The Economic analysis of Oděvní podnik, a.s.

This thesis is focused on estimation of general economical situation of the firm Oděvní podnik, a.s. from year 2003 to 2009. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In first part the methodology is defined. Second part evaluates the company through the use of methods, which are defined in first part. The main methods I used are ratio analysis and analysis of absolute indicators. One part of this thesis is focused on application of bankruptcy and creditworthy models. The aim was to find out if this models are able to predict the bad financial situation, in which the company at present is.

Financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s.

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of Drůbežářský závod Klatovy a.s. during the period 2005-2009. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the economic situation of the corporation and find out its competitive strength. A part of the project is the methodology which qualifies concepts and indicators and creates bases for the practical part. In the practical part of the project horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss statement with comments are performed at first. The next section is dedicated to the working capital analysis and ratio indicators. After that follow Du Pont decomposition of return on equity, bankruptcy models such as Altman performance index, IN indexes and the intercompany comparison. In conclusion the results will be summarized and recommendations will be proposed for a potential improvement of the financial situation of the corporation.

Bachelor thesis evaluates the financial health of the KASKO corporation in the years 2005 - 2009. The first part presents the topic of this bachelor's thesis and the aim of the thesis. The theoretical part describes the financial analysis, its users and sources of information for financial analysis. It also deals with methodological apparatus, such as horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss report, as well as ratios of profitability, activity, liquidity, leverage and summary indexes of ratings, which include Du Pont decomposition of return on equity, Economic value added and Index IN 05. At the beginning the practical part characterizes analysis of the company and then devoted to applications of these instruments for KASKO corporation. In conclusion the results will be summarized and recommendations will be proposed for a potential improvement of the financial situation of the corporation.

This thesis is entitled "Financial Analysis of Staropramen Breweries, Inc." and its primary objective is to evaluate the financial health of the company. Secondly, the task is to compare with the leader in the Czech market, which is a Pilsner Urquell, Inc. The work is divided into two main parts. Theoretical and methodological part provides information about users for which the output of this work is useful, the resources and information necessary for financial analysis and explains the financial indicators and used models. The practical part is a brief description of the company Staropramen Breweries, Inc. and consequently the financial analysis of this company. Calculations are based on information from company annual reports in combination with established procedures in the theoretical part. The conclusion contains a summary of relevant information across financial analysis and a brief assessment.

Predictions of financial decline of a company through tools of financial analysis

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to test if the tools of financial analysis can be used to forecast bankruptcy of a firm. I selected firm Oděvní podnik a.s. to test the tools of financial analysis and also selected prediction models in time horizon of six years prior to beginning of insolvent process. I start with defining the concepts, indicators and models which I use in the second part to analyses the firm and I conclude with a complex summary of the results.

The subject of my bachelor thesis is financial analysis of the company Autosalon Dědek s.r.o. The work is composed of three parts. The first section deals with general findings and resources from the sphere of financial analysis, refers to indicators and methods which can be used for the evaluation of the financial standing. In the second part I introduce the company and automotive industry. After that follows practical part with the implementation of the factual analysis and the evaluation of the company. The conclusion summarizes the financial analysis and also suggests useful solution for successful improvement of the contemporary financial situation of the company.

Theoretical -- methodological part describes the functions of financial analysis, its users, resources of information and procedures used during the construction of particular instruments such as vertical and horizontal analysis of balance sheet, analysis of ratio indicators, analysis of working capital, value and bankruptcy models and economic value addend. Practical part begins with introduction of the company and is fallowed by application of introduced financial instruments. In conclusion the financial health of the company is summarized and the future development will be forecasted.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to assess the financial health of Pivovary Staropramen a. s. and see how the company was working from 2007 to 2009, which is based on methods and indicators used in financial analysis. The theoretical and methodological part provides basic information about the financial analysis, its resources and users. Furthermore, this section explains the different parameters and methods used to evaluate its management. Based on the formulas given in the theoretical and methodological part, the practical part evaluates and comments on the different parameters needed for evaluating the overall financial situation of the company and also the results are compared with those achieved by the competitors. The conclusion summarizes the results of the indicators and comments on the overall financial situation of the company and its management.
