Cryptanalysis using neural networks
Budík, Lukáš ; Mačák, Jaromír (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This dissertation deals with analysis of current side canal by means of neural network. First part describes basis of cryptografy and dilemma of side canal. In the second part is theoretickly described neural network and correlative analysis. Third part describes practical analysis of calibres of current side canals by means of classifier which uses neural network in Matlab surrounding. This classifier is confronted with classifier which uses correlative analysis.
Data Mining
Slezák, Milan ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on an introduction of data mining. Data mining is focused on finding of a hidden data correlation. Interest in this area is dated back to the 60th the 20th century. Data analysis was first used in marketing. However, later it expanded to more areas, and some of its options are still unused. One of methodologies is useful used for creating of this process. Methodology offers a concise guide on how you can create a data mining procedure. The data mining analysis contains a wide range of algorithms for data modification. The interest in data mining causes that number of data mining software is increasing. This thesis contains overviews some of this programs, some examples and assessment.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence and its comparison with classical identifications methods
Vaňková, Tereza ; Dokoupil, Jakub (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on the adaptive controllers. The first theoretic part mainly describes the parametric identification, which belongs to the most important part of the adaptive controller’s structure. Classical identification methods (the recursive least squares methods) are firstly mentioned and afterwards the identification methods based on the neural network (the Marquardt-Levenberg algorithm and the new identification algorithm NIA inspired by the neural networks) are described. At the conclusion of the theoretic part there are mentioned the algorithm of the adaptive controller’s tuning which uses the identification parameters (the modified Z-N method) and the tested types of adaptive controllers. Particular results, which were found out by verifying of the adaptive controllers on the simulation and real models, are contained in second, the practical, part of the thesis. Finally, achieved results are compared with the classical discrete PID controller and with the adaptive controller of the B&R company.
Smart distance measurement module for football robot
Neural networks in audio signal watermarking algorithms
Kaňa, Ondřej ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zezula, Radek (advisor)
Digital watermarking is a technique for digital multimedia copyright protection. The robustness and the imperceptibility are the main requirements of the watermark. This thesis deals with watermarking audio signals using artificial neural networks. There is described audio watermarking method in the DCT domain. Method is based on human psychoacoustic model and the techniques of neural networks.

Optimisation of a Voice Transmission in Communication Networks
Novák, David ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals abou the transmission of voice in communications networks. The theoretical part describes criteria for optimizing voice, such as quality of service, type of service, level of service, service type, and mean opinion score. Next I describe the Internet Protocol, comparing IPv4 and IPv6, VoIP, including security, protocols and parameters necessary for transmission. Other part is about neural networks. There are basically described the neural network, Hopfield neural network and Kohenen neural network. The research is based on a comparison of the network without ensuring the quality of service and with ensuring quality of service. Then, there are compared two types of switches. Classical switch-controlled sequentially, and switch controlled by neural networks. The overall simulation program is implemented in Opnet Modeler. The conclusion deals with the creation of laboratory tasks in this program to compare the different systems of ensuring quality of service.
Neural networks and evolutionary algorithms
Vágnerová, Jitka ; Rychtárik, Milan (referee) ; Hrubeš, Jan (advisor)
Objective of this master's thesis is optimizing of neral network topology using some of evolutionary algorithms. The backpropagation neural network was optimized using genetic algorithms, evolutionary programming and evolutionary strategies. The text contains an application in the Matlab environment which applies these methods to simple tasks as pattern recognition and function prediction. Created graphs of fitness and error functions are included as a result of this thesis.
Adaptive optimal controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Samek, Martin ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes adaptive optimal controller design and it’s settings. Identification with principles of artificial intelligence and recursive least squares identification with exponential and directional forgetting are compared separately and as part of controller. Adaptive optimal controller is tested on physical model and compared with solidly adjusted PSD controller. Possibilities of implementation of adaptive optimal controller into programmable logic controller B&R are show and tested.
