Interaction between teacher and pupils during a Biology lesson at elementary school and lower-level of grammar school.

This Bachelor thesis deals with communication in science class, especially interaction between teacher and students at a second grade of elementary schools and at a lower grade of multi - year high schools (gymnasiums). The aim of the thesis was to analyze the length of speeches of individual participants, the way of information exchange and the overall structure of communication during selected Science lessons. The theoretical part deals in detail with communication in general, but also with appropriate and inappropriate means of communication,which can be reflected in the following effectiveness of the communication. Emphasis is placed on pedagogical communication, its structure and participation of individual speakers. Practical part of the thesis was based on collection of qualitative and quantitative data, which served both more detailed description of communication structures and with determination frequency of questions and answers asked as well as length of the speech from individual participants of the conversation. A total of seven lessons of science teaching by different teachers in different elementary schools in the South Bohemia Region were analysed according to the established methodology. It was found that the most common method of teacher-student interaction was asking the teacher's questions, which were answered by the student. The monological interpretation was much less represented in the lessons. Communication also took place betwen students in group work. The IRF structure was the main pillar of interaction in the observed hours. The results show that the IRF structure and its modifications constituted the vast majority of all communicative exchanges. It is confirmed by the results of the analysis of lessons, including illustrative examples.
Changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and students as a result of the coronavirus pandemic

This bachelor's thesis deals with changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and pupils as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus affected the entire world, including the Czech Republic. In March 2020, Czech schools succumbed to the nationwide order to close schools and were forced to start distance education, which required a completely different method of communication than face-to-face. The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains basic concepts related to interpersonal communication, analyses communication in the pedagogical environment, i.e. between teachers and pupils. It also describes the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Czech education, the course of distance learning and types of digital technologies that were used at that time. The practical part is focused on a mixed research investigation that will reveal what changes in pedagogical communication between teachers and pupils have occurred as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The chosen methods of data collection are a questionnaire survey that will be carried out among pupils and a semi-structured interview with selected teachers.

This bachelor's thesis deals with pedagogical communication in practical teaching at a selected secondary vocational school. The theoretical part, based on the analysis of the academic literature and the subsequent final synthesis of knowledge, defines the basic concepts of communication and interaction, pedagogical communication and other concepts associated with it. Specifically, it is the characteristics of pedagogical communication, its participants, communication rules, communication skills of the teacher and feedback provided to students. The practical part of the work presents the results of an explorat or survey. The aim of the practical part is to find out how the communication between pupils and teachers takes place in practical teaching at a selected secondary vocational school. Whether pupils receive room for self-expression from their teachers and whet her teachers provide them with feedback. The exploratory survey is carried out using questionnaires. The respondents are pupils of the last year of a selected secondary vocational school in the Vysočina region. Data from questionnaires are evaluated by common statistical methods. Based on the results a recommendation for pedagogical practice is formulated.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on pedagogical communication in teaching a professional subject from the perspective of a high school student. The work contains a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part aims to explain the concept of communication and divide communication into sub-forms. It also describes the relationship between the student and the teacher and specifies the rules of communication between the actors. It points out the level between teacher and student on their forms of communication and how the feedback takes place. The practical part of the work, processes and evaluates the questionnaire survey. Questionnaire, content of 15 closed questions, 1 semi-closed question and 3 open questions, which gave the respondents the opportunity to fully express their own opinion. The respondents were pupils of the 1st and 3rd year of the graduation field of Agribusiness. The questionnaire was filled in and sent back by 40 respondents, ie 100% of the respondents. The main goal of the survey was to find out the opinion on the way of communication of a selected teacher of a professional subject in teaching and outside it.

The bachelor thesis is focused on pedagogical communication in teaching of practical education from the point of view of the vocational students at selected secondary vocational school. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The aim of the theoretical par is to define communication and other concepts with it. Specifically, it focuses on pedagogical communication, characteristics of possible communication barriers, providing feedback, describing the vocational teacher – vocational student relationship and vocational learning. The theoretical part uses the method of analysis, comparison and synthesis of theoretical knowledge from literary and other reference sources. The aim of the practical parts is to find out process of communication between the vocational teacher and vocational students. It focuses on the positive and negative of communication, from the point of view of the vocational students. The practical part is realized by questionnaire survey. Respondents are vocational students of the first to the fourth class of the study program of Tourism and Agribusiness of the Higher Professional and Secondary agriculture and technical school in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. The results of practical part will be evaluated and the findings will serve as recommendation for education practice.
Influence of the pedagogical comunication on the educational process within the university

The thesis deals with pedagogical communication from the point of view of university students and the experience gained from their studies. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. Each chapter introduces the most important concepts of this thesis - communication, pedagogical communication, educational process, and the teacher as an important person in the student's life. The theoretical part prepares the reader for the research part and provides initial insight into the issues of pedagogical communication and their functions and rules. The practical part includes an introduction to the chosen method for the research - Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). For the research, I used key excerpts and interview responses from three full-time students at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The main indicators were the students' acquired experiences and insights into communication and relationships with teachers on the University grounds. The respondents are aware of the influence that teachers have on them and this is reflected mainly in non-verbal communication.
The use of information technologies in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers

The final work entitled "The use of information technology in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers" deals with information technologies used by preschool children, how they work with them and how their use is reflected in preschool education. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains chapters on the development and history of information and communication technologies, the impact of information technology on children and youth, the risks and benefits of using information technology. In the practical part, based on mixed research (observation, questionnaire survey and interviews with kindergarten teachers), research questions related to the goal of the bachelor's thesis are answered.
Question as a part of pedagogical communication

This diploma thesis deals with a question as a part of educational communication. The aim of the thesis is to analyze educational dialogue at primary school with an emphasis on the function, frequency and type of teachers' and pupils' questions. The first part of the thesis explores the theoretical background of function, frequency and typology of questions. It involves also the topic of the waiting time after asking a question, identifying the pupil who should answer, the quality of pupil's answer as well as teacher's response to it. The theoretical background is complemented by research based on analyses of three video records of lessons and interviews with teachers. One of the key findings of the research is that teacher's style of questioning is determined by his conception of teaching and the aims set.
Teacher Interaction Style in Connection with His Work with the Key Competence for Learning

The aim of this master thesis is to discover correlation trends between teacher interaction style and his extent of providing opportunities for teaching how to learn. According to the results the aim is to create a prototype of the teacher interaction style, who has got the best dispositions to provide opportunities for teaching how to learn. The first and the second chapter deal with theoretical basis. Key competences, especially key competence for learning are depicted in the first chapter. The second chapter focuses on a topic of pedagogical communication and interaction and it is concluded with a discussion of the interaction style of the teacher. All the details on this research are described in the third chapter. The methodology is topped with the results, discussions and the overall finish. At the end of the work the bibliographic references, attachments, lists of figures and tables are revealed.
