Importance of Truth in Relation Adoptive Parents and the Adopted Child

The fundamental theme is the communication between the adoptive parents and an adopted child especially choosing the appropriate way of telling the truth and right timing of the fact of adoption. This thesis compares the attitudes of psychologists and other professionals, especially social workers with experiences with adoptive parents and adopted children through the casuistries. Another significant theme in this thesis is an identity of the adoptive parents and adopted children. The thesis describes some methods and techniques that find easier way of telling the truth to the child which are contemporaneusly facilitating with the developmental psychology. In detail then I am describing the concrete methods and techniques, especially art psychotherapy, bibliotherapy, autogenous training.
Intercountry adoptions from Uganda

The thesis is devoted to the issue of interracial adoption, when Ugandan child lives in the Czech adoptive family. The aim is to focus on the ethical aspect of interracial adoptions. Attempts to find out whether this type of adoption is really in the best interests of the child. The first part of the thesis provides general background information about Uganda as a country of origin of children. Describes historical development and socio-economic situation of the country, the issue of HIV/AIDS and information about orphan and abandoned children. The second part describes the process of international adoption, both generally and on the part of both participating countries, namely Uganda and the Czech Republic. The third part deals with the ethical side of the adoption. Aim is to find out how the circumstances of the interracial adoption can affect the adoptive family and the future development of the child, how they cope with the racism and discrimination and questions about childs identity. This part is based on surveys, studies and interviews with adoptive parents and their adopted children.
Foster care and upbringing of children by homosexual couples from the perspective of psychology and Christian ethics.

This thesis deals with upbringing of children by homosexual couples and its analysis through the legal perspective, psychological perspective and through the perspective of Christian ethics. The aim of the thesis is with regard to researched literature on the possibilities of the upbringing of children by homosexual couples to analyse the above mentioned topic, and possibly to find an answer to if the existing approaches to homoparentality are justifiable or not. The presentation of the approach of Christian ethics to the respective topic will not be left out.

By use of the analytic and descriptive methods the valid legal provisions are described and evaluated. Furthermore some changes of the respective law are proposed de lege ferenda. The thesis deals with the proposal of new civil code and analyses it critically. The last part of the thesis describes German Law regarding adoption. The thesis is composed of eleven chapters. The Options of the Non-Govermental Organizations in the Substitutional Family Care

This thesis "The Options of the Non-Governmental Organizations in the Substitutional Family Care" deals with the description of the roles, functions and options of the non-governmental organizations in the field of the substitutional family care. First objective is to create a list of these organizations. Next objective is a description of the subtitutional family care system as well as a description of the roles and options of the nonprofit sector in this field from the non- governmental organization's employees point of view. This description is based on the analysis of interviews with these employees as well as the employees of the governmental organizations from this field. This thesis also focuses on the collaboration in the substitutional family care system. The last part offers a summary of the outcomes and some recommendations for the improvement of children at risk assessment system.

The bachelor thesis on the topic of "Substitute Family Education" deals with the issue of foster care in the Czech Republic. This thesis investigates the family, its irreplaceable role in educating individuals, the history of foster care, the foster care system in the Czech Republic, legislation, the definition of various forms of foster care, foster parents, adoptive parents and non-profit organizations providing foster care - SOS Villages. The aim of the thesis is to become familiar with the issue of foster care in the Czech Republic, to clarify the rules for placing children in foster families, to point out some problems of children that come with foster care using the case of three foster families, and assess its importance and necessity for children and society.

Bachelor thesis, "Current issues of adoption and education of children in homoparenting families" deals with the issue of homosexuality, a registered partnership, the possibilities of parenthood homosexual couples and the education of children in homoparenting families. In the beginning of my work I deal with the definition of homosexuality, causes of its origin, history and contemporary perspective on homosexuality and gay live opinions. Next there is a chapter about registered partnership, particularly brief contents of the act on the registered partnership, compare institute of registered partnership with the institute of marriage and the situation in the Czech Republic after the legalization of registered partnership. In the next chapter I summarized the possibilities of creation homoparenting families. The last chapter is about the topic of homoparenting families. The professional findings in the education of children in these families as well as education aspects of the enviroment resulting these families. Finaly a summary of the arguments for and against the education of children in homoparenting families.
Capitis deminutio minima

Capitis deminutio minima The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the institute called the capitis deminutio minima. In this respect, it is primarily necessary to describe the meaning of the word caput for the understanding of the whole topic. The first chapter deals with the explanation of the above-mentioned term. The caput of a human being has in Roman Law three elements: the status of liberty, of citizenship and of family, and the subdivisions of the first chapter correspond to it. There, the first subchapter focuses on the persons who are free and those who are slaves; the latter were not considered to be legal persons at all. The following subchapter characterises the rights and duties of Roman citizens and the situation of the foreigners. The last subchapter contains basic information about the Roman family and its members, who are divided into two cathegories - the sui iuris and the alieni iuris. At the beginning the text describes the position of the head of the family (the pater familias), and his powers. The following text examines the conditions of those who are subjected to the authority of the pater familias.
