Building a 3D Printer
Škop, Martin ; Klepárník, Petr (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyse available options for 3D printing using FDM technology according to requests of cooperating company, to propose several drafts of electronical and software parts of 3D printers. This also includes their connection, functionality testing and implementation of one chosen draft. The core of this Bachelor thesis was to document the progress in building the 3D printer and also to solve arisen problems. The result of this Bachelor thesis is practical realisation of electronic part of 3D printer including basical tests. Secondary benefit of this Bachelor thesis is to explain the issue of 3D printing with the option of building custom 3D printer from PiBot components.
Use of cell phone in liquids analysis
Křístek, Tomáš ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
Technological development, broad availability and ubiquity of mobile phones made it possible in recent years to start a progression leading to the integration of mobile phones into biomedical analytical methods, the development of telemedicine and mobile personal health applications. This paper deals with the literature review of the mobile phone usage in biomedicine, with emphasis on the methods of optical analysis and technical solutions using 3D printing technology. It provides a draft and practical implementation of salivary cortiol level measuring system using a mobile phone, ELISA analytical methods, 3D printing technology and a set of custom Matlab functions connected with Matlab Mobile application and Mathworks Cloud. Also provides critical evaluation of results and method possibilities, and presents set of proposals and findings for quality of measurment optimization.
Prototype of exhaustion housing for CNC milling machine on FDM 3D printer
Žižlavský, Marek ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Project dissertate about manufacturing of prototype of exhaustion CMC milling machine. It was choose method on FDM 3D printer. Material of printing is PLA. Parameters of printing are layer height 0.25 mm and temperature of extruder 210 °C. Time of printing was 3.25 hours.
Design of atypical heated bed for 3D printer
Strnad, Jan ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with an atypical heated bed for FDM 3D printer. It presents the most commonly used ways of heating and the chosen variant of the heated beds are realized by powerful resistors. There are also discussed three ways of placement of resistors on the desktop motherboards that are modeled in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2016 and exported to Autodesk Fusion 360, where FEM calculations are made. Optimal alternative is made and tested. The test results are compared with the results of thermal simulations in Autodesk Fusion 360.
Development and production of low cost and environment interaction robot
Tejchmanová, Michaela ; Kolíbal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and productions of low-cost robot used for presentation and marketing purposes of companies CUTTER Systems spol. s r.o. and N-ROTE Mechanical s r.o. The main task of this robot is to serve beverages into glass containers.
Production Process of Model of Holder Using Additive Technology of Rapid Prototyping
Ivančic, Marek ; Zouhar,, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The bacherol thesis is focused on approach of design and production of the model GPS holder with using additive technology Rapid Prototyping. The design is created in parametric Autodesk Inventor programme and next production is realized with utilizing manufacturing machine Fortus 400, which generates products on the principle of additive method of Fused Deposition Modeling. The thesis also consists of characterize and practical applications of additive technology Rapid Prototyping inclusive of the most used methods and materials of the technology. In the end of the thesis it´s accomplished technical – economic valorization of the GPS holder and comparing the production costs, which would have spent at other organizations.
Design of dual hot-end for FDM 3D printer
Prouza, Tomáš ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on a research in the field of 3D printing technology. During the research a particular technology, being regularly applied by the RepRap printers, is described. Mentioned technology is tested on a Rebel II printer model. The findings are applied to the dual 3D extruder design project. This dual 3D extruder is designed and made in two basic options, where the first option discovers the shortcomings and the second option is modified and tested. In the following step, assessment of applicability, functionality, as well as economic analysis of production of this dual 3D extruder is made.
The Production using 3D Printing of Fixture for Shaping Plastic Pipes
Tretera, Robin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis compares two options in production of shaping form for plastic pipe - handmade production versus 3D print technology (specifically DMLS method). The thesis contains detail description of the final part and shaping form with pros and cons of both production methods. Handmade production is more suitable for serial production with its lower price. In time pressure 3D printing comes up with its fast and repeatable results.
Two-stage Gearbox 3D Printing
Truksa, Ondřej ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is creation of two-stage gearbox by method of 3D printing. For the creation of basic computer model has been used software Autodesk Inventor Professional. Final model has been created by method of Fused Deposition Modelling, on device uPrint SE.
Technological Process of Security Key
Bouše, Richard ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis dealing with the technological process of a security key to the cylinder lock. In the thesis, there is a brief description of the lock and key history and development. Development is described from the first appearance of the primitive wooden locks to the invention of the modern cylindrical lock. In the technological process there are proposed and calculated basic parameters of manufacturing. Process is elaborated for all steps. From cutting a key blank to final product check. Subject of the thesis is also an attempt to substitute conventional technological process with the modern method of 3D printing.
