Information System for Monitoring of a Presence State from Multiple Points
Ryšavý, Libor ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the problem of monitoring of a presence state from multiple points. It begins with analysis of presence information propagation in various systems and also with multiple points of presence in general terms. After that follows requirements analysis and design of information system which will evaluate presence information from multiple sources with various features and than display it graphically on plans or maps. At the conclusion there is described implementation and testing of developed information system.
Smart Home Control System
Ševčík, Radek ; Fučík, Otto (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with unconventional solutions in the field of home automation systems such as the central unit consisting of a miniature computer. The work includes architecture design, visualisation and control of such system
Remote Management of Unix Router with XMPP/Jabber Protocol
Bezdíček, Lukáš ; Matoušek, Petr (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis concerns designing and implementing a modular client for XMPP/Jabber protocol intended for interpreting commands for the OpenWrt operating system. My work contains information about XMPP/Jabber protocol and OpenWrt operation system and describes the process of designing and implementing the client.
The analysis of modern cloud solutions
Kis, Matej ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Rosenberg, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes existing cloud storage systems. Description of the prerequisites of developing cloud and distributed systems are presented. Current storage systems such as Dropbox, iCloud and Google drive are described. Description is mainly focused on the resources of both protocols and derive a conclusion for the use in the cloud storage systems. The practical part of this work is focused on creating two labs, what will be implemented in the teaching syllabus of Projecting, Administration and Security of Computer Networks subject. The first of the labs is focused on the implementation of own cloud services. In the last lab students attention will concentrate on interception of communication secured with SSL protocol.
Multiplatform gateway for voice communication in real-time
Starzyczny, Radek ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Novotný, Bohumil (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on VoIP communications. It describes deploy of the operating system OpenWRT, analog interface of router Gigaset SX762 and GSM gateway for receiving or place calls. The paper describes the protocols involved in the communication and basic configuration elements. Deploying IP telephony enables to reduce the cost of operation and provides a number of additional functions.
Interconnection of IEEE 802.15.4 and Ethernet networks
Pavlata, Karel ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
Táto práca sa venuje probému prepojovania rôznych typov sietí, konkrétne sietí typu IEEE 802.15.4 a Ethernetu. Motivácia vychádza zo stále sa rozširujúceho využitia bezdrátových senzorických sietí, potreby zberu dát z nich a ich integrácie. To vyžaduje aby sieť obsahovala prvky schopné preniesť dáta z bezdrátovej siete do okolitého sveta a prípadne poskytnúť konfiguračné a riadiace informácie do vnútra siete.
XMPP protocol Jabber features and its utilization for multimedia transmission
Havlena, Petr ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
Master’s thesis is trying to create opensource IM application for communication in Jabber network. In nowadays it is getting more and more popularity as at providers, so mainly at end users. In first half of thesis are explained basics of whole issues and in second half is described resulting application, which has been created by using of object oriented programming language Java. Java is very extended between programmers for her simplicity and great support. Thanks this is available a many external libraries and extensions. Application has been written on Smack library in version 3.04 and VoIP module on JMF (Java Media Framework). Graphic interface has been created by using of standard Java visual components (javax.swing).
Jabber robot for vocabulary exercising
Maršíček, Lukáš ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with development of an automated testing tool, which tests user's specified foreign language vocabulary, and of an additional web application, which displays information about test results to registered users. The practical part of the work is focused on analysis, design and implementation of both applications and it also includes a detailed user guide. The theoretical part briefly introduces the Leitner system, which is used in the automated testing tool to make the process of learning more effective, and the technology Jabber/XMPP, which is used for communication between the user and the developed automated testing tool. The main results of the work are both developed applications, which are designed as a tool for foreign language learning for all students, regardless of the level of their language skills.
Jabber robot for vocabulary exercising
Dušák, Petr ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Skoupý, Radek (referee)
Thesis on "Jabber robot for exercising words" is divided into two parts. First part is concerned with basics of XMPP, its history and current trends in instant messaging. Second part is focused on XMPP robot development. This robot is based on .NET Framework 4.0 and agsXMPP SDK. Second part also includes web site which is used for administration, following statistics and results of completed tests. Robot works in GoogleTalk network.
Development of XMPP client in JavaScript
Chromický, Václav ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to implement a modular instant messaging client for communication via the XMPP protocol. Firstly, the thesis explains the importance of the XMPP protocol within the context of the current largest instant messaging networks. The thesis then follows with description of the protocol itself and examines further technologies used for the development of the client application. An enumeration of requirements is then built. The requirements form two layers. The first layer proposes base functionality for communication via the XMPP protocol. The second layer then builds upon the features of the first layer and delivers end-user functionality. The resulting application is avaliable as an attachment of this thesis. The thesis concludes with two handbooks. The first one is a developers handbook describing the development of extending modules, the second handbook is a user guide for end-users of the instant messaging client.
