City House – Mixet Use Architecture
Veselá, Jana ; Urbášková,, Hana (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor)
The territory lies in the City of Brno, in the urban district of Zábrdovice. From the east it is demarcated by the Svitava River, from the south by the Cejl Street, and from the west by the Jan Svoboda Street. Its area is approximately 18,790 m2. From the standpoint of urban planning¸ the intensive house is a separate city block, which is, nevertheless, open in the eastern direction towards the Svitava River, thus communicating with the embankment. In the other direction there is both private and semi-private space inside the block as a relaxation green “garden” in several levels. The mass of the object links up in the prolonged line with the existing neighbouring blocks and thus respects the integrity of the territory. Intensive use of the territory consists in the achievement of high density of built-up area, and at the same time preserving the surroundings of quality for life and habitation. Functions are mixed here and a city of short distances is created here with nearly excluded traffic. In order to achieve such intensity, space urbanism is employed. The principle consists in a simple linear form of masses respecting the shape of the lot, which is vivified with an ellipsoid located in the courtyard, which is an accent towards the linear form. The ellipsoid serves as a small cultural and exhibition centre, at the same time connecting all the arms of the defining block and bringing daylight to the first floor. The block is open in the direction to the river and its half-public space is connected with the embankment with a staircase and verdure. Verdure is also made use of on the roofs. The defining mass is perforated, thus creating covered terraces. The principal architectonic intention was to create an integrated structure, where a significant role is played by the introduction of nature and polyfunctionality to the whole territory, thus increasing its attractivity. From the dispositional perspective the individual functions interpenetrate at al

Sports and Recreation Center Brno - Královo Pole
Sysel, Jakub ; Janok, Jakub (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis solves one object that functionally extends the existing sports facilities in Vodova street in Královo pole in the city district of Brno. The building stands alone and doesn't adjoin to any other building. The main objective was to create a base for more comfortable using of sports fields. The solution was to design locker rooms for visitors and a gallery with a café for currently physically inactive guests. It also serves as the main entrance to the field including box office. The building is designed to allow easy access from the field to the locker rooms and that even bystanders were able to watch the action on the field. They can watch not only from the ground level, but also from the café space, which is connected with a large balcony. The construction is communicatively connected to the outside ice rink area, which is used for other sports during the summer. The height of the object is derived from buildings around, which consists of terraced houses and sports halls.
Reinforced concrete structure of a multifunction building
Mengler, Tomáš ; Strnad, Jiří (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis „Reinforce concrete structure of multifunction building“ is deal with design of a department store construction. The aim is evaluace the ultimate limit state of reinforced concrete slab over the first floor. The analysis of the locally supported slab is performed by software on principle MKP, was choosen Scia Engineer 2012 software. The method of the sum of the moments is verify values of internal forces. In addition, the slab is assesed for pushing through. The last part of static calculation is assessment of a reinforced concrete pillar and a foundation block. The work is accompanied by drawings
Reinforced concrete frame of office building
Osyková, Martina ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Laníková, Ivana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis ,,Reinforced concrete frame of office building” deals with designing of selected elements of RC frame structure. Discussed elements are consist of beamed ceiling slab, beam, girder and frame column. Within above mentioned elements was carried out static analysis, design of reinforcement and reinforcement drawings. Analysis of internal forces was carried out with usage of the program Scia Engineer. 3D model of the whole object was created. The output accuracy was verified with help of 2D frame model, which was solved in the same program. Review of the results of the internal forces were carried out with help of manual calculation using the method of frame segments. Those elements were designed with consideration of ultimate limit state. Serviceability limit state assessment was carried out within the girder.
Multifunktional Building Brno
Míčová, Markéta ; Drobníček, Ladislav (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is based on school studios project of residential buildings. It develops architectural study of multifunctional building on Milady Horakove street in Brno - Zabovresky. At present there is a single-storey building of city police with a gym, which are designed to be demolished for the new building. The building follows street terraced houses and its height of 22,3 metres does not affect the surroundings. It is situated on the northern propety line on the edge of the street line. The building has 7 above ground floors and 1 underground floor. On the ground floor there is a commercial space of business, cafe and a closeable pavement to the courtyard. In the southern part of the site there is designed a new garden with a playground and a terrace for cafe. The 2nd to 4th floors are designed for administrative part, the 5th to 7th floors for habitation – 3+1 and one-room flats. In the basement there are storage spaces and technical facilities of the house. Parking is provided by leaseable garage spaces in the underground of IBC department store in the courtyard. The building is a reinforced concrete monolith with single shell casting that has a monotube flat roof. This is a combined structural system with local loadings into reinforced concrete pillars with beams and two bearing perimeter walls. Fundamentals are based on two perimeter walls and strip foundations combined with waterproof concrete piles.

Restaurace s příležitostnou hudební produkcí
Stuchlík, Jan
The intention of this thesis is to design and develop the necessary technical documentation for a wooden restaurant with occasional music production. The restaurant is divided into a smoking section and a non-smoking section, in which there would be the room for the occasional musical production. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of Kopřivnice on a gentle slope and is partially embedded in it. The underground part of the building is made up of a suitable masonry material. The skeleton of BSH prisms forms the bearing structure of super terrestrial part of the restaurant. The peripheral shell of the building is non-bearing. The majority of it will be glassed with isolating triple-glass and in addition with diffusely closed wall construction system. The building is provided with the flat vegetation roof. Finally the price of realization is specified
Objekt pro bydlení s kombinovaným stavebně konstrukčním systémem
Krella, Jeremiáš
The theoretical part of the thesis describes the use, working process and application of natural materials in family house construction, as well as their impact on the health aspects of building users. The thesis defines the environmental footprint of each particular material. The practical part of the thesis is primary focused on the building design which combines different structural systems from solid wood. The visual concept of the construction in particular was designed with the emphasis and respect to the surrounding countryside which belongs to Protected Landscape Area and is liable to special requirements. Requirements for permanent residence under the applicable legislation in the Czech Republic were respected with a maximum effort to use natural materials in the construction itself.
