Asset price bubbles and monetary policy reactions

This thesis' intent is to analyze stock market bubbles - to bring forward their causes, characteristics and possible aftermath. Hereinafter is this work aimed at presentation of possible monetary policy reactions, its influence on bubble development and impact. I will also present arguments in relation to central bank interventions. The principal point of this thesis is an application of theoretical framework onto actual examples. Therefore have I selected 17th century Tulipmania, Black Monday (October 1987) and Japanese Bubble in the '80s? Closing part is focusing on Black Monday and Japanese Bubble comparison, which are considered to be typical benign and malign crash examples, and on evaluation of relevant monetary policy reactions. Název: Analýza aktivity vybraných svalů u člověka s jednostrannou nadkolenní amputací při chůzi An Analysis of chosen muscles of an individual with a single - sided amputation (above the knee) during a walking motion Cíl práce: Cílem práce je ověřit metodiku a způsob hodnocení elektromyografického záznamu a kinematické analýzy pro hodnocení chůze jedinců s jednostrannou nadkolenní amputací. Úkoly práce: - Shromáždit teoretické podklady týkající se problematiky amputací, elektromyografie a lokomoce amputovaných. - Zpracovat pilotní studii: Vybrat vhodného probanda pro provedení měření. Zvolit svaly, jejichž činnost budeme analyzovat. Pomocí záznamu EMG sledovat aktivitu vybraných svalů při chůzi s protézou. Pomocí záznamu EMG sledovat aktivitu vybraných svalů při chůzi bez protézy. Dle výsledku měření charakterizovat činnost sledovaných svalů, charakterizovat jejich koordinaci a intraindividuálně ji porovnat u obou typů lokomoce. Metoda: Jedná se o pilotní studii deskriptivního charakteru s využitím povrchové EMG měření v kombinaci s plošnou kinematografickou analýzou pomocí synchronizovaného videozáznamu. Tato studie je pilotní ke zpracování diplomové práce. Výsledky: Na základě uvedených tvrzení lze konstatovat že metoda EMG umožňuje sledovat změny v elektrické aktivitě vybraných svalů...

Kuks and baroque culture in Czech lands

The aim of this study is to outline and illustrate the link between the Kuksian manor and its founder, the great Czech baroque figure count Sporck and his Kuks, as a synthesis of events after the Thirty Year's War. I am convinced that this theme can be considered culturally-historical, as in the introductory chapter we are primarily going to cover the region's formation during the times of baroque Bohemia, the causes and mechanisms of its formation, subsequently we will describe the region's relationship to architecture, and finally we are going approach the spectacular grounds of Kuks itself. In the second part we will turn to count Sporck himself, particularly his background all the way towards his final establishment in Bohemia, where we are going to mention his notable credit to architecture and art, and eventually we will proceed to the issues of Bohemian settings of that time. Another big chapter will cover count Sporck's editorial activities, which were very ostentatious and presumptuous considering the fact that they took place during the difficult era full of censorships and prohibition. It can rightfully so be regarded as outstanding and, with only a few exceptions, unique in its own way. Plagiarism Prevention as a Goal of Information Education: Possible Solutions in the Environment of Academic Libraries in the Czech Republic

Cílem diplomové práce je představení problematiky plagiátorství a autorské etiky, jakožto předmětu informačního vzdělávání v prostředí vysokoškolských knihoven. V úvodu práce budou vymezeny základní pojmy a nastíněny jejich vzájemné vztahy. Na základě výsledků dotazníkového průzkumu budou podrobněji popsány aktivity, které v oblasti prevence plagiátorství vyvíjejí knihovny na veřejných vysokých školách v České republice. Charakterizovány budou i vybrané zahraniční projekty s důrazem na situaci v USA, Velké Británii a Skandinávii. Na základě publikovaných zkušeností především ze zahraničních knihoven bude uveden přehled aktivit, kterými mohou vysokoškolské knihovny přispět k prevenci plagiátorství u studentů. V závěru práce budou nastíněny možnosti systematického začlenění vybraných aktivit do programů informačního vzdělávání na českých vysokých školách.

Zdeněk Nejedlý and Litomyšl 1918-1938

První cást mé diplomové práce má ukázat a popsat Zdenka Nejedlého jako historika Litomyšle predevším v souvislosti se vznikem dvou monografií o dejinách Litomyšle z let 1903 a 1934. Okolnosti vzniku první knihy mají blízký vztah k vzniku druhé práce a navíc skýtají možnost vzájemne je porovnávat. Nesmíme též zapomenout, že Nejedlý byl historikem svého mesta i díky porádání mestského archivu a publikování nekterých clánku o historii mesta. I tato fakta budu do svého hodnocení zahrnovat. Druhá cást diplomové práce se zabývá spolecenskými a politickými styky Zdenka Nejedlého a má za cíl zhodnotit jeho kulturní aktivity v Litomyšli. Zde pak jsou základem pro anylýzu tri velké výstavy z let 1931, 1932 a 1934, pricemž jsou zmíneny i další kulturní aktivity Nejedlého a jeho spolupracovníku. V neposlední rade se tato práce snaží osvetlit problematiku neudelení zejména druhého castného obcanství Zdenku Nejedlému v roce 1936 a širší okolnosti této skutecnosti. Odhalení této problematiky zapadne do politických styku, jež Nejedlý udržoval ve meste. Základním východiskem mi v této práci bude korespondence Zdenka Nejedlého, kterou vedl s mnoha osobnostmi meziválecné Litomyšle. Korespondence je obcas dosti neformálního rázu a umožnuje sondu nejen do nitra osobnosti Zdenka Nejedlého, ale i lidí, s nimiž ji udržoval. Zde...

Ageism and Elder Abuse and Neglect

The aim of this work is theoretical mapping of the problem of ageism and its extreme form which represents the abuse of older people. In the first part of the work there is a space devoted to the description of ageism as a serious social problem, which uses the age as a basic organizational structure of society and sees it as a reason for discrimination. I am trying to summarize the current knowledge in the sources, motives, contexts, symptoms and consequences of this phenomenon. In more detail, I am dealing with three basic ageism burdened areas of public life, such as the labor market, health service and media. The second part of the work is focused on the extreme demonstration of ageism, the abuse of older people. I describe occurring forms of elder abuse and use case reports to attest its destructiveness and high social dangerousness. I summarize the theoretical concept of the phenomenon, known Czech researches, the possibility of prevention and assistance to victims with an emphasis on the activities of the ŽIVOT 90 association.

This thesis is dealing with an asset and debt evaluation. After a brief explanation of problems importance the thesis turns to tangible evaluation basis and essential components of accounting legislation - e.g. the original valuation and day balance sheet valuation. Indeed, the biggest room is dedicated for evaluation metods used for tangible units of assets and debts evaluation not only from the point of view of Czech accounting legislation but also International accounting standards.

Impact of Physical Activities on Mental Development of Individuals with Ethopedic Problems.

Název práce: Vliv pohybových aktivit na psychický vývoj jedinců s etopedickými problémy. Title of the diploma thesis: Influence of movement activites on mental development of individuals with ethopedic problems. Cíle práce Cílem práce bylo shrnout informace a mé praktické zkušenosti v oblasti problematiky výchovy a vzdělávání jedinců (klientů) s poruchami chování. Analyzovat praktické uplatňování školních a mimoškolních pohybových aktivit a zjistit vliv těchto aktivit na psychický vývoj klientů v Dětském domově se školou v Horním Maršově. Metoda Jedná se o analýzu, která byla zaměřena na porovnávání výchovných a vzdělávacích výsledků osmi vybraných klientů Dětského domova se školou v Horním Maršově, kdy polovina klientů se věnovala během svého pobytu v DDŠ i nepovinným mimoškolním pohybovým aktivitám a druhá polovina klientů absolvovala pouze povinné hodiny školní a mimoškolní tělesné výchovy.Záměrně byli vybráni klienti různých věkových kategorií. Věk klientů se pohyboval mezi 12 až 15lety. Analýza probíhala v letech 2003 - 2005. Výsledky Z vyhodnocené analýzy je patrné, že klienti, do jejichž náplně volného času patří i nepovinné pohybové aktivity, jsou oproti ostatním klientům těmito činnostmi dostatečně motivováni k lepším výchovným a zčásti i vzdělávacím výsledkům, jsou u nich lépe vytvářeny a...

Valuation of the MSV Metal Studénka, a. s.

The aim of this thesis is to determine the market value of joint-stock company MSV Metal Studénka for 31. 12. 2015. The thesis is divided into theoretical-methodological and practical part. The former contains the definitions of terms, techniques and methods which relate to not only the problems of company appreciation but also insolvency law focusing on corporate restructuring. In the practical part, the theoretical groundwork is applied. After the initial introduction of the company including a brief description of the course of insolvency proceeding, a strategic and financial analysis is conducted. After the evaluation of the company's financial health and future perspective, a division of assets into operationally necessary and unnecessary, analysis and value generator prognosis, financial plan formulation and the evaluation itself follow. For the final company appreciation, the discounted cash flow method in the variant of free cash flow to the firm (FCFF) is used.

The main objective of this thesis is to determine the market value of the compa-ny's equity DEKTRADE, Plc. to the valuation date 1st January 2016. The sec-ondary objective is to predict the growth of the market. These predictions should help the company's management. Thesis will be typically divided into theoretical part that aims to introduce readers to the issues of valuation and introduce methods that will be used in subsequent practical part. The practical part begins with a strategic analysis to be followed by a financial analysis. Following the distribution of assets to the operationally necessary and unnecessary forecast of value and a financial plan. The actual awards will be made using the method DCF entity. Results will be compared with the book value of equity.
