The influence of healthy and resilient family on the raising of a child

This thesis mainly emphasizes a healthy and resilient family and its cardinal importance on a child's development. A parent's effect on the child is of central interest of the whole thesis. First, the family system and its subsystems will be briefly described. After that follows an outline of mutual interactions and family relationships. The next chapter deals with changes and family development over time. The contemporary family and its influence on optimal child evolution are also described. At the same time, the family life cycle and its periods are explored. Health family functioning and the concept of a functional family will continue after the important theory. There is also emphasis on the positive influence of parents on the satiation of a child's needs. The next significant part of the thesis is the chapter about family resilience. Except concept definitions, this chapter will pay particular attention to basic historical context and the factors that influence family resistance. After that, a model of family resilience will follow and a commentary will accompany it. Mention is also given to child resilience. The thesis will conclude with an analysis of two case studies. Formation of children's salue orientations of older pupilage

The purpose of the thesis of the author Blanka Gubánová titled Formation of Children's Value Orientations of Older Pupilage is to deal with values, value orientations and value systems which are formed in the process of the human development. There are many factors to be related to the adoption of individual's values which are the part of sociocultural environment where the individual lives. The relation between them is therefore the object of the discussion in the first part (chapter 1 - 5). The issue of the values, value orientations and value systems are discussed from different perspectives. In the sixth and following the seventh chapters we analysed the developmental periods to show the gradual human maturation, self-evaluation, moral development which is reflected in the formation of value systems and orientations. The special attention is paid to adolescents.

Barbora Vaňásková Supervisor: Prof. PharmDr. Martin Doležal, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis: Derivatives of pyrazinecarboxylic acid as potential antituberculotics (synthesis and biological evaluation) This doctoral thesis deals with searching for potential antituberculotic drugs derived from pyrazinecarboxylic acid. Thesis contains theoretical part, in which problematics of tuberculosis, factors hindering the effectiveness of treatment (development of resistance and HIV coinfection) and current therapeutic practice are outlined. An individual chapter is devoted to the composition of the mycobacterial cell wall. A brief overview of first-line and second-line antituberculars as well as drugs newly introduced into the clinical practice and promising derivatives in various phases of preclinical and clinical trials is further stated. Special attention is dedicated to pyrazinamide, current theories dealing with mechanism of action of this first-line antituberculotic drug and to ribosomal protein S1, a specific target of pyrazinecarboxylic acid. Mystery shopping

This diploma thesis deals with employee performance evaluation, especially in the field of direct retail and service providers. There are briefly mentioned particular evaluation methods in the theoretical part. Attention is focused on the mystery shopping method and its specificity from the psychological view. ln the practical part we write about research which has been realized in the CG company. The employee evaluation was carried out by using test shopping in two terms (autumn 2005, spring 2006). ln the final chapter of the second part we summarize important conclusions. We discuss factors that affect the validity of the evaluation and positive contribution of MS for the company and we test some particular hypothesis about the difference between evaluations in both MSs. We identity weak points in individua! performance and team performance and define its development potential i ty.

Distorted cartogram of virtual world of Czech newspapers

This article, entitled "Distorted Cartogram of Virtual World of Czech Newspapers", examines a coverage of international news by two dailies. The basic research question was, which countries are covered most. The presented study attempts to identify which countries dominate international news, and explain why this countries attract so big attention of editors (or gatekeepers). The research activity was focused on the application of a quantitative content analysis by Bernard Berelson. But the analysis of examined newspapers Blesk and Mlada fronta DNES was focused not only on a number of coverage but also a size of articles dedicated to particular countries. Next variables was source of news, and presence of graphic supplements. Interpretation of results is based on a study of Galtung and Ruge about the structure of foreign news and news values and on a world system theory. Some of the results agree with previous findings. It shows that elite nations or core nations in the world system often dominante the flow of news and coverage in international communication. The results also confirm that geographical distance, economic ties and cultural affinity are not strong factors deciding, whether a international news event will be covered or not. Suicidal behaviour in adolescent age

The present thesis aims to concentrate available sources of scientific literature on adolescent suicidal behavior, which would also provide a tutu on certain issues holistic view. In the introductory part of the thesis points to the fact that suicidal behavior is being explored especially psychiatric disciplines because in psychiatric disorders are at high risk of suicidal behavior. The seriousness of this issue and the benefit of that statistical data on both the domestic and the World Health Organization, the number of suicide attempts and suicides are mentioned also the trends per decade for the Czech Republic (from r. 1990). In the next part of the thesis are presented in various forms of suicidal behavior with an indication of the usual motivation, quantitative data on the most frequently used methods of suicide in this country and abroad. In connection with the study of adolescent suicidal behavior are also explored in parallel manifestations of self-harm, stating the characteristic differences. EU Policy towards Eastern Partnership Countries. A Gap between Goals and Achievements

This study seeks to examine and assess the effectiveness of the Eastern Partnership Policy (EaP) of the European Union. Beside introduction of positive novelties of the Eastern Partnership, this paper gives a premium attention to scrutinize the possible limitations and shortfalls of EaP. Hence, the study aims to analyze some internal and external factors that complicate the effective functioning of the EaP. The inconsistency of the EU policy structure, the role of Russia and its Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU) in EAP, the ambivalent policy of some Member States (Germany and Italy are examined) toward the EaP, unconsidered discrepancy of eastern partners are analyzed and considered as prime reasons of ineffectiveness. In addition, examined case studies of Ukraine and Azerbaijan reveal that the EU's commitment to their "shared values" are controversial. This paper presents that the EU should find a balance between its economic/energy interests and normative values vis-a-vis Eastern Partners in order to fill the gap between its goals and achievements.

Application of the Theory of Statistics to Controlling Processes

This dissertation is considered to statistical control of call center. There are suggested a possible description of the center and identify key parameters which influence its performance on the base of measured informations. In this work is describe construction of a call center model which is used for generation specified scenarios of incoming phonecalls. This experimental data are analyzed, main factors which influence its efficienty are determined and principles which realization can be reached given targets are described. Basic attention lead to maximization of benefit and consequetive estimation optimal amount of operators. These principles as same as estimated dependances subserve as decision-making knowledge what amount of operators and theirs expedient combinations is optimal and for estimation of impact to efficiency and call center function in a case of making changes.

This thesis deals with analysis and application of partial components and methods of process strategic management. By those are first of all - analysis environs, competition and crucial inside factors, which affect in various measure are on entrepreneurial subjekt. On the basis of ascertained informations and evaluation of the contemporary state of company is determined the proposal of possible directions of development of company, with a view to innovation her position in the marketplace and suppression of weak pages of company.
