Linux VPN Performance and Optimization

Tato práce se zabývá analýzou stávajících a aktivních VPN řešení,  jejich výkonu a slabých stránek. Výsledkem práce je jaderný modul pro Linux, který implementuje datový přenos pomocí protokolů TLS a DTLS na základě konfigurace ustanoveného spojení v chráněném režimu. Primárním cílem bylo odstranit datové kopie a změny kontextu z chráněného režimu do režimu jádra během datových přenosů ve VPN řešeních založených na protokolech  TLS a DTLS. Práce analyzuje cenu těchto operací a na základě analýz lokalizuje další kroky nutné k využití implementovaného jaderného modulu ve VPN řešeních. Práce se dále zabývá analýzou dalších možných využití implementovaného jaderného modulu mimo VPN řešení.
Dungeon Lords Board Game

In this work I am describing transformation board game Dungeon lords into computer game. Computer version of the game will have the same rules as board version.Final build of the game allows network playing, saving of game and loading of the saved game. During development of the game is aviable only board version. In documentation I describe steps of developing and also rules of the game. In the end is described the way of testing and also revieling of bugs and their repair. Projet was created in C# language in MS Visual Studio 2010. To creation of GUI is used WDF technique.

Bachelory work is a corner-stone for project which employs itself with playing board games via internet. It outlines some of board games issues and for a fraction of them is designed a system that stands on an application protocol called BGame which was created for that purpose. Th e Chess has been chosen as a testing game. Whole implementation is on Java platform.
System for Recording Video from IP Videocameras

This diploma thesis focuses on multimedia streaming from IP cameras. Its main goal is to explain theoretical background of real-time streaming via computer networks, and describe development of a recording system. This recording system is meant to be used mainly in schools for lecture recording purposes. The thesis contains description on how a recording server application and web-based management system were developed. The theoretical part explains topics related to multimedia streaming, networking, and multimedia procesing, such as real-time streaming protocols, encoding, compression, network latency, network congestion and many others.
NETWORKS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN BIOTECHNOLOGY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

This doctoral thesis deals with some problems related to networking and network relationships of small and medium biotechnological enterprises (SME) in the Czech Republic. In the introduction of the doctoral thesis there is networks‘ character, their development and specification presented. The contemporary situation of “big and strong“ is compared with the situation of small and medium enterprises and advantages ensued from memebership are presented. In the theoretical part of this doctoral thesis, there is the analysis of the actual scientific research of small and medium enterprises made up. Their influence in economics is described in detail and the influence of globalisation on small and medium enterprises is presented. Since the small and medium enterprises form the basis of this thesis, contemporary situation in the world as well as research and development in the Czech Republic is mentioned. These research and development are followed by the information about small-and-medium-enterprises-networking and its division, assumptions and reasons for joining the networks or elements, that affect the cooperation of small and medium with the big enterprises. Pieces of knowledge of networking in the world literature gained from foreign literature sources are described in this part. Typology of networks is specified, divided by its purpose, direction and other criteria and notes and quotations of the authors dealing with networs are shown. The word cluster and its characteristics, division and its advantages were explained. In the practical part of the doctoral thesis there are some ideas formulated, according to conclusions of the scientific research of small and medium biotechnological enterprises in the Czech Republic and after that there is presented, how the Czech enterprises join shared projects on the vertical or horizontal level or with research institutes or universities. These results are consequently compared with scientifis studies from abroad. Some practical recommendations about using of these pieces of knowledge for contemporary small and medium biotechnological enterprises are formulated according to these results. Before conclusion there are some scientific and practical gains of the doctoral thesis, including gains for pedagogical work.
Coworking – Present Theory and Practice Based on the Examples of Specific Centres and their Users

The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the entire topic from the broad perspective created namely by foreign publications. Then the thesis presents the theories of two American sociologists whose conclusions represent the anticipation of the subject analysed here. This is followed by the definition of coworking and its brief history, the perspectives on it that management has adopted by comparing coworking to clusters as defined by Michael Porter. The purpose of the practical part of the thesis is to describe the functioning of coworking in real life situations, this from the perspective of the managers (or owners) of coworking centres, and their users. The data was obtained by quality and quantitative research, namely by multicase analysis and questionnaires data analysis. Individual chapters of the thesis describe conclusions reached from this research. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the most important facts and results obtained by the research, it also confirms the hypothesis which was the basis of the thesis.
Personal branding and it’s position in networking

This Master's Thesis focuses on the role of personal networks and importance of its use in business development. It details the role of personal branding in networking. There are two main sources of research used in the work: financial and business data of 10 networking clubs based in Prague as well as the collected information from in-depth interviews with the entrepreneurs. Analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data enable the author to draw correlation between the elements of the personal brand and its effects on the results of networking.

The thesis topic is "Possibilities of Textile Materials in Practical Activities Subject in Primary School". The theoretical part is focused on the historical origin and evolution of textiles, summary of textile techniques, sorting and its use mainly with pupils in the primary school. It also deals with project based learning and conceptions, objects and competences of a pupil in the primary school in technical education in czech system of Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education. In the practical part there are designed textile techniques that are processed into the original teaching projects. The functionality of the project was detected by using questionnaires for teachers of primary school. Some of the projects were realized in teaching in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the primary school.
Networking of non-profit organizations

This work deals with networking activities and communication of non-profit organizations and their representatives with external subjects. Networking is a strategic tool, which NGOs can use to make contacts and get new opportunities. As well as in the private sector non-profit organizations must deal with many obstacles. Most often it is a lack of resources. Due to lack of funds non-profit organizations cannot afford to employ experts. Therefore we can see that non-profit organizations struggle with a certain amount of unprofessionalism. They lack the strategy and they do not have set organizational processes. Communication with external subjects or networking activities are not an exception. This has been fully compensated with their energy and enthusiasm. Employees of non-profit organizations are not motivated financially but by doing a good thing. The study shows that employees of non-profit organizations are interested in new trends, what networking undoubtedly is.
Establishment of a coworking center in ČB

The master thesis is focusing on coworking centres that are very popular these days. The main goal is to create a realistic business plan that is describing an establishment of a coworking centre in Ceske Budejovice. The first part is focusing on several analysis. Analysis of coworking centres in the CR, analysis of the competition in CB, SWOT analysis and an online research can be found there. The practical part of the thesis covers the business plan. The plan includes information about the whole concept, about the way of managing the centre and also information about the main activities and offered services. Important part of the business plan is focusing on potential customers and marketing communication. The end is dedicated to the calculations of incomes and expenses.
