Satisfying of children's needs in preschool facilities

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of satisfying needs of preschool age children in preschool facilities. The theoretical part of this work provides an insight into the curricular reform in the Czech Republic and a view of perception of children needs by the society. Furthermore there is has been research into the contemporary trend of coordinating a family life with an employment. This was one of the reasons for founding of business kindergartners. A summarization of current legal conditions of establishing of business kindergartners is included as well. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes a relation of curricula documents and satisfying children needs in the kindergarten. Important sections of this work are summaries of various models of needs and list of means of satisfying the needs in the kindergarten. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to do a qualitative survey in differences between business and state kindergartens in satisfying needs of children. The result of the survey show that are differences in surroundings created in order to satisfy children needs while approaches for the satisfying of children needs were similar.
Women between family and work. Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague

Diploma thesis "Women between family and work: Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague" is focused on current problem which is being dealt with on national as well as supranational level. The aim of this thesis is to describe the factors influencing harmonization of family and professional life of the mothers with children from two to six years old in region of Prague and find out whether the policy of state and regional governments reflect these factors. Chosen factors are described from the macro perspective but individual influences are also dealt with. On one hand the attention is allocated to state policy, especially from the point of view of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, but also from the point of selected municipality - municipal authority of Prague and municipality Prague 17.
Use of Orff's musical instruments in non-musical activities at nursey institutions

The aim of my bachetor's work is to characterize and to outline thein limes within non-musical activities at nursery institutions. Besides, the work explores if the more frequent use of Orff's instruments may improve pupil's rappost towards the instruments. All these activities are adapter for children of pre-school age. The work also contains the appendix related to the use of worksheets or images.

Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The goal of my diploma thesis named "Cooperation between special learning centers and kindergartens that integrate children with disabilities" is to point out issues of integration process in common kindergartens.The first part deals with theoretical knowledge in the field and explains technical terms of special and preschool education. Then it focuses on a current legislative framework in Czech Republic which covers integration of children with disabilities into kindergartens. The second part of the thesis is research realized among teachers in preschool educational facilities. Its main purpose was to find how the integration process works and what are experiences of teachers who teach classes where are children with disabilities. The conclusion displays the meaning and how important it is to integrate children with disabilities in kindergartens. In my thesis - Drama Education in Forest Kindergartens - I am describing the environment, philosophy and ways of the Czech forest kindergatens. I am specifying how the environment of those kindergartens influences the use of drama education - the natural space being the most influential feature. The thesis includes analysis of dramatic activities in three forest kindergartens which I visited and describtions of my own drama education projects implemented in Forest Kindergarten Pramínek (Světice, CZE): The Conference of Birds (educational project), Djiro and Four Sacred Scrolls (theatre performance), Dramatic education for forest kindergarten teachers (seminar).
Prognosis of Schools Attendance in the Town Šternberk Using Time Series

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of both demographic data and the analysis of the nursery and primary schools in the town of Šternberk. The main purpose of the text is determination of prognosis of children in these school facilities depending on the number of births. This prognosis is compared to the current situation in kindergartens and schools. Statistical methods of time series are used to achieve these objectives.

Inclusion in the field of preschool education in the Czech Republic in 2015

The bachelor thesis pursues the inclusion in the field of preschool education in the Czech Republic and its impacts on children with special educational needs as well as on children without special educational needs. The theoretical part is focused on the development of special pedagogy, the definition of the terms of integration and inclusion, the opinions of experts on inclusion, and the legislative and financial support of inclusion from the state. In addition, the possibilities of the integration for disabled children are described in this part. In the practical part the analysis of the questionnaire survey is performed which leads to the conclusion that inclusion has rather positive impacts on children in preschool education provided that there are suitable conditions for inclusion. Nowadays there is still a demand for services of special nursery schools despite mostly positive attitudes to the trend of inclusive education.

This thesis deals with use of dramatic education in kindergarten. It compares goals, possibilities and ways of preschool education and dramatic education. The thesis offers a dramatic education project, which originates from the book of Ottfried Preussler "Little With", further on it decribes and evaluates the implementation and outcome of the project, and reflects the feelings of children, their parents and classroom teachers.
