Factors Affecting the Profesion Development of the Head of DDM and SVČ in the Pardubice region

This thesis deals with a topic that factors influencing the professional development of school principals. Its aim is to determine the quantitative and qualitative research which factors and to what extent the professional development of directors house of children and youth and leisure centers (the DDM and SVČ) in the Pardubice region influence. The core issue is the continuing education of directors DDM and SVČ, whether in their professional development in further education. The thesis also includes a six-year term of office, which can have a significant impact on the professional development of directors of DDM and SVČ. Research suggests that the Director of SVC and DDM most important factor that affects their professional development, continuing education. The research results are used in the field of school management and management education as an extension of knowledge about the work of the directors of DDM and SVČ and their professional development, which is negatively and positively influenced by various factors. Future of Leisure Centres in Decin

This Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of extracurricular education in Decin. The goal of the thesis is to find out whether the conditions for providing extracurricular education in leisure time centres can influence the future of leisure time centres. Another goal of the thesis is to map and analyse the offer ot extracurricular activities in leisrue time centres and basic schools. The theoretical part is based on literature, laws, regulations and available resources about leisure time and leisure time centres in other countries. The research part deals with the offer and the conditions for the implementation of leisure assets. The population of respondents was chosen among children and parents. Selected sample comes from a group of people participating in extracurricular education for children and youth in educational institutions in Decin. The contribution of the thesis is recognition of the conditions which influence the choice of extracurricular activities from the point of view of children and their parents and the importance of the activities for their children.

Student Slang of Primary and Secondary Schools - origin, development, comparison

This dissertation primarily describes the origin and development of slang, further it examines the issue of sociolinguistics, it is also concerned in the field of social background of students of primary and secondary schools with regards to slang terminology of these, and it assesses this relationship afterwards. At first, the dissertation acquaints with the development of language as such, consequently discusses standard and non-standard language, and informal language into which argot, professional language and above mentioned slang can be included. Based on this point of view, the piece of work concerns the concept of slang in Czech literature as well as in foreign literature, the constitutive features of slang, the most traditional methods of formatting slang expressions, and it mentions the issue of social dialectology. Besides, the thesis is focused on sociolinguistics' branches, especially it treats sociolinguistics as a science not quite definable. Air quality at school

(EN) Thesis describes air quality in schools, its main factors of interest and according to the longitudinal study it suggests possible solutions for improvement. The study had been done in Kladská elementary school, Prague, Czech Republic, based on the findings obtained from the initial literature review. Although many scientific papers have been published mainly during last decade, there is a very limited amount of information concerning this issue within a longer timescale and a complex point of view is missing. The school environment was chosen because children are one of the groups at higher risk when adverse health effects caused by inadequate indoor air quality are evaluated. Aerosol particles and carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and relative humidity levels are important factors of interest in this case and all of them were included in the study. 8 measuring campaigns, each of them took 1 week, had been done throughout the whole school year. The main aim of these campaigns was monitoring and describing the variability of all selected factors during the day or year as well as between different classrooms. Average aerosol particles concentration (PM10) didn't exceed 70µg.m-3 during most of the campaigns and the pupil's activity was evaluated as the main influencing factor. The...

TITLE: Peer Review of Vocational Education and Training Schools AUTHOR: Stanislav Michek DEPARTMENT: Department of Primary Education, Charles University in Prague SUPERVISOR: prof. PhDr. Karel Rýdl, CSc. ABSTRACT: The subject of the research of the thesis is the issue of external evaluation, particularly technical and vocational schools by partners at the same level (peer review). In the theoretical part is paid attention to concepts associated with the development of the school, the peer review is set in the context of other forms of external evaluation in education in general level and then describes the current state of the external evaluation of schools in the Czech Republic. For the empirical research was designed mixed methods design. When the research was, along with other research methods effected multiple case study - fed 4 specific stories of peer review in the Czech Republic. From the findings have been identified following supportive factors peer review: attitudes toward evaluation, condition, experience with evaluation, competency of the participants, of the interaction rated the school and peers and support peer review. Financing of Universities

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of the tertiary education in the Czech Republic. First the tertiary education is being characterized in it, its system, classification and its role in education. Then I take heed of financing of the tertiary education, its organizing at either public or private universities. Next, the reform of tertiary education is introduced. Particular quantitative data are analysed in a period between 2007 - 2011, when there is evaluating the development of number of students at universities, and the development of financing university education from the state and regional budget.

Contribution of this thesis is to understand what influences the choice of leisure activities. How important the strategic planning is and the use of SWOT analysis in working on the planning. Reminding the importance of marketing activities to promote leisure time centres.

Education in Austrian aristocratic families from the beginning of 19th century to the 1st half of 20th century

The thesis deals with the education in austrian aristocratic families in the 19th century and in the 1st half of 20th century. The education and upbringing of children had been influented by plenty of factors. The most important factors, which influenced education, were the environment (home or boarding school), specialization of education, the selection of schools and universities and the language of education, too. Parents, nannys and private teachers also had some influence on the upbringing of the children. In the 19th century we can find some common characteristic in some of the noble families (The Schwarzenbergs, the Sternbergs, the Mensdorffs and some others). The 1st half of the 20th century is an essential period for the history of aristocracy. Political changes reflected in its lifestyle and partially in the upbringing and education of the children of the aristocrats. These changes are illustrated on the education of children in the family of prince Johann Schönburg-Hartenstein.
