Church Music in Jihlava and its Development with regard to the Choir of the Church of Saint Jacob
Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Pecirka's National Calender and its authors
Slavíková, Šárka ; Sochorová, Ludmila (referee) ; Štěpánová, Irena (advisor)
The core topic ofthis thesis is National Calendar (Národní Kalendář), later also known as Pečírka' s National Calendar (Pečírkův Národní Kalendář), and its formers. National Calendar had been published in Bohemia yearly for almost a hundred years, from the 1850's till the end of the 1940's. The success of National Calendar was undeniably the result of the efforts of Dr. Josef Pečírka, the founder of the Calendar, and his wife Mariana, who carried forward the tradition of publishing the popular book after her husband's premature death. However, not even her own death brought the end to the Calendar; the Pečírka family kept compiling and publishing it regularly each year until 1949. ln this thesis, the author focused mainly on the period 1858 - 1904, the era spanning between publishing of the first issue of the Calendar and the death of Mariana Pečírková who represented the first generation of its creators. The first chapter represents an introduction to general history of calendars. It gives an account of inception of calendar as a system, describes the first means of its recording and the later shift towards book-like calendars, and depicts the evolution of calendars in the world. This chapter also mentions the predecessors of classical calendar literature and follows the bloom of calendars in Bohemia,...

The Russian Translations of A Clockwork Orange
Václavová, Andrea ; Hlaváček, Antonín (advisor) ; Hříbková, Radka (referee)
The diploma thesis "Russian translations of A. Burgess' novel lA Clockwork Orange" deals with the question of translation of Russian words used in the book written in English into Russian. It also deals with the problem whether the former aesthetic value of the original is being preserved in the translated works as well. You will discover linguistic and literary analyses of the original version and its three Russian translations (which were published in Russia under the title 'Заводной апельсин') and a comparison of them. The Sinélščikov's translation seems to be the most successful at the first sight. He translates the Russian expressions used in English by English and American words. But only if you read the whole book you will find out that he slightly changes the original plot and thus he also shifts the meaning of the novel. In other words he does not preserve the original aesthetic value of Burgess' work. In comparison, Nëtësovova's translation is the most successful of all as for the maintenance of artistic value of the book. Paradoxically, the most often published Bošnjak's translation is excessively vulgar and it is the less imaginative translation of all. His translation does not give the reader the possibility to get known or to understand the meaning of Burgess' literary work. Powered by TCPDF...

Bank of Czechoslovak legions in 1919-1938
Brádlerová, Daniela ; Kubů, Eduard (advisor)
Předkládaná disertační práce má za cíl zpracovat pokud možno celistvý obraz, na československém meziválečném peněžním trhu do značné míry ojedinělé, bankovní instituce - Banky československých legií. Těžiště práce spočívá ve sledování důsledků hospodářských aktivit čsl. legií v Rusku, ideových motivů a politicko-vojenských okolností doprovázejících založení banky. Dále pak v analýze struktury banky a rozkrytí jejích obchodně podnikatelských aktivit v období I. republiky.

Analyse of fleet of Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihočeského kraje
Kyselová, Lucie ; Lešetický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Svobodová, Romana (referee)
In my dissertation there are all basic data and abstracts, which involve the questions of fleet of Zdravotnická záchranná služba Jihočeského kraje. Mostly I was concentrated on the structure of fleet as well as costs. Currently I tried to describe the problems of logistics and fleet management. Through the analysis of fleet I solved the questions related to costs and incomes of this company. Further I prepared structural analyse, which concentrates on the number and types of cars, also the satisfaction, which is connected with their using. The detailed analysis enabled me to penetrate and explore the branch of costs and incomes. All data are described with graphs and tables.

Synthesis of Specifically Substituted Heterocycles via Catalytic Reactions
Kratochvíl, Jiří ; Pour, Milan (advisor) ; Kotora, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Dalimil (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry Candidate Mgr. Jiří Kratochvíl Supervisor prof. RNDr. Milan Pour, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis Synthesis of Specifically Substituted Heterocycles via Catalytic Reactions This Ph.D. thesis deals with the synthesis of γ-alkylidene-α,β-unsaturated δ-lactones and lactams. Migita- Stille cross-coupling served as the key step in their preparation. Catalysis with palladium black was applied to the synthesis of the lactones and we demonstrated that it doesn't act as heterogeneous catalyst. Instead, it's only a precursor for catalytically active species, which is generated in situ and its true nature is unknown. The palladium nanoparticles are most likely responsible for the catalysis, although involvement of complexed atomic palladium cannot be excluded. Palladium black catalysis was also successfully applied to the synthesis of a series of structurally different substrates, which demonstrates its versatility and it was also proved that the catalyst can be easily recycled by simple filtration. An unusual Tsuji-Trost reaction then enabled transfer of the alkylidene substituent of the lactones to C5 furnishing polysubstituted heterocycles.

Use of Grant Funds for the Realization of the Construction Project
Růžička, Jan ; Adlofová, Petra (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
This master's thesis describes an issue of preparation and evaluation of investment projects which are co-financed by EU funds. A practical example of the specific investment project is used to demonstrate a usefulness of co-financing by these funds. This investment project is processed as a case study which includes both financial and economic evaluation of the project. This evaluation also includes assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of this investment project.
