New fountains on the Republic Square in Pilsen

I have chosen three public fountains called the Angel, the Camel and the Grey-hound bitch like a topic for my Bachelor work. These fountain were emplaced on the Republic Square in Pilsen in July 2010. The author of this work is Mga Ondřej Císler, whose fountains were whose fountains were honour for honorable mention of honorable mention in prestigious competition of architects called Grand Prix. It was in Architectonic design cathegory. Throught writing of my thesis I tried to bent on these object like author made himself. His work helps the koncept of monumental medieval square to grow in nowadays work which exemplifies scale and material permeation of the space.1 My main source-books were Cisler´s personal materials for his project. Second one was literature deals with sign and literature charting History of Pilsen. The topics of the fountains are inpirated by heraldic sign of the town. Other sourses come from publications bent on modern architecture. My bachelor thesis contains mention of previous fountains staying on the square before.

The contribution of corporate social responsibility for business

Bachelor's thesis deals with the CSR, the author tries to present this modern phenomenon as a competitive advantage of companies. The study defines the basic characteristics of CSR, mentions its mistaken understanding. The chief part of this study includes analysis of the benefits of social responsibility. The theoretical concept is studied in practice. The author took as a model for the analysis the company Nestlé. The conclusion of thesis contains an evaluating of Nestle Company CSR Report and own opinion of an inclusion of socially responsible business activities in corporate strategy.

Zároveň též porovnat odlišnosti v pojetí různých zemí a odlišnosti od moderní gymnastiky, jakožto nejphbuznější disciplíny. Metody práce: Metodami této empiricko -teoretické práce byl rozbor videonahrávek z mezinárodních soutěží estetické skupinové gymnastiky z pohledu historického vývoje a metoda pozorování Výsledky: Vývoj estetické gymnastiky v průběhu pěti let zaznamenal obrovský růst technické vyspělosti závodnic. Disciplína vznikla ze snahy odlišit se od gymnastiky moderní svou formou pohybu, ale bohužel systém donutil trenérky i závodnice vrátit se zpět k maximální flexibilitě a dokonalé technice provedení. Application of Break Dance in Youth Competitions in the Czech Republic. History and Development of this Dance Style

Název práce: Uplatnění tance break dance v soutěžích mládeže v ČR, historie a vývoj tohoto tanečního stylu Application ofBreak dance style in youth's competitions in the Czech Republic, history and development of such style ofdance Cíle práce: Vyhledat orgaruzace zabývající se pořádáním soutěží v tanečním stylu break dance. Vytvořit přehled pravidel soutěží a vývojové linie break dancu v ČR. Metoda: Pro posouzení kvality a kvantity pravidel soutěží jsem použila metodu srovnávání (komparace). Tato metoda nám umožňuje poznat, v čem se zkoumaný jev liší od jiných, nebo v čem se shoduje (Liška, 2003). Zaměřila jsem se na bodování, hodnotící škály a kritéria vymezená pravidly. Pro zmapování problematiky break dancu v ČR jsem zvolila vedený rozhovor (nestrukturované interview), který jsem vedla s vybranými tanečníky, trenéry a choreografy. Nestrukturované interview je dobrý nástroj na zmapování problematiky, která není zpracována v literatuře (Gavora, 2000). Výsledky: Tvoří ucelený přehled pravidel soutěží break dancu pro rok 2005 - 2006 a historického vývoje tohoto tanečního stylu v ČR. Approaches to the enterprise information systems innovation

The thesis deals with problems of the IS/ICT innovation strategic management in the surroundings of the Czech Republic and participates in solutions to the three-year research project GA201/08/663 -- Information systems innovation to support competitiveness of enterprises. This project has been realized at the Faculty of Information Science and Statistics at the University of Economics, Prague in support of the Czech Science Foundation since 1st January 2008. Thesis sequence to the project consists in filling of particular priorities defined for 1st year of research. Of course this fact represents determining aspect of thesis main goals definition. Firstly, carry out a research on actual level of information systems in Czech enterprises forcefully into the IS/ICT innovation. Secondly, set up working paper for presentation of continuous outcomes after the introductory phase by appearances at scientific conferences, by articles in scientific papers and by findings'publication at a website of the Czech Society for System Integration. Structure of the thesis, which consists of a theoretical and a practical part, specifies methods of goals'filling. The theoretical part represents introduction to problems -- it covers identification of key elements influencing IS/ICT innovation in surrounding of the modern knowledge economy, IS/ICT innovation classification and detailed statement of IS/ICT innovation management process, which is based on methods of strategic management process in general. The practical part gives attention to questionnaire research -- structure of the questionnaire, research methodology and answer evaluation. Contribution of the thesis, together with filling of particular goals of the research project GA201/08/663 -- Information systems innovation to support competitiveness of enterprises, consists in multidimensional view of the specific problems. IS/ICT innovation is seen not only from an enterprise informatics point of view, but also from an entire enterprise angle when economic aspect is also taken into account. This approach accents support task of informatics -- the IS/ICT contribute to the filling of enterprise's goals.

More specifically, it describes how the standing of small parties is affected during ongoing gradual bipolarization. There are two approaches to the research. First, the paper examines the effect the electoral mechanism on the party's system have in the Czech Republic focusing on the parliament elections to the Chamber of Deputies in years 2002-2010. The mechanical and psychological elements of the elections influencing the profits of small parliament parties are analyzed. Retail logistics and supply chain management

The aim of this master thesis ,Logistics and SCM in retail ' is to introduce modern supply chain management (SCM) and logistics approaches and technologies used by multinational retail companies through the example of the TESCO company, while focusing on the UK and Czech retail market. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical section describes logistics and SCM with focus on retail markets. The first three chapters introduce the basic SCM concepts, current trends and challenges in retail logistics and identify the key areas of interest of a retail supply chain. The analytical part explores the systematic steps undertaken by TESCO that helped the company gain a competitive advantage on the markets. It begins by outlining the activities of transnational TESCO PLC, which should provide the reader with basic information about the company, its vision and strategy. The last two chapters look into TESCO's supply chain solutions in Great Britain and the Czech Republic with a focus on common traits and features.

Sports and Intellectual Property Law - Copyright Focus Intellectual property affects with bigger or lower intensity almost all areas of modern society, sports not being an exception. Inventions of new technologies allow sportsmen and sportswomen to reach better results and to compete in new sports disciplines. Impact of broadcasting rights and branding of teams and their sponsors were detrimental to financial grow of sports and allowed sports to become a quasi-religion for many people round the world. Audience is attending sports for mental satisfaction and other reasons similar to those for visiting theater. In antic Greek Olympics were sportsmen in direct competition with poem writers or rhetoricians. This thesis focuses on copyright ability of "Sports" itself (term "Sports" is used in this thesis as including sports moves/complexes of sports moves and sports events). Internet Tools for Lifelong Learning in the IT Sector

In the presented dissertation, there is, based on a given topic “Internet tools for lifelong learning in the IT sector”, expressed an appropriate coverage of created partial research tasks with an active solution of them at the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology for branch Company Management and Economics, and that in accordance with the defined areas of research and publication activities. For systemic approach to the whole dissertation, it was defined area of theoretical perspectives and expressed methodology for addressing systemic models of education on Internet means and for that practical research work was chosen adaptable (“learning”) Company 1 as a reference (for solving individual practical research tasks) and a methodology of modern approach to modelling was created (“for modern management and information communication between systems”) and also modelling of a required adaptable (“directly also improving with modelling”) Internet (and intranet) environment of companies and its use in the process of lifelong learning of knowledge workers (“teachers”) of Company 1 and possible additional (“knowledge workers and users”) Company 2, 3, ..., m i.e. “businesses as other customers” and all that to actively create an adaptable and new space with the possible use of an evolutionary (“new and also modern and intelligent and self-learning”) means of information and communication technologies (ICT) both from the world and from the Czech Republic and especially new (and evolutionary perspective) Internet tools and resources for business management, lifelong learning in IT sector and necessary monitoring of demanded company's competitiveness operating in dynamically developing IT. By systemically solved modelling on computers, there is expressed an issue of appropriately selected internet tools in a competitive environment of companies, and also there is addressed by computer modelling a new approach to modelling leading to an anticipated modernization of modern electronic lifelong learning forms built on tools and resources of the Internet. The work also includes a creation of models on PCs allowing comparison of expected changes in competitiveness of companies reacting to the benefits of created methodology and that leads to an anticipated improvement in the quality of management and economics of companies in terms of relative improvement of their competitiveness. Solving of these modern issues is conducted based on an appropriate analysis of selected enterprises, corresponding to the solved topic and solved objectives of the work and also obtained information from publications in world information sources on the Internet and from virtual libraries of the world, publishing, seminars, proceedings and conferences. The results of system analytical approach to solving tasks and activities of the research work have been regularly published in articles of professional and peer-reviewed journals and also in conference contributions. In these research results, there is systematically expressed a new essence of solving interface of social and IT technical system with selected resources of internet tools for lifelong learning companies working in IT sector as a possible contribution into modern creation of self-learning organizations.

Business process improvement

This paper focuses on a timely topic, specifically management of processes and improvement of business processes. Czech economy has now fully accommodated to business in market conditions and Czech businesses are increasingly more integrated into the global economy. These conditions require increasing competitiveness of Czech companies and increasing the efficiency of administrative activity. In order for modern companies to succeed in the marketplace they must constantly focus on the improvement of their activities, and therefore it is important to keep developing new technologies, business methods, and improve the quality of the final products of the introduction of new effective methods of management and organization of businesses. Business processes are an integral part of every company and their improvement is an essential tool to increase competitiveness and proximity to the customer. The study of business processes allows to gain the necessary expertise in complex analysis and a detailed assessment of existing processes, finding optimal solutions that the managers and employees cannot see in their positions. Optimizing business processes supports us in having a clear idea of all the activities, objectives and final outcome of their activities. Only in case where the company will have a good analysis of the underlying business processes focused on a specific goal can the enterprise achieve improvements in all the necessary activities. Process analysis is a good method to answer the question what is necessary and sufficient to achieve the desired objectives. This thesis is focused on business processes and their improvement. The theoretical part elaborates on the process management and compares different approaches to making changes. The practical part focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge in a chosen company. Firstly it describes the analysis of the current situation and subsequently submits proposals for specific improvements.
