Comparison of roughing strategies in various CAM softwares

Bachelor’s thesis deals with roughing strategies especially with those included in chosen CAM software. The initial part states the common information about the effects on precision of machining and tool load. Next chapter deals with methods of machining and their resulting requirements on construction of the machine. It is followed by the description of new roughing strategies and their utilization; also roughing tools were selected for machining of specified models of mold parts, made of steel and aluminium alloy. In the practical part, roughing strategies were applied to stocks which were subsequently compared by the machining times.

Valvetrain of Compression-ignition Tractor Engine

This bachelor thesis deals with the main types and parts of the valvetrain systems of four-stroke engines. In the first part of the thesis are presented the most widely used versions of valvetrains and their use in the tractor engines. In the next part of the thesis is performed the construction and stress calculation of the valvetrain according to proposed proportions.

Realization of educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism

Bachelor's thesis is focused on solving educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism. The task of the educational problem is to teach students to analyse kinematic quantities of cam followers. The thesis contains general discourse on the topic of cam mechanisms and basic terms definition. This is followed by putting the device into service, eliminating its particular imperfections, analysis of kinematic quantities of various combinations of available cams and followers and definition of methodics of the educational problem. The educational problem itself follows the presentation and commentary of gained results. At last some recommendations for the future modifications of the experimental apparatus are given followed by foreshadow of its eventual future usage.

The device for measuring of camshafts timings

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on constructional concept of device for measuring of camshafts timing and its wear-out. After short introduction and definitions of basic concepts there are problems of cams design analyzed and overview of the commercially offered devices is mentioned. Next part focuses on construction of the proper device including design documentation. Procedure of measuring with the device and example of some data evaluation is described. In the conclusion I evaluated constructional and economic aspect the whole concept.

Analýza nábytkových CNC obráběcích center v návaznosti na vlastní návrh a výrobu prototypu nábytku uzpůsobeného pro výrobu na CNC

The diploma thesis at first deals with the analysis of furniture CNC machining centers, which leads to the selection of the most suitable machine for a specific company. Second part of the thesis is to design furniture that is adapted for production on the furniture CNC machining center. Coffee table is chosen for design and manufacturing. The thesis contains both a theoretical study of the problems of CNC manufactured table furniture and practical part which describes the process of selection a suitable machine for a specific company and also describes whole process of creating a new furniture. The creation itself is described from sketches through material selection, appropriate joints to the prototype manufacturing. Coffee table which is designed and manufactured contains component, which is used in the design of dining and work table.

Návrh nábytkového prvku vhodného pro CNC výrobu

This dissertation deals with the design of conversation chair intended for production on CNC machines. It contains not only a study of the theory of the given issues, but also a practical part describing procedures during problem solving. It includes also a public opinion survey aimed at sitting furniture. The concept of the construction of chair is based on its disassembling qualities. This requires a creation of concept of a suitable joint and its testing on samples. As a conclusion a prototype of the final design of the conversation chair is made, which is evaluated on the basis of the fulfillment of the goals demanded.

Procedures and methods in CAM systems with a focus on the SprutCAM and control code Sinumeric

In the opening part of this work, there are done the basic principals of the CAM systems, fitting of their using in practice and mutual comparison of these systems. Further, there is done using of the CAM system StrutCAM, acquaintance with its service, adjusting, practical advices and samples of the controlling of the Sinumeric systém of Siemens. Conclusion of this work creates the summary of knowledge of practice and experience of the CAM systém which is used in three-axle milling cutter and two-axle lathe.
