The regional daily Průboj 1968-1969
Müllerová, Michaela ; Končelík, Jakub (advisor) ; Bednařík, Petr (referee)
My diploma work concerns about the description of a regional journal Průboj, that was published in Northern Bohemia for 70 years. I focused on late sixties and tried to describe a personal constitution of editor's office including economical aspects of publishing. I also made a particular content analysis covering the time period from April 1968 till August 1969. Especially in the time of the "Prague Spring" Průboj maintained social reforms and their political representatives. That is why it was very popular with public. Průboj reporters commented on political situation in the Czechoslovakia practically without any censorship. This was also a reason why stand-pat members of regional committee of the Communist Party often argued with them about their opinions. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The role of the Roman Catholic Church during the transition to democracy in Poland and Chile
Labutta, Michael ; Štefek, Martin (advisor) ; Květina, Jan (referee)
(anglicky) The thesis will be addressed by comparing the states which have undergone a transition to democracy and at the same time you can observe the strong influence of the Roman Catholic Church. Specifically, it will be about Poland and about Chile. In the beginning, I tried to capture the position of the Church in these states for the duration of the undemocratic regime (if it stood on the side of the regime, covert opposition, or whether they acted directly against the regime). I will try to describe what influenced this attitude - the injustices of the regime, historical context. Another part will look at what the relationship with the Church undemocratic regimes sought. Whether enforce repression, cooptation, or some form of "tacit agreement". In response to previous questions in the conclusion I will try answer whether the Roman Catholic Church was open to cooperation and advocated more confrontational stance, and how did this attitude affect the form, course and outcome of transition in these countries.

Dynamics of the settlement pattern in the microregion of Zarabag (southern Uzbekistan) on the basis of archaeological sources
Augustinová, Anna ; Stančo, Ladislav (advisor) ; Frank Danielisová, Alžběta (referee)
15 Abstract The following thesis summarizes results of the archaeological research in the microregion of the Zarabag Oasis in the South Uzbekistan. The non-destructive research focused on the collection and evaluation of the archaeological data that allow to reconstruct the settlement dynamics in the oasis during the ages. Previously, there was not archaeological evidence available in the region. The fieldwork in the oasis and its closest surroundings was conducted by way of extensive surface survey (global coverage of the oasis focused on the detection of archaeological evidence), and intensive one (systematic surface survey on a closely defined area). The extensive survey proved to be more suitable for the studied environment in terms of the quality and quantity of the collected archaeological data. One part of the survey consisted in detection of the water sources (springs, surface canals and even remains of the karez systems). The basic units of extensive survey were represented by polygons (gardens, fields, cemeteries, tepas etc.), to which the finds collected during the research were attributed. Their dating in the combination with their spatial distribution allowed then to reconstruct the settlement processes and dynamics in the microregion of the oasis. One part of the research deals also with the...

Loučímová, Bohumila ; Morgensternová, Monika (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (advisor)
The interethnic dating represented either by interracial or intercultural couples became interestingly more often phenomena in the czech society since 2002. The purpose of this thesis is to depict coupling across the ethnical and national boundaries and to root our :findings in the context of czech cultural background and society. The Professional Ideal of Nurses and its Transformation
Juklíčková, Ilona ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Drábková, Hana (referee)
This thesis deals with the changes in the concept of the ideal characteristics of a nurse in the context of historical development, social changes and other factors. These include mainly an educational reform, new biomedical findings and the influence of the media along with generational differences in nurses. This thesis aims at comparing the ideal characteristics of a nurse as portrayed in professional literature with ideas which nurses have themselves about their own desired professional characteristics. Specifically, it concentrates on what values these ideal characteristics represent in their eyes, whether their ideas change with age and how this relates to the perception of the prestige of the nursing profession by nurses themselves. The theoretical part is divided into chapters describing the ideal professional characteristics of a nurse based on the findings acquired from professional literature, whose topics also correlate with chapters in the research part and represent the development of the "model" nurse concept from the beginnings of Christianity to the present day. It assesses the differences in the concept of this ideal in Western Europe and the Czech lands in the course of the 20th century, in the context of social transformations and changes in nursing education. Furthermore, based...

Implementation of prevention of socio-pathologic behaviour in the second grade of primary schools in Jihlava
SEDLÁKOVÁ, Gabriela
The topic of my bachelor thesis has been focused on ways how there is realized a prevention of risky behavior on the second level of elementary schools in Jihlava. Both theoretically and practically it deals with aspects concerning the system of a realizing the prevention at this target group. The prevention of the risky behavior has been a very much debated issue today and the primary prevention is strongly emphasized from the kindergartens through elementary schools to vocational and secondary schools. Currently there does not work any uniform system of the primary prevention of the risky behavior for all elementary schools in Jihlava and there is not any comprehensive survey about organizations and institutions, established in Jihlava, offering preventive programs. A goal of the thesis was especially to find out most information about the way how the prevention in Jihlava was realized. Partial goals were findings of facts which prevention programs exist and how they have been realized, than to discover an attitude of pupils from the second level at elementary schools in Jihlava toward the risky behavior and the prevention and if the preventive programs are attractive for them. The last partial goal was to find out whether there has been created a comprehensive system of preventive programs. To achieve those goals, I chose a qualitative type of the research and a semi-structured interview method with open and half-open questions and a method of a group discussion. The research was conducted largely in the elementary schools in Jihlava, where I managed to get the consent to the research in 6 from the total number of 10 elementary schools. The target groups were chosen three in total. The first one consisted of school prevention methodologists from the research sample, the second one was formed of the ninth-grade pupils of elementary schools from the research sample and the third one was composed of representatives of organizations and institutions realizing the preventive programs in elementary schools in Jihlava. There emerged current problems of the region. Foremost it is a lack of funds, a busyness of the school prevention methodologists, who have not got enough time to plan and to realize the quality and effective prevention. I consider as the most fundamental problem a mutual non-cooperation among subjects realizing programs of the primary prevention in the elementary schools in Jihlava. In conclusion of my thesis I have outlined several solutions of these problems.

Development of solar diffuser.
Pintr, Pavel
Theoretically attainable productions of photovoltaic plants depend on the quality of solar sensors. We can determine an effeciency and reliability of photovoltaic plants with them. We introduce optical simulation of the original solution of solar sensor in software Optic Studio 15.5 Zemax. We propose new diffuser shape of solar sensor according to our analyse. We\ndescribe a development of first prototypes and their testing in the real conditions.

Regulační diagramy s rozšířenými mezemi a způsobilost procesů
Michálek, Jiří
The assumptions about behaviour of observed quality variables demanded by classical Shewhart diagrams are not often satisfied as practice shows. These assumptions concern Gaussian density function whose parameters, i.e. mean value and dispersion must be constant in time. As this demand need not be satisfied in practice therefore processes with changing mean value or dispersion have begun to analyse. This fact is changing the statistical control and capability of such manufacture processes.
