Aproximace obtížných rozvrhovacích úloh
Lisý, Viliam ; Vlach, Milan (referee) ; Čepek, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with shop scheduling problems. After introducing the basic denitions and notation, we continue with a short survey of known complexity results for open shop, ow shop and job shop scheduling problems. Then we focus more on open shop and especially on a subclass of open shop with at most two non-zero length operations per job denoted Om|mj = 2|Cmax in standard notation. Besides some minor lemmas and observations, four major new results concerning this subclass are presented. The rst one is an observation, that any schedule in this class can be transformed in polynomial time to a schedule with same length and only one idle interval on each machine. The second one is a proof of a well known conjecture about so-called dense schedules for the subclass. The third one is modication of a known greedy algorithm to obtain schedules no longer then 3/2 of the optimal length, and the last one is a modication of a known polynomial approximation scheme which guarantees a better performance for instances from the above described subclass.

National Radicalism in Hungary - Jobbik Party

Diploma thesis "National Radicalism in Hungary - Jobbik political party" deals with a political party in contemporary Hungary called (Movement for better Hungary -Jobbik). The aim is to place the party into a theoretical frame. Jobbik became important after the European parliament elections, when the party gained nearly 15% and 3 seats. In April 2010 Jobbik successfully entered the Hungarian parliament with nearly 17% and 47 seat. Although the party is often callen neonacist of extremist, the aim of the work is to prove that it belongs to populist radical right parties.

Limestones of Český kras and their use for hydraulic limes and natural cements
Kozlovcev, Petr ; Kuchařová, Aneta (referee) ; Přikryl, Richard (advisor)
ii Summary This bachelor thesis is focused on the possible use of limestones from the Český kras area for the preparation of alternative inorganic binders, namely for hydraulic limes and natural cements. In the introductory chapters, the geology of Český kras is described. Silurian and Devonian beds make the most important lithostratigraphic members. Then, the history of limestone exploitation and processing is explained. It is followed by the petrographical characteristic of limestone - its mineralogical and chemical composition, the structure and the texture, the classification, the genesis and the diagenesis. Major part of the thesis focuses on inorganic binders - their basic characterization and evaluation. Limestones are discussed from the point of their general use in the industry. The limestones from the Český kras area are analyzed based on their chemical composition (based on the previously reported data) and evaluated for the potential use for burning of hydraulic limes and natural cements.

Czech language teaching to the slavic people (focusing on the South Slavonic area)
Kachelmaierová, Šárka ; Vlašić, Marija (referee) ; Gladkova, Hana (advisor)
The thesis deals with the teaching of Czech language for foreigners. It focuses on issues of teaching typologically close language, which is Czech for speakers of Slavic languages (specifically Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian). In the theoretical part the thesis defines and classifies positive and negative language transfers. It compares the typological differences in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian and Czech. The thesis also deals with phenomena that are difficult for students of Czech language. It focuses on issues of interference errors and interlanguage interference, which is based on research conducted on the students of Czech studies at the Zagreb Faculty. The teaching of Czech in Croatia is described. The thesis presents chosen textbooks and describes some of the major methods of teaching foreign languages. It briefly introduces the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In the Annexe to this thesis, see examples of questionnaires, examples of student translations from Czech into Croatian and examples of transcripts of the listening exercises.

Senior social care services and their accessibility in the Czech Republic
Baloun, Marek ; Čabanová, Bohumila (advisor) ; Orságová, Petra (referee)
Diploma thesis "Senior social care services and their accessibility in the Czech Republic" is dealing with the social care services for seniors and with their accessibility in the Czech Republic (in the context of demographic and social trends). The social care services accessibility- improvement was a prime motivation for writing this diploma thesis. The main goal is a reflection of current system in the senior social care services sphere, an identification of the barriers, suggestion of instruments refining the process of this system (in final consequences the accessibility of the senior social care services in the Czech Republic). Eight major problems in the senior social care services system with impact on the accessibility of the given services were identified and analyzed on the basis of interviews made by experts. The suggestion of the special and systemic instruments, which leads towards improvement of the social care system and primarily towards significantly better accassibility of the senior social care services in the Czech Republic, outcoming in the practical part of the thesis.

Fundamental fitness of Prague's PedF UK students. Comparison with same research done back in 2006/2007.
Matyášová, Hana ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Hájek, Jeroným (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out fitness level of Prague PF UK students and compare it with the level from the years 2006-7 when same research was performed. The current 2009 fitness of Prague's PedF UK students was tested according to the test Unifittest (6 - 60), the same to the one used in 2006-7. By the testing I examine whether the fitness of current students is (worse or) better than the result of fitness testing from 2006-7. Based on average 2009 results comparison I'm trying to find out if students with teaching qualification (physical training) achieved better results than their peers without this teaching qualification. In addition to that I'm trying to ascertain current students approach to their own fitness and also if they would like to participate in a new subject focused on monitoring and improving fitness. For this purpose, already created questionnaire from 2006 has been used. By the comparison of 2006 and 2009 questionnaires I evaluate whether students choose similar answers. The outcome of this diploma shows the average fitness decreased for majority of Prague's PedF UK students in comparison to the status in 2006-7. During more detailed observation I revealed that degree of decrease in fitness is higher for women than for men. On top of that it was proven that...

Flow cytometry used in study of man`s infertility.
Kutová, Radka ; Drahošová, Marcela (referee) ; Jílek, Petr (advisor)
Background: Currently infertility of couples is a major problem, whereas the share of man and woman in infertility disorder is alike. It is important to discover the cause of infertility as soon as possible. The diagnostic possibilities of male infertility detection include the examination of sperm by flow cytometry and microscopic examination of semen. Aims: The aim of our work is to draw up an overview of the possible causes of male infertility and a summary of possible examination of semen using flow cytometry. Next aim is to evaluate the data measured by flow cytometry obtained from men over the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the Institute of Clinical Immunology and Allergology University Hospital Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, and determine interdependencies between the measured sperm parameters. Further, the work deals with the methodology optimization in examination of semen using flow cytometry. Methods: Determination of sperm parameters (sperm count and leukocyte count, sperm vitality, acrosom status and presence of intra-acrosomal protein) was performed using flow cytometer Cytomics FC 500 with CXP analytic software. The method used is based on the test SpermFlow from the company Exbio. Semen samples were obtained from 163 men. Results: Statistical analysis of our data set showed that men...

Supernatural level of thinking
Kubová, Blanka ; Doubek, David (referee) ; Levínská, Markéta (advisor)
The bachelor thesis named "Supernatural level of thinking" comes out mainly from the qualitative research, which was executed on this theme. So, it deals with the approach of sepurnature by students who had participated in this research. This thesis is composed of three main chapters. Of theoretical chapter, of methodological chapter, finally of practical chapter. In the theoretical there are explaned concepts generated from the research explained. These concepts are afterwards used in the practical chapter, so they are important to be understood by a reader. These are concepts as the magic, the religion and the supernatural esence. In the methodological chapter there is a short discourse about a qualitative research, about a research sample and mainly about methods, which were used for the research. As the main method I present an interview there, I mention also the other merhods which were used, method of observation and questionnaire method. Finally, the practical chapter comes out mainly from interviews, that were executed with the students. In this part I cite their opinions and experience that they have with the supernature. These citations are going hand in hand with general analysis of gained information. I assume that this thesis could among others help to better awareness of this question, also...

About titles
Lesák, Josef ; Janovec, Ladislav (referee) ; Peterka, Josef (advisor)
At the beginning is this thesis about general poetics of title (functions of titles, historical poetics of title, typology of titles and about relations between the text and the title of a literary work). This thesis briefly concerns with specifics of contemporary Czech literature (literature after year 1989) and its titles. Further, it deals with ways of atractivization of titles. The focus of this thesis consists of analysis of titles of contemporary Czech fiction. We wanted to answer the question, what are the titles about, analyzing the titles of different genres and types of titles. The hypothesis about titles has been confirmed. In the majority of cases it is truth that titles are closely connected with the subject matter of the book. Furthermore, some of the titles, tell us something authors, about their biography and their poetics. Thanks to their form they can signalize theme or/and genre, but they do not predicate of affiliation to popular or artistic literature (titles of artistic and popular literature differentiate not by their form, but rather by fitting-in to the text of a book that seems to be better thought through in the case of artistic literature than in the case of popular literature). Subtitles mostly refer to genre and theme. We also state features of postmodern titles that are based...
