The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Supply Chain of the Pharmaceutical Company Sandoz s.r.o.". The main aim is the analysis of logistics processes of the company and suggestions for improvement or streamlining of individual parts of the complex. The work is divided in two parts -- theoretical and practical. In the first part I focus on introducing the topic of logistics and its importance, specifications of the pharmaceutical market and typical features of logistics in this field. In the second part the company Sandoz and the companies cooperating in the supply chain are introduced. Furthermore, I describe the physical transport of goods, interconnection via information systems and financial flows.

The valuation of PHOENIX lékárenský velkoobchod a.s. company

The main goal of this master's thesis is to estimate a value of company PHOENIX lékárenský velkoobchod a.s. the largest pharmaceutical distributor in the Czech Republic as of 31st January of 2014. Information regarding the value of the company is utilized by the management of the company. First part of this thesis serves as theoretical summary of used analytical technics. The second and the most important part of this thesis focuses on estimation of the value of the company, to analyse its position on the czech market, to analyze its financial health and to prepare actual financial plan. The primary method used for evaluation of the company is free cash flow to the firm. In order to present suitable comparison, Economic Value Added method is used as well.

Reverse logistics and its application in Becker Bohemia

The thesis is inquiring into theory of reverse logistics, its processes are demonstrated on the example of the company Becker Bohemia s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to define the position and function of reverse logistics in supply chain and its description on the basis of activities of a company that deals with waste collection. The research is divided into 3 theoretical chapters and one practital chapter. The theoretical part introduces the selected topic. The practical part presents Becker Bohemia s.r.o. at first, followed by a description of its technical base and the processes handling with different types of waste. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to an analysis of the grounds of the company.

Reverse Logistics in Food Supply Chains

For better understanding of the meaning of reverse logistics it is necessary to analyse and describe its function in a real company. In this case, the company Kaufland ČR, v. o. s. is used to fulfil these tasks. The main objective of the presented thesis is to analyse the function of reverse logistics in the company and to compare the findings with theoretical knowledge; alternatively, to try to suggest some innovations in the company.

This work is focused on the system of logistics of individual supply chains, there is the comparison of relevant indicators and finally there are determined critical factors, suggestions and recommendations.

Optimization of inventory management system in selected company

The main objectives of this thesis are analysis of change in inventory management system in the selected company and propose measures to reduce the financial capital tied up in inventories and an increase of the service level. Several recommendations that could lead to optimization of inventory, while maintaining or even improving the service level were generated based on the analysis.

The thesis describes material and information flow in the supply chain, including determination of key factors for successful implementation of chosen technologies. A part of the thesis deals with the proposal for a change in the way of preparing orders for customers of independent market, including stating of expected costs and savings when realizing the proposal.

Humanitarian logistics

The Thesis is focused on non-traditional application of logistics on humanitarian aid, because it is inseperable part of the foreign policy of each country. The theoretical part is devoted to basic definitions of both sectors. The practical part of thesis presents schemes of supply chains of czech humanitarian aid. The aim is to characterize the process of supply chain in the sphere of humanitarian aid in the Czech republic and out of its territory with two case studies (the flood in Novojičínsko and disaster in Japan). Then the author can compare processes of giving humanitarian aid in the Czech republic and out of it, also the author can suggest recommendation fot better future and underline weaknesses, which this logistics system has.
