Measuring and regulation of computer controlled solar systems: Vizualization of energetic systems
Vlčnovská Kotlíková, Silvie ; Mašek, Ivan (referee) ; Půčková, Helena (advisor)
This work is oriented on study and evaluation of performance of real operating solar system. There was made analysis of actual technological unit and there was suggested mode of measuring of nodal parameters. There was made interconnection between the head operating unit of the solar system and the web server. And there was prepared software for grafical image of time and temperature dependence and for data transfer to ready web application. It primarily talks about increase of efficiency of real technological unit through regulating of parameter that is using up of accumulated energy.
Development of methods for analysys road safety barriers in terms of dynamic effects
Koudelka, Ivan ; Krejsa,, Martin (referee) ; prof. Ing. Alois Materna, CSc., MBA (referee) ; Salajka, Vlastislav (advisor)
The presented work analyses the methodology and approach of the legislation. It presents in the press presented results of numerical modelling of the impact of vehicles crashed into barriers that are being solved in the Czech Republic and worldwide. It presents a recommendation of a methodology for assessing crash barriers. The methodology follows the basic principles used in the TP 101 and EN 1991-1-1. The kinetic energy of the vehicle at the moment of impact is replaced with substitute static force, whose effects are comparable with those of a vehicle collision. The supporting structure of crash barriers is implemented in compliance with means of statics. The calculation includes the vehicle deformation, which represents the real distribution of the energy absorbed by the deformation of the vehicle and the energy that crash barriers need to absorb. The proposed methods allow to take into account non-linear behaviour of the structure both in terms of geometry and in terms of material nonlinearity. The work also deals with the interpretation of various types of support structures in the computational model. A specific case is used for a demonstration of a way of modelling the elastic supporting column of crash barriers in the soil, or modelling the friction of a loose concrete block over the surface. To ensure the proper position of interconnected loose blocks corresponding to the reality, a method of modelling the place of a possible contact of the breakthrough is drafted. A significant contribution to the more accurate calculation is achieved by sequential increase of the load on the construction by using load increment and measurement of energy increases absorbed by the deformation in each step. The presented methodology is an effective tool to assess crash barriers. For the application of this tool, using common resources and facilities available to almost every designer dealing with statics of structures is sufficient. In conclusion, the knowledge obtained fr
Underground Gas Storages
Flodr, Jan ; Škorpík, Jiří (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
Natural gas is one of the main energy resources in the world. In case of countries without their own resources, it is very important how and where from they import this raw material and whether they utilize it effectively. The aim of this thesis is to describe the supply of the Czech Republic concerning natural gas and underground gas storage.
Photovoltaic, as an alternative source of electricity
Honka, Pavel ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with alternative sources of energy and it concentrates on a photovoltaic. There are represented the main types of solar cells, the principles of their functioning and methods of increasing their efficiency. There is also a summary of possibilities of connection of the photovoltaic system and related methods of energy accumulation. On the basis of above mentioned extent of information there is suggested a project of photovoltaic power station which supplies a holiday house by produced energy.
Identity Background
Kleinerová, Zuzana ; Kleinerová, Klára (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis Background identity is a series of events through which I am trying to find a harmony between the magic of art and life. I decided to initiate the situation, "performance" mediating an authentic, strong feelings. I tend to performance associated with life in the self-reflective approach. Based in my own performative practice in which the strength and authenticity is reflected primarily in the exchange of energy between the audience and the performer. I started to define an ideal conditions for performance to achieve this exchange, authentic experience and mutual perception of the situation within the relationship between "performer" and "spectator". In November 2015 I planned "authentic performances " series . The mutual forming of "performing" act I have anchored in the concept of identity, which is infinitely formed in relationships and the never-ending negotiation process. In the name of authenticity I am exposing myself within the anonymity of public space and waiting for the moment of identification. Waiting for concrete spectator who is already a part of me within a certain social role. Unexpected intervention into the everyday life of concrete person make the opportunity of authentic experience. Experience which is a part of his everyday life completes the action, giving the context. During the realization I got the opportunity to exhibit in the Palais de Tokyo. Aware of the significance of this opportunity for the development of my own artistic career I have decided to accepted it as a challenge. Although the terms of institution are utter contradiction of those conditions I had defined previously for authentic experience. In the name of authenticity and my principles I decided to be present in the role of spectator. To be invisible to this prestigious gallery. Be invisible to the artistic group Delta Total through which I had the opportunity to exhibit. To be inside and outside in the same time. The starting point of the last part is a necessity with the goal to get a master's degree. The necessity of outcome for jury can also betray my ideals of living authentic event. I should mediate all the experience of past events (to date 20th of April- thirty-three events) which happened in so many different places in the space of "Malá Amerika" in Brno...
Measurement of Cooler Efficiency and design of aerodynamic space
Částka, Michal ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
When measuring the effectiveness of air coolers on standard PC processors, there is considerable errors. Ambient air in which energy is transferred from the cooler in the form of heat is inconsistent and unpredictable. The aerodynamic space can simulate different air flow and thus ensure optimum measurement conditions and to minimize the impact of errors on the resulting value of efficiency.
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CENTRAL BUILDING PLAVEČ – PREPARATION AND ORGANIZATION OF CONSTRUCTION
Černý, Karel ; Kotek, Lukáš (referee) ; Biely, Boris (advisor)
This thesis deals with reconstruction of the home for the elderly Plaveč main building. These reconstruction is primarily interior renovation, the rooms of clients and staff facilities, but also the surrounding of the building. All work will be in full operation. Consideration of this factor in the organization of construction is the main subject of this thesis, which shall include traffic contexts, costing, budget, time schedule, equipment of construction site, construction machinery, technology procedure, occupational safety and resources.

Tárnok, Gábor ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis studies thermo-pumps with special regard to using Stirling-cycle and the Vuilleumiers concept.
Advanced Stochastic Programming Models in Power Engineering
Pavelka, Ondřej ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis applies stochastic optimization in the field of the power engineering. In the thesis first part, the needed mathematical theory is described, specifically mathematical, linear, nonlinear, integer and stochastic programming. The second part deals with the heating plant, in which heat is generated by gas and biomass boilers. The aim of this thesis is to design a model for the schedule planning of these boilers. The model is based on two stage stochastic programming with scenario approach. Then the model is solved by GAMS software. In the final part of the text, the focus is on the model sensitivity analysis and suggestions for future improvement.
The polyfunctional house
Fiala, Pavel ; Sedlák, Radek (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
Subject matterś thesis is elaborate a project documentation for structural permission for a multi-functional building. Object is situated on the outskirts of town Třebíč. The property is slightly sloped to the south side. The basisc are made from contrete strips. The grand plan of the house consists from rectangles. The house is made by a brick technology of a ceramic blocks. The building is roofed with mono-pitched roofs.
