Security and Performance Analysis of Avalanche Distributed Consensus Protocol
Experimenty so simulátorom boli vykonané s rôznymi parametrami a pomohli nám pochopiť vlastnosti Avalanche.
Data archiving using blockchain technology
Řihánek, Tobiáš ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Člupek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This thesis dealt with the issue of data archiving. The aim was to explore the possibilities of using blockchain technology to address the security aspects of digital archiving, and then to design and implement an application that uses blockchain to secure data integrity. First, a theoretical analysis of both archiving and blockchain technology was conducted. Next, a web application was designed that uses this technology to detect integrity breaches. Based on the design, a system consisting of a web application written in JavaScript and an archiving application and a validation application written in Java was implemented. These applications communicate with each other and create a secure archiving system using blockchain. The functionality of the system was demonstrated and its security was tested.
Decentralized E-Voting on Solana Blockchain
Virtual Currencies
Mlýnková, Veronika ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of virtual currencies based on the blockchain technology. The foundations of the cryptocurrency workings are explained on cryptocurrency Bitcoin, which is later described in a greater detail from technological point of view. In addition to the general workings of a bitcoin network, this thesis describes creation of bitcoin addresses, the composition of transactions and the way they are sign and verified. A broader view of cryptocurrencies is offered within the fourth chapter, with the classification into generations and explanation of terms coin, token and stable coin. Chapter Ethereum explains the meaning of smart contracts and decentralized applications. Within the thesis a laboratory task was performed, which describes the procedure for programming a simplified version of blockchain in Python. To summarize the discussed topic, an educational web application was created.
Využitie blockchainu pre ověrenie dát v rámci konceptu metaverza
Gono, Andrej
The thesis deals with the design and creation of a solution for data verifi- cation and storage via blockchain. It also discusses how data can be stored and transmitted in a virtual metaverse environment, and whether blockchain can be used in this area. The work includes an extensive analysis of existing solutions and trends in this area. The concept of metaverse is treated rather theoretically in the thesis. The practical part of the thesis deals with the implementation of an application for data storage and verification using blockchain, which mainly focuses on user-friendliness and speed.

Blockchain and copyright
Novotný, Martin ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
1 Blockchain and copyright Abstract The purpose of this Thesis is to familiarize the reader with the phenomenon of blockchain, both technically and legally, and then to describe the points of intersection of the sets of this phenomenon with copyright law, especially the copyright law of the Czech Republic. The first and second chapters of the Thesis focus on introducing the reader to the blockchain (especially in its technical aspect) and on defining important institutes of copyright law, both in general and regarding the Czech legislation. In the third chapter, the thesis focuses on the assessment of the applicability of certain copyright institutes to the blockchain, particularly its possible regulation as a quasi-work under Section 2(2) of the Copyright Act. The following chapter follows this intersection of blockchain and copyright law with a deeper analysis of NFTs, as this is the area of blockchain most often in contact with copyright law. Considerable attention is paid to assessing whether NFTs can be considered a copyright work. The fifth chapter of the Thesis is devoted to the emerging phenomenon of the metaverse, in particular the definition of its typology. Subsequently, certain points of contact between the metaverse, blockchain and copyright are set out, where this interpretation is followed by...
