On the mechanisms of shrinkage reducing admixtures in alkali activated materials
Komosná, Kateřina ; Bartoníčková, Eva (referee) ; Kalina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the principles of behavior of shrinkage reducing agents (SRA) in alkali-activated materials based on blast furnace slag. The main focus of this work is selecting the most suitable admixture based on experiments, by which will be achieved through minimal shrinkage and will have negative effect on the properties of alkali-activated blast furnace slag at the same time. In experimental section of this work, the surface tension as individual additives as their mixtures with pore solution were measured primarily. Then the testing samples composed of blast furnace slag, water glass and addition of SRA were prepared. Of these samples was measured shrinkage and weight loss. Moreover, their mechanical properties such as flexural and compressive strength were monitored. Next, the beginning and the end of solidification was studied using the Vicat device and last but not least workability. The hydration process of alkali-activated materials with SRA was measured calorimetrically. Finally the microstructure in prepared samples was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDS) and the total porosity was determined by mercury porosimeter.

The new age of the old self - the New Age spirituality in the light of Advaitic teaching
Masojídek, Milan ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with a phenomenon of New Age movement and summarizes its fundamental visions. Afterwards these visions are interpreted in context of spiritual teaching and practicing of Advaita Vedanta. This approach enables studying of New Age spirituality from existential point of view and one gains an idea about its position not only in terms of eternal contemporary selfsearching but also more complex in terms of specific situation of modern man and his culture due to culturologic perspective. New Age within the scope of such approach appears as an environment where one can live more spiritually and which can be good base on a journey of deep spiritual understanding due to emphasis on individual selfsearching, freedom, internal responsibility and idea of Unity. However, for this seems to be necessary to step out of limited and comfortable New Age category - if it is comfortable mainly for ego and its needs, valuables and interrelated category of limited individual thinking. It is a level on the journey of understanding which has to be leaved as well as "searching" itself provided that the understanding would be fully realized. Such conclusion challenges deeper culturologic reflection of category or more likely of manifestations or statuses of odd principle of conscious existence and their relation to the...

Řešení správy dokumentů ve firmě E-solutions, s.r.o.
Švanda, Jan ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Svěžen, Zdeněk (referee)
Presented thesis is focused to the document management system in the firm E-solutions, Ld. Selection of this firm is purposeful, because I have been working in the firm for several years. My thesis is targeted to the complex analysis of document management system (DMS) in the firm and the results of the analysis will be used for the implementation of new DMS. The target is accomplished by following steps, which can be expressed as partial concrete goals: First, the present situation of DMS in the firm is described, next, the detail description of the documents, the system should work with, is presented. Description of these documents is structured to the DMS needs. Subsequently firm processes which should DMS support are identified and analysed. These processes are converted to the optimal conditions to maximize their effectiveness in the DMS support. Integral part of the analysis is the consistent collection of the requirements to the new system. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes DMS generally, explains basic principles of DMS (characteristics, documentation and functionality) and creates base line for the practical part. The more comprehensive practical part of the thesis is directed to the document management in the firm E-solutions, Ld. Presentation of the basic information about the firm is followed by detail solution of partial goals. Assessment of the achieved results creates the final part of the work. The thesis will serve in the firm or at a contactor of DMS as the base for the selection, parameterisation and implementation of the concrete DMS solution.

Algorithm Visualization
Lasák, Petr ; Mareš, Martin (referee) ; Zlomek, Josef (advisor)
The main goal of project was creating Graphics User Interface that visualizes the running of various algorithms and data structures. It creates an interface that shows the process how algorithms work with initial data (input) to create a result (output) The focus was given on easy-to-use user interface and clarity of presentation. That makes program familiar to user and helps him to understand principles of algorithms much faster. Learning is much easier when watching a visual presentation. Program is accompanied with two plugin examples, which show possibilities of developed plugin API.

Czech photographie theory in the period 1940-1960
Bedrnová, Jitka ; Lábová, Alena (advisor) ; Chuchma, Josef (referee)
Collecting all the documents on Czechoslovak photographic theory in the period 19401969 published in the Czechoslovak periodical press and the treatises proved through descriptive analysis that the first-rate photography theory did exist in Czechoslovakia of that time. It was in spite of the former political regime efforts to assign the photography tendency by means of the so called Marxist-Lcninist theory and the fact that it was almost impossible to gain information on foreign up-to-date trend. Especially in the early fifties of the 20th century the dcvelopement of the Czechoslovak photography and its theory stagnated because of the dogmatic principles of the regime 's favored theorists. Yet in the late fifties the authors proficiently dealing with certain large photography issues were allowed to publish as well and thus crucially affected other theorists. both professional and amateur photographers and the lay public and their view of the Czechoslovak photography and under the given conditions the world photography and facilitated the Czechoslovak photography theory developement as well as the photography practice devclopcment. It was especially the editors and contributors of the Ceskoslovenska fotografie and Revue Fotografie who did their best to transmit information from abroad to the public and from...

A necessity of standard educational plan resulted from the explorational investigation, which would grant unified informations and sufficient time to the mothers for their questions. For mothers a manual of our education will be made to this educational plan. These educational materials will be helpful for uprating nursery care of mothers and their newborns at our workplace.

Problems of the Electronic Cataloguing of Manuscripts from the Point of View of the Committee for the Registration and Study of Manuscripts
Brodský, Pavel
Electronic adaptation is the task of the day also in the case of manuscripts, nevertheless the modern is often mistaken for modish. Attempts to throw out of the obsolete, and to begin again from the start are condemned to fail. In the past, the Committee for the Cataloguing and Study of Manuscripts of the Archives of the Academy of Sciences of CR published Principles of the Manuscripts Description belonging to the most exacting in Europe. Electronic adaptation has to have its roots in these Principles, too. The detailed electronic database that will contain the same items as these printed catalogues becomes a base for the prepared general manuscript catalogue of the Czech Republic. The database will be continually supplemented with the gradually finished catalogues of manuscript collections; thus, its creation will not go the way of the reception of somebody else's work, but on the contrary it will use its own study and research.
