Vegetation diversity of abandoned settlements
Poslová, Kateřina ; Vojta, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kačmar, Martin (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I am concerned with influence of abandoned settlement and historical land use on vegetation. I am interested in settlements of different age and type - from ancient settlements, medieval castles and villages to villages that were abandoned in modern times. I am also concerned in diversity, composition and development of plant communities and with influence on soils. I am also interested in the question of persistence of anthropogenic influence on landscape. Settlement and land use largely influence landscape. They alter diversity of vegetation, quality of soil and relief of landscape. These changes can be lasting or maybe irreversible. Nutrients are acumulated and pH is risen in abandoned settlements. Nitrophilous and ruderal species are also much more frequent than in ancient forests around. Human can enrich diversity of vegetation in landscape by his influence. Mutual comparison of influence between similar types of settlements in landscapes with different climate and sub-soil may be another direction in future research. Key words: abandoned settlements, medieval castles, villages, diversity, vegetation, secondary forest, historical land use, nutrients, pH
Community property focused on settlement after its termination
Linhartová, Aneta ; Thöndel, Alexandr (advisor) ; Frinta, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of my thesis is to analyse the new legal regulation of community property included in the "new" Czech civil code - Act No. 89/2012 Coll. - and in this connection, to focus mainly on the settlement after its termination. The new legislation of this issue is quite brief and there are many questions arising in this context which are not clear. The thesis is composed of nine chapters. Chapter one characterises the legal term of the community property and its basic features. Chapter two describes marital property relations in a historical context, beginning with their roots in the Roman law and continuing with particular historical periods of legal regulation of these relations on the territory of the current Czech Republic. Chapter three outlines an extent of the community property and its governance in the statutory arrangement. Chapter four is concerned with contractual modifications of the community property and with an arrangement established by a court decision. A part of this chapter also investigates a question of protection of third parties in the connection with the community property. Chapter five deals with possible ways how the community property terminates. It explores both the ways of the termination of the community property although marriage continues and the ways of the...

Vnoučková, Darina ; Štefan, Ivo (advisor) ; Klír, Tomáš (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis is about relationship between Early- to High Middle Ages settlements and Romanesque and Gothic churches located in the Czech county Benešov. It is also focused on roads and their Early- to High Middle Ages placement that had an impact on the settlement of this region. Pivotal part of this thesis consists of two catalogues: the Catalogue of Archeological Sites and the Catalogue of Churches. The first catalogue provides a summary of all discovered archeological sites with findings from Early Middle Ages to early phase of High Middle Ages. They are supplemented with archeological sites which are located outside of the demarcated area, but are simultaneously closely related to the settlement of the region. Data from the Catalogue of Churches were used to creation of maps which are depicting the settlement of the region in different time periods. The whole picture is completed with evidence from written sources that are closely related to ruler's, catholic church's, early nobility's and later noble families' possession of properties. The second catalogue contains detailed description of all discovered (and assumed) churches from Romanesque and Gothic periods. Information from the catalogue are visualized in maps that picture their construction in different eras. Due to frequent...

1 Abstract This diploma thesis describes domestic architecture in the western Black Sea area in the time range between two half of the 6th century and the first half of the third century BC. Geographically, the studied settlement is located mainly in today's Bulgaria and on the coast Romania and Ukraine. Locations in the northwestern Black Sea area (e.g. Olbia, Berezan) have (in the Greek colonies in their neighborhood) much better preserved domestic architec- ture than sites in the western Black Sea area. The work is historical and culturally divided into Greek and Thracian settlement. Based on a comparison is made interpretation of the above mentioned settlements. The aim was to characterize individual sites, interpret and compared with each other, or finds analogous parallels especially in the Greek world. The work should refer to the func- tioning of domestic architecture (or the whole domestic urban), as in Greek cities in defined areas of the western and northwestern Black Sea area, and in places that were inhabited by the original (Thracian) population. Interpretative result of the work needed to improve under- standing of cultural relations between Greeks and Thracians which determined urban devel- opment mainly in the inner Thrace. Pokorná, Kamila ; Bláhová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Smejtek, Lubor (referee)
The thesis presents the results of evaluation of archaeological finds from the two settlements in Písek (site "nemocnice") and Topělec. Both settlements are dated to the Late Bronze Age. With respect to the fact that only Late Bronze Age sites of smaller extent have been evaluated and published in South Bohemia so far, the studied settlements offer a more complex view on the composition of ceramic finds in this period and region. Both sites provide ceramic finds analogous to those from Central and Wes Bohemia, however, they do not differ significantly from other South Bohemian sites.

This Master's diploma thesis elaborates on the history of Odry region, particularly the period after World War II, when it underwent a significant transformation.
