The impact of the program LEADER in the region of LAG Království – Jestřebí hory, o.p.s.

First part of this theses deals with theoretical knowledge about local action group (LAG), their way of functioning, strategical documents and project management within the life cycle of LAG projects. On the other hand it introduces a theory about monitoring project, monitoring indicators and setting their in and out values. Second, practical, part of two the theses has also two spectrums. First part alleges from data collected during monitoring projects in LAG Království Jestřebí hory o.p.s. Data are focused at most on fulfilling monitoring indicators during last program period in between 2007 and 2013 and they are summed up as a recommendation for the new programming period. Programming period 2014 and 2020 has so far introduced a new method of setting up indicators, which is also described in this theses, including the restrictions that LAG has to deal with. Practical part is ended by commentary on setted values and their actual possibility of fullfillment in real life. The entire theses ends the final summery in which the author states her own reccomendations and tips regarding the setting or evaluation of monitoring indicators.

The possibilities of using local recipes (a case study of one rural locality) Podorlicka

This diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of using local, traditional and unusual recipes in the region of Podorlicko and if this recipes can get through the menus in the local restaurants. The thesis is divided into two main sections, the theoretical and the practical one. The first part concentrates on theoretical background, basic information about food and gastronomy in general, how globalization affects the development of the regions, on the sustainability of farming in the regions, on the innovations, on the theory of transition, the brief history about Czech gastronomy and Czech cooking books as well. It also mentions one of the most famous Czech cook of the 19th century of Mrs. Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová who in Podorlicko especially in Rychnov nad Kněžnou spent the best part of her life and wrote here a cook book which was called Domácí kuchařka aneb pojednání o masitých a postních pokrmech pro dcery české a moravské. This book became a bestseller of the 19th century and was published for another following 100 years.
The second part, the practical one represents a sociological research which was conducted through a several research techniques such as questionnaire survey, study of documents, interview and focus group. By using these techniques were investigated information concerning the collection of special and traditional recipes for this area Podorlicko, if residents of Podorlicko know these kinds of recipes, if these recipes can be offered on the menus in local restaurants, if the owners of the restaurants could be willing to offer these kinds of dishes on the menus more frequently than before.

The inspection activity of the municipal trade office in Mladá Boleslav

This masters thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of inspection activities of the Municipal Trade Licence Office in Mladá Boleslav.
In the theoretical part of the thesis, an analysis of the legal regulation of inspection activities as of June 30, 2015 is made.
The empirical part of the thesis deals with the process of inspection and comparison of the procedures of the individual phases of inspection pursuant to Act No. 552/1991 Coll., on state inspection, and Act No. 255/2012 Coll., on inspection (Inspection Code). It further describes practical experience as well as the problems that the inspection workers of the Municipal Trade Licence Office had to deal with in the course of administrative activities in connection with the amendment of Inspection Code.
In addition, the thesis deals with a questionnaire survey while its evaluation brings the answers to the question how business entities perceive inspection surveys conducted with regard to their business activities.
For the reason of comprehensiveness, the development in the number of business entities in the administrative district of the administrative authority, number of inspection surveys conducted, their focus, and possible sanctions, are documented, monitored in the period of last 10 years.
The work concludes with the summary of inspection activities from the point of view of the Municipal Trade Licence Office in Mladá Boleslav as well as from the point of view of business entities.

Sustainability projects in Regional operational programme NUTS II Northeast

The diploma thesis deals with the issues of sustainability of projects financed
by the Northeast Regional Operational Programme NUTS II (ROP Northeast). The aim
of the thesis is to establish whether the recipients of subsidies of this programme face problems connected with provision of this projects sustainability. The subsequent interim goal, as long as such problems exist, is to propose specific measures that would reduce
their incidence.
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the evolution of regional policies
in the European area and in the Czech Republic and puts the ROP Northeast into context
of these policies and of their application tools.
The practical part deals with ROP Northeast, its basic documents, institutional provision, focus and the aims of the programme including the allocation level designated for individual priority axes. Further it pursues the project cycle phases with a detailed analysis of the project sustainability phase and of the data about ROP Northeast implementation. This part is followed by inquiry made with the employees of the territorial inspection department of The Regional Council and with the recipients of the subsidies from the ROP Northeast, processing and analysis of acquired data and a proposal
of specific measures resulting from the conclusions of the inquiry with the recipients.
Thus the thesis gains its crucial importance, i.e. a possibility of an actual application
of the gained knowledge in practice.

Management Accounting as a Source of Information in a Chosen Company

The aim of the thesis was to develop theoretical solutions for managerial accounting issues such as information sources, the application of these findings to the conditions at R s.r.o. through analysis of its current situation, subsequent evaluation of problem areas, and to offer solution recommendations.
The document itself is divided into six sections. The first section consists of an introduction, and the second defines the goal and methodology.
The document then presents an analysis of managerial accounting issues based on studies of scholarly literature.
The fourth section describes the characteristics of the accounting entity, its activities, and its organisational structure. This is followed by an analysis of selected accounting items and financial indicators. The next section deals with the current status of the thesis topic, a cost-benefit analysis, calculations, and budgets.
In the fifth section, the results of the proposed recommendations are evaluated, followed by a conclusion.

Debt collection in legal theory and practice

This diploma work focuses on the issue of debt collection via deductions from pension payments. The theoretical part analyses the legal conditions for this type of debt collection and defines the terms related to it. The first chapters focus in general on financial literacy and the development of the system of deductions from wages. In the following chapters, based on analysis of legislation and description, the legal basis of deductions from wages is mapped, along with the calculation of the amount of deductions seized based on distraint orders and changes to the payer of income during the enforcement of a decision. The other sections of the work focus on insolvency and the recipient payers retirement in the event of deductions. The practical part presents a comparison of analysed data about the development of the number of pensions, the average amount of pensions and pensions affected by deductions seized based on distraint orders, and details are compared about the amount of income achieved during economic life and in retirement. Then the particular issues in the Czech Republic and Slovakia are compared through examination of their basic characteristics. Based on the authors own observation, the final part of the document contains suggestions of possible solutions that would reduce the number of pensions affected by asset seizure.

Obstacles at work from the legal and economic point of view

The diploma thesis concentrates on work obstacles institute and is divided into two parts. The first part contains a brief summary of legislation, which is based on data collecting and information gathering from legal regulations, professional publications and internet sources, focused on issues concerning work obstacles from the point of an employee and from an employer. The practical part deals with practical application of the obstacles at work from legal and economical point of view. The practical part consists of the issues of application, approval, permitting, usage and refunding such obstacles at work of the employer and analysis of obstacles arising in relation with the institute application by an employee. In this section part of the thesis methods of direct observation, internal documents analysis and last but not least semi-structured interviews with company managers were used. The result is a practical approach to legislation and economic impact in the analyzed company.

Proposal for strategic development of business subject

The aim of this diploma thesis is to define the business strategy of chosen company from the Czech Republic, the company Decci and its future development on the African continent. The particular analysis are based on the gathered data of 2 planned investment projects of expansion into Namibia and Zambia. The aim of these analysis was to discover the weak and strong parts in those projects, to define possible opportunities but also all the risks which may be caused by the specific conditions of African continent. The results of this thesis should broaden the existing document portfolio of different analysis, which have been done by the company so far and should help to make well-founded decision regarding to the expansion on Namibian and Zambian energy market.
This diploma thesis is composed of 2 main parts. The first part is describing the theory of strategic management, the business management theory and the theory of investment, which are the theoretical ground for the other parts of this thesis. The practical part starts with the brief characteristic of the chosen company Decci a.s., describing its history, recent projects, future visions and its management structure. This introduction is followed by the evaluation of 2 investment projects of expansion in the chosen locations, which has been done by using different strategic analysis. At the end of the practical part, there is a financial evaluation of planned projects which should be used as a summary of each project, conditions for its financing and the level of its profitability.
In conclusion, the particular strategies are formulated as results of strategic analysis and thereafter it is chosen the more beneficial investment project. The thesis is concluded by certain recommendations, which may be taken into consideration before the start of investing activities and also for the successful company development on the African continent.

Study - Regulatory Plan Strakonice - Podskalí

The thesis deals with territorial development management using valid territorial planning tools. The goal is to ensure an adequate form of sustainable development for the town of Strakonice. For this purpose a territorial study of the Podskali location in the town of Strakonice was completed.
Searches are compiled in the first part of the bachelor thesis on the topic of territorial studies and legislative regulation plans.
The next part is focused on thorough studies of valid territorial planning documentations, territorial planning foundations and documentsstrategies concerning Strakonice. Moreover, a personal research of a worked upon territorial study was done.
The next step processes three possible scenarios for the development of the town. Furthermore, criteria for work proposal evaluations were stated. These criteria were selected by past studies of current tools of territorial and strategic plans for the town of Strakonice.
Based on the evaluations of work proposals a final proposal of territorial study, for the developmental area Strakonice in the location of Podskali, is created. This proposal serves, furthermore, as a foundation for further creation of regulatives in this developmental area, in detail, corresponding to the appendix no. 11 of bill no. 500/2006 of the collection in its current version.

An analysis of land fund of Domažlice district

This thesis analyzes the land in Domažlice. In this border region is experiencing significant changes in land use and thus to changes in the structure of the landscape. The work focuses mainly on the protection of soil and landscape structure in that region. It deals with not only trends in land, but the whole system of processes that changes in land fund raises. Therefore, it is also engaged in the wider context of spilling over into other areas.
In the introductory section readers outlines the social significance of soil and land resources, but also the landscape and its structure. The following describes some of the processes that occur in the country, including their impact. The following section is devoted to real estate records (katastrům), their importance and fundamental historical changes in the register of real estate. He also records of agricultural land. Subsequently also describes factors that affect the status of the land fund of the Czech Republic, including state policy and the European Union. There is described a land market and the price of land in the Czech environment. The whole chapter is concluded by a brief description of the historical development until now. The literature search should provide an overall view of issues, including relations with adjoining areas.
Another part is devoted to the identified region Domažlice. There are analyzed the conditions and diversity of this region and its historical development, because only with such knowledge can achieve an objective assessment of the issue. It also established a methodology for the job.
Part of the results is devoted to the results of background and results of individual investigations, which are in the following section compared with current scientific knowledge and partly to the socially accepted attitude.
The conclusion summarizes the results of this thesis and provided the achievement of hypotheses that have been identified in the introductory part. There are also problems outlined and possibly offered the best solution. Part of the annex is devoted to image the documents, which illustrate the text part.
