The absolute I and the conception of knowledge in the philosophy of J. G. Fichte
Kollert, Lukáš ; Karásek, Jindřich (advisor) ; Landa, Ivan (referee)
This bachelor thesis outlines basic features of object-consciousness and tries to show that it must be grounded in a "consciousness" of another type, which doesn't have the structure (non-identity of subject and object) characteristic for the consciousness of an object. The pre- reflective relation of the self to itself or immediate "consciousness" of the self is identified as a basis enabling self-(re)cognition in reflexion. The next step puts forward one of reasons to ascribe this relation of the self to itself to the self-positing absolute I (here the absence of subject-object difference is typical). The fourth chapter addresses questions concerning the possibility to explain the object-consciousness and the presence of manifold in the I from the standpoint of unlimited and self-identical absolute I. It further distinguishes several forms of realism and idealism rejected by Fichte himself and follows the course leading to Fichte's own position, i. e. real-idealism or ideal-realism. Finally, the text discusses in detail the concept of "check" (Anstoß), which is understood as one of the key concepts of the early science of knowledge. Key words: Fichte, science of knowledge, self-consciousnes, object-consciousness, absolute I, check, idealism, realism, sensation, reflection
Creative Confidence
Blechová, Eva ; CHRZ, Vladimír (advisor) ; ČUNDERLE, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the desire to create and how can the individual?s thinking about himself help to increase or decrease this desire, to keep it alive or let it die. In the tradition of qualitative research, I have conducted twenty-six semistructured interviews with creators and teachers of creative, in particular theatrical, disciplines. I analyse these interviews and propose classifications and models. These models are combined with my own experience as a creator and as a teacher, with relevant literature as well as with my own creative writing. Given the selected methodology, the text does not aspire to provide overall generalisation, but rather shows some principles that can be inspirational for creators and their teachers.

ON THE STAGE, OR BEHIND, IT IS ME. OTHERWISE I DO NOT ACT
Páleníková, Soňa ; MAZÚCH, Branislav (advisor) ; TEJNOROVÁ, Petra (referee)
On the stage, or behind, it is me. Otherwise I do not act; Participation of personal character in authentic acting, master?s thesis, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Theatrefaculty, Prague 2014, 58 pages. In her master?s thesis, the author reflects on the question of definition of authenticity, authentic expression in acting and participation of personal character in the work of actor. After teoretic introduction about interpretation of the Authenticity, the paper is devided to four parts. In these author draws mainly from her personal experiences during studies. In the first part author focuses on her experiences, which are the roots of her natural expression in acting. In the next part, using four plays, author describes acting style, which requires personal approach and personal experiences from an actor. In the third chapter, she examines the process from a different point of view, using the stylized acting example. Three discussions follow, with professional actors who accepted to answer questions regarding this subject.
THE PHYSICAL ACTOR
Menšík, Marek ; TEJNOROVÁ, Petra (advisor) ; MIKEŠ, Vladimír (referee)
The actor is flesh and bones. The actor uses the body throughout his career. He needs it for communicating. To be able to play. In this thesis the author returns to his professional experiences which led him to deeper understand a physicality of an actor and to think about a possibility of physical expression and being on stage. This knowledge the author demonstrates on Erasmus Internship in Barcelona, on completed shows and workshops and private work outside the theatre. He contemplates not only how the body can talk to the audience, but also how an actor should approach his body and how he should take care about it.
Gender differences in competitiveness in the case of distance runners in the Czech Republic
Kouklík, Jakub ; Stroukal, Dominik (advisor) ; Tříska, Dušan (referee)
Contemporary literature says that women are less competitive than men. In this thesis I find out if this is the case even in an environment of elite Czech distant runners. Statistical and econometric methods applied to the data from the years 2006-2013 reveal significant differences between the sexes across all distances from 1 500 meters to marathon. These are the highest in the longest distances when Czech men run marathons five times faster than Czech women. Furthermore, I show that the gender gap in competitiveness remains constant on the track races, but in the road racing is declining. And because the acceleration among women occurs primarily in the lower ranks of the elite, it is concurrently valid "biological-predisposition" hypothesis, which is based on a constant differences between men and women due to biological differences, and "economic-incentive" hypothesis, according to which the differences is decreasing due to increasing returns of success in the form of the same financial rewards for winning. Completely fastest women act according to the first-mentioned, next best female runners according to the second. Finally, I suggest that growing quantity of women in road races plays substantial role in the women's approaching to men.

Conscious development of the role as a condition foe acting self-confidence
Krejsová, Klára ; KUDLÁČKOVÁ, Jana (advisor) ; HLAVÁČOVÁ, Jana (referee)
The title of the submitted diploma work is Conscious development of the role as a condition for acting self-confidence. It is divided into 4 sections, 6 chapters and 10 subchapters. While writing it, I drew on my own experience and feelings; I quoted from properly denoted resources and authors. The aim of the work is not academic research, but rather some kind of classification of what I have learned during my studies at DAMU ? Academy of Performing Arts and what experience I have lived through. In the introduction the focus is on the difficulty of describing writing about acting and about reasons for the choice of the topic. In the next parts of the text I analyze my own feelings and experience gained during rehearsing various performances with various directors. I attempt to describe the circumstances that influence actor´s self-confidence and the relation between the personal self-esteem and the one of the actor. In the conclusion of my diploma work I express the belief that I am entering the acting world well equipped as for both the academic knowledge and acquired skills.
Perception of Ideal Beauty
Ticháková, Zuzana ; Zamazalová, Marcela (advisor) ; Skokanová, Dagmar (referee)
Media broadcast every day a huge number of signals and messages that affect us, without we are aware of them. In most cases it is about a distorted reality, which seems like real reality. This, from my point of view, affect the self-confidence of current women - with a different hair colour, skin colour, with different proportions. When they are facing perfection that the media present, they feel mean and unhappy with their bodies. By analyzing data from a marketing database and created questionnaire I will try to confirm this hypothesis. In conclusion then I will propose procedures that could reduce these negative impacts or at least reduce them. It is necessary to extend the idea of real beauty and displace untouchable perfection, on which responds still younger girls. Looking back to past, we discover that before Twiggy had become famous, was respected the exact opposite of female beauty. She was the one, who started an endless hunt for the extreme slimness, which brought problems with eating disorders.
