3D visualization of reconstructed settlements on web
Kryshenyk, Pavlo ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Brůha, Lukáš (referee)
3D visualization of reconstructed settlements on web Abstract The object of this thesis was 3D reconstruction and visualization of historical urban objects in web environment. The thesis also deals with issues associated with the topic and creation of a web portal for publishing 3D reconstructions of different authors. A 3D reconstruction of historical appearance of the Theatre Square and part of Korso street in the city Uzhgorod was held. Modeling was conducted in the Trimble SketchUp software using historical pictures for photo textures of buildings. Web application has been developed using the tools of Google Earth API. The work results in a web application involving visualization of 3D models of buildings in Google Earth environment, virtual tours, tools for illumination control, placemarks with popup balloons, carrying multimedia and textual information about the objects and other visualization tools. Keywords: 3D reconstruction, Google Earth API, SketchUp, web application, Uzhgorod
3D model
Sládeček, Martin ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This paper concerns the task three-dimensional scene using image sequence obtained with an ordinry camera. First portion of this thesis outlines the principles used in solving of the task, the second chapter describes a reconstucion algorithm and it's implementation in the Python programming language. The output of this program is demonstrated on several selected scenes. Final remarks discuss the quality of resulting models, shortcomings of the program and possible improvements.
Formation of human dental anomalies in odontogenesis of mouse models with gene defects.
Lochovská, Kateřina ; Hovořáková, Mária (advisor) ; Peterka, Miroslav (referee)
Laboratory mouse is a appropriate experimental model for studies on normal tooth development mechanisms and for understanding of etio-pathogenesis of dental anomalies in humans. Mouse dentition consists of one incisor separated from three molars by toothless diastema in each jaw quadrant. Although an adult mice diastema does not contain teeth, rudimentary tooth primordia (MS, R2) appear here during embryonic development. However, their development stops and consequently functional tooth does not arise here. It is known that in mice with mutations in Spry2 and Spry4 genes, supernumerary teeth arise in antemolar region. The understanding of the temporo-spatial dynamics of signaling centers in Spry2/Spry4 double transgenic mice may help to elucidate the role of these embryonic diastemal buds in supernumerary tooth formation. The research of possible regeneration of dental anomalies in off-spring of crossing Spry4 deficient mice with supernumerary teeth formation with Eda deficient mice with predisposition to reduced dentition could be the way to elucidating of mechanism of dental pathologies development in general. Our aim was to describe temporal and spatial dynamics of Shh signaling domains in Spry2/Spry4 embryos, because Shh is one of the markers of early odontogenesis and determining of...
3D RECONSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED SETTLEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL POVLTAVÍ
Andrštová, Martina ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Keywords: 3D reconstruction, DTM, land cover changes, orthophoto
3D reconstruction of landscape in abandoned villages of borderlands and military zones
Jelének, Jan ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Oršulák, Tomáš (referee)
3D reconstruction of landscape: A case study of extinct municipalities in Czech borderlands and military areas Abstract This work deals with theoretical and practical possibilities to use GIS to create three-dimensional model of landscape changes. The object of the work was the creation and visualization of three-dimensional model of extinct municipalities Padrť in a military area Brdy and Košťálkov in the borderlands. The work used many available data sources, such as historical aerial photographs, historical photos, current orthophotos or historical maps. These data and specialized software were used to create digital models of the selected area, including three-dimensional models of buildings and vegetation, with emphasis on historical closeness. Work was focused on three selected periods of history: 40th of the 18th century, 30th to 50th of the 20th century and present. The work resulted in fly-by animations and perspective scenes, which are compared with historical photographs. Historical models are also confronted with each other by a dynamic fading in fly-by animations.
3D Reconstruction of extinct parts in the Dobříš town
Koucká, Lucie ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Oršulák, Tomáš (referee)
The main object of this thesis is the reconstruction and visualization of multidimensional model with using geographic information systems. The thesis deals with issues associated with the above mentioned topic as well. The 3D reconstruction relates to the Mírové square in the Dobříš town, which was affected by the redevelopment in the second half of the 20th century. During creating the 3D model, there was an endeavour to capture the best appearence of the area before this change. The reconstruction, created mainly by ArcScene, was made by using historical photos, aerial photographs and other data. Two softwares are tested and compared during modelling of 3D buildings - Bentley Microstation and Google SketchUp. Fly-by animations and pictures are the thesis results, being confronted with historical photographs.
3D Reconstruction from two views
Myška, Milan ; Minář, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with 3D reconstruction process using two 2D pictures of one scene taken with uncalibrated cameras. The first chapter focuses on mathematical theory behind this process. Epipolar geometry, locating keypoints method SURF, fundamental and essential matrix, projection matrices, stereo rectification process and searching for stereo correspondences are explained here. The next chapter of my thesis describes a practical view of this topic and my own C++ program is introduced at the same time.

3D model from multiview
Zemčík, Tomáš ; Klečka, Jan (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
Reconstruction of 3D model from multiple view images allows us to perform a contactless measurement of real world objects. This work contains theoretical and mathematical background necessary for understanding problems of 3D reconstruction. It also proposes possible hardware and software solutions for the task of measuring a hood with EEG sensors while on patients head.
3D Reconstruction of Human Body Motion (MOCAP)
Černák, František ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with object recognition in image, motion capturing and his transformation into 3D coordination system and 3D reconstruction. The problem was solved by building stereo camera system, detection of markers on a moving object and getting his position in space using triangulation. Hit rate of 95%  was achieved in marker detection at close range and accuracy of 3D reconstruction answers to reality at certain extend. The main finding of this work is that it is possible to reconstruct body motions with a pair of simple web cameras.
