Lipid Extraction from Algae Trachydiscus Minutus.
Rousková, Milena ; Kohoutková, J. ; Bicová, M. ; Šolcová, Olga ; Kaštánek, František ; Hanika, Jiří
It is characteristic for some species of algae that they contain lipids. Moreover, their structure contains unsaturated fatty acids. That is of particular importance mainly due to the presence of nutritionally valuable omega-3 fatty acids, which strongly supports the health condition of a person when consumed. An exceptional position belongs to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), so called 20:5n3 in physiological literature. EPA is an omega-3 fatty acid and it is sometimes called the timnodonic acid1. Its molecule contains 20 carbons with 5-cis-alkene bonds. The first double bond is located at the third carbon from the omega end. It is therefore polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) and is a precursor for prostaglandin E3 and/or tromboxane synthesis with significant health support effects. Another important place in human metabolism is occupied by alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is also an essential fatty acid. A human body converts this acid to eicosapentaneoic acid (EPA). This process significantly reduces diabetes and some types of patient's allergies.

CZECH NATURALISTIC RURAL DRAMA IN POSTMODERN PRODUCTIONS
Pokorný, Vít ; VEDRAL, Jan (advisor) ; FRANZ, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis analyses several plays of postmodern Czech naturalistic rural drama. By using comprehensive analysis and numerous examples, the work deals with the key question why traditional realistic dramas based on the mimetic principles are so attractive for the nonconformist and provocative authors, generally known as postmodernists. The work introduces the term postmodernism as a new philosophical way of seeing Euro-American civilization but also as an artistic style, which gives these thoughts an aesthetical basis in the context of Czech and also world history and culture. To get the essential knowledge of the topic, the main principles of realistic and naturalistic poetics are introduced. The work is trying to find an answer to the question ask above by analysing seven plays of postmodern Czech naturalistic rural drama. The analysis is based on experience of spectators and readers and also numerous examples from postmodern literature, film, fine art and music. The key factor of this analysis is the conflict of archetypal human essence and today often discussed absence of transpersonal order, which affects humans even against their will. The interpreted texts work with the topics of human struggle with love, faith, responsibility and compassion, which seem to be very attractive for the postmodern artists. These kinds of texts can give us an evidence of the epoch we live in. Whether the personal freedom ruined human faith in some greater sense or the sexual revolution actually buried the metaphysical essence of love. As an author, I came to the conclusion, that discussed plays demonstrates a postmodern human as a schizophrenic being, denying under the influence of general moral status existence of universally valid order, in spite of seeking this order in its soul desperately. Introducing my own concept of “the great second”, I try to defend my conviction, that in this exhausting struggle, the art can be for human desired, purifying and fulfilling power

Furthermore, I describe the region in which the farm operates, including the assessment of competition. The practical part is focused on assessing the current state farms and to assess the proposed changes. This is a business plan, which aims to propose such changes in the structure of grown fruits, which should contribute to the diversification of farms and mitigating business risks. The result should be a financial benefit for the farm, respectively. propose such procedures, which would allow to employ another member of the family and the farm was sustainable for the next generation. The business plan is aimed at changing tracks grown fruits, to changes in its practices of cultivation and harvesting, taking full advantage of current opportunities farm so that the economic benefit was achieved as soon as possible, with due lowest cost. The project economically assessing the project from two perspectives - without the use of subsidies and their utilization. The proposed amendments seek to achieve the highest quality production, which is then preferably be sold. In the end, the project is evaluated and assessed the return on investment provided grants and without their support. It is also evaluated the possibility of further employment of a family member and the emergence of family farms.

Quantification of Elements in Plant Materials by Electrothermal Vaporization Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry
Šerá, Luisa ; Matějková, Stanislava ; Mestek, O.
This paper describes optimization and validation of operating conditions of electrothermal vaporization (ETV) inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) method for quantification of Ba, Ca, Co, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, P, Sr and Zn in plant materials. Besides the optimization of the temperature program, the selection of the gaseous modifier and the spectral wavelengths to be measured, it was studied how the sample quantity affects the result quality of the developed method. During the validation process, the accuracy and precision of the method were checked by analysis of a certified reference material. Limits of detection were estimated by analyses of blank samples. For almost all previously mentioned elements, the method meets requirements commonly applied on analyses by ETV combined with ICP-OES.
