset with an accuracy of 91%. The user of the ARCOR2 system can use the results of this work in a demonstration workstation in the robotics lab, where robots will manipulate the colored cubes detected by the algorithm.
3D model registration with depth camera data
Laser scanning for building information modeling (BIM)
Kocourek, Adam ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the creation of an information model of a part of a historical building of the rectory in the village of Cetkovice based on a point cloud. The thesis includes creation of geometrically and visually accurate window and door families according to the real-life template, taking into account the benefits of this approach for conservation purposes. In addition to the resulting model of a part of the building, the main outputs of the thesis include visualizations created in the Twinmotion software. This thesis also evaluates practical and economic feasibility of the potential outputs of the model.
Building Information Model (BIM) visualization capabilities in the Unreal Engine gaming environment
Fučík, Vojtěch ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creating of an information model and subsequent visualizations of sv. Cyril and Metoděj chapel in Brno Bohunice, based on data obtained predominantly by laser scanning. The theoretical part of thesis deals with description of concepts related to an information model and description of methods used for obtaining such data for its creation. The practical part describes the usage of methods for data collection, process of creating the informational model and creation of visualizations. The outputs of the thesis are model and visualizations of the chapel.
Use of laser scanning in heritage buldings
Müller, Jan
In the case of heritage buildings (and not only in their case), the problem is often the absence or outdated drawing documentation. In recent years, instead of the traditional surveying of buildings with the help of onedimensional tools (whether we mean a tape measure or a laser rangefinder), three-dimensional surveying using laser scanning, in which a virtual spatial copy of the object is created with the help of millions of points, the so-called point cloud, has been slowly gaining ground. This cloud or clouds can be used to create 2D and 3D documentation of the existing state of the building with much greater speed, accuracy and clarity than conventional methods. Currently, the two most widely used methods of laser scanning using so-called LIDAR are the static method, using fixed stations, and the dynamic method, using modern technology in the form of precision IMUs. The paper describes the principle of these two methods, their advantages and disadvantages and also the way of working with point clouds created in this way. Unfortunately, the greater spread of virtual representations of real objects created in this way is hindered by the higher purchase price of the necessary instruments, but already today their cost is many times lower than in the recent past and in the foreseeable future they could hopefully be available to all who would need them in their activities. The article also includes examples of point clouds as well as examples of the outputs they have produced.
Construction phase in the building information model
Richterová, Zuzana ; Hanzl,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the creation of construction phases in the building information model, which were created with the use of data from the design documentation of passport, data from the actual measurements taken mainly by laser scanning and the design documentation of reconstruction. This thesis describes the procedure from fieldwork (acquisition of measurement data), through its processing, to the final drawings including also the model in *.rvt format. The focus of the thesis is on the project phases, for which the issues arising in their creation are described. The stumbling block in this thesis was the inconsistency in the design documentations, which was mainly reflected in the creation of the model of the reconstruction phase. All the pitfalls that occurred in the thesis are explained in the text.
Laserscanning scanning for Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Jelínková, Hedvika ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a building information model using laser scanning. The first part describes laser scanning, the second part describes the use of BIM in the world and in the Czech Republic. The next section describes the process of creating a building information model.
Design and implementation of the robotic platform for an experimental laboratory task
Juříček, Martin ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Parák, Roman (advisor)
Pokročilá robotika se nemusí vždy pouze pojit s Průmyslem 4.0, nýbrž nachází své uplatnění i kupříkladu v konceptu Smart Hospital. Pokrok v této oblasti umocnilo onemocnění koronaviru (COVID-19), přičemž každé ulehčení práce zdravotnímu personálu je vítáno. V rámci této diplomové práce byla navrhnuta a implementována experimentální robotická platforma s hlavní funkcí stěru vzorků z předsíně dutiny nosní. Robotická platforma představuje kompletní integraci softwaru a hardwaru, kde má operátor přístup k webově založené aplikaci a může ovládat řadu funkcí.
3D model of the selected object
Mrůzek, Tomáš ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the implementation of a 3D model of two objects using laser scanning. This paper deals with the accuracy evaluation of several data interpretation. The first two methods are the outputs of the results from the FARO SCENE program and other interpretations are the outputs from the TRIMBLE REAL WORKS program. To assess accuracy and veracity, the exact test field of points previously built in the AdMas complex was used. The result of the project is a georeferenced 3D model of two objects with the surrounding environment.
