Sintering of Advanced Ceramic Materials
Pouchlý, Václav ; Svoboda, Jiří (referee) ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Maca, Karel (advisor)
Sintering is a one of the key step in a processing of bulk ceramic materials. New sintering methods were invented in the last years. These new sintering methods, according to their authors, can be used for obtaining finer final microstructure of ceramics only by modifying the heating schedule. This work is focused on an influence of the Two Step Sintering method on the final microstructure for oxide ceramics. Obtained experimental results have shown that the effectivity of the Two Step Sintering method is rising with crystallographic symmetry of used material. Thesis is also focused on a high-temperature dilatometry and concept of the Master Sintering Curve. This concept was used for calculation of the activation energy of sintering and finding different sintering mechanisms acting in the intermediate and final stage of sintering. Activation energy of sintering was compared with activation energy of grain growth with target to find the kinetic window. Kinetic window can allow a sintering without a grain growth. Master Sintering Curve method was also used in a pressure assisted unconventional sintering technique Spark Plasma Sintering. Master Sintering Curve applied to a Spark Plasma Sintering technique reveals and quantified different sintering mechanisms acting in Spark Plasma Sintering. These findings led to preparation of transparent tetragonal ZrO2.

Impact of river system structure on the genetic diversity of reed populations
Fuxová, Gabriela ; Fér, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kubátová, Barbora (referee)
Many plant species are closely related to river biotopes or to biotopes influenced by rivers. River systems create important linear corridors in ecosystems and directly or non-directly influence spatial spread of species in these environments. This offer many questions about species spread in this system. We can answer these questions by using molecular methods. Using 10 microsatellite (SSRs) primers, 202 individuals of Phragmites australis from 60 populations were analysed. Those analyses allowed reveal kinship of individuals, obtain information about spatial spread of populations and about spreading of common reed. Phragmites australis creates both - monoclonal and polyclonal - populations. Dependence of rate of clonality on environment was revealed. Populations from river banks are more monoclonal, populations from pond shores are more polyclonal. Populations are isolated. The highest percentage of variability was explained on among-population level. This is common for anemochoric species. Communication between populations is present, more on shorter distances. Evidence for vegetative spread was found on short distance. Generative spread is much more common. Long-distance spreading is mediated by generative diaspores - seeds. This spreading includes within-river spread, among-river spread and spreading...

IR Laser CVD OF Nanodisperse Ge-Si-Sn Alloys Obtained by Dielectric Breakdown of GeH4/SiH4/SnH4 Mixtures
Křenek, Tomáš ; Bezdička, Petr ; Murafa, Nataliya ; Šubrt, Jan ; Pola, Josef
Nowadays, great attention is devoted to Ge-Si-Sn ternary system, because Si1-x-yGexSny provides the potential of band gap engineering and tuning of the optical properties. IR laser irradiation of equimolar gaseous GeH4 + SiH4 + SnH4 + Ar mixture results in simultaneous decomposition of all three compounds and it allows deposition of nanostructured solid film. Analysis of the films by FTIR and Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis and electron microscopy revealed crystalline nanobodies of pure beta-Sn and crystalline nanoobjects of Ge1-x-ySixSny embedded in an amorphous metastable Ge-Si-Sn alloy. This process allows co-decomposition of all silicon, germanium and tin hydrides which is caused by combination of infrared multiple photon dissociation of absorbing silane and currently proceeding LIDB. This is followed by intermixing/clustering of extruded metal atoms in the gas phase.

Performance of the Care Contribution Agenda in the Municipality with Extended Scope of Dačice after the Social Reform Seen by Recipients of the Care Contribution.
ČURDOVÁ, Hana
Since January 1, 2007 a new social security benefit has been provided: Care Allowance. This benefit is regulated by Act No. 108 of 2006, about social services. The Act defines conditions of help and benefit distribution to people, dependent on other person's help, who got into a difficult social situation. I have chosen the topic, regarding Care Allowance, on the basis of my professional experience in this issue. The aim of this thesis was to survey opinions of Care Allowance beneficiaries (families with a disabled child), regarding office workers' work before and after social reform and find out the impact of the reform on beneficiaries. The theoretical part contains a short reference to the situation before passing the Law of Social Services, a short introduction of the Law of Social Services (effective from January 1, 2007) and social reform. Next part of the thesis describes Care Allowance after social reform, thus after January 1, 2012. It specifically contains: Care Allowance impact on social services sphere, claim conditions, extend of dependance, benefit amount and its payment, Care Allowance proceedings, terms of authorities, Care Allowance use and duties resulting from the law. The thesis describes in detail a social worker, his or her role and authority. A term "handicap" was defined in the conclusion of the theorethical part. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis elicits communication partners' opinions on office workers' work. The research question was: How do Care Allowance beneficiaries ( families with a disabled child) evaluate office workers' work before and after social reform? On the basis of the research question, I set four questions and worked with them during the research. The research sample consisted of twelve families with a disabled child, who were chosen on the basis of their free decision. These families were Care Allowance beneficiaries before and after social reform, which is essential here. The research was carried out by means of quantitative survey, an inquiry method and a method of semi-structured dialogue with the parent with a disabled child, who draws Care Allowance. According to the facts elicited from the communication partners, social reform is perceived rather negatively than positively. There is a significant difference between work of social workers of municipal authorities in Dačice and work of social workers of employment office in Dačice. Communication partners see differences in helpfulness, satisfaction, knowledge and workers' experience. Employment office workers are evaluated by communication partners very negatively, on the contrary municipal authorities workers' work is evaluated absolutely positively. Communication partners mention another serious problem, which is misfunction of Care Allowance payment, the benefit is paid out late, up to one month later. In the conclusion of the thesis, I suggest solving to the problematic situation, that was revealed in the research.

Group and cooperative learning in language teaching in the Czech Republic and Germany
Hufeislová, Gabriela ; Poláčková, Věra (referee) ; Kasíková, Hana (advisor)
The aim of this work is to theoretically determine the co-operative teaching in the current concept of teaching, to look for principles for its using, to determine its options in language teaching. The work has two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part it shows that the implementation of cooperative teaching in groups brings other demands for the teachers than the traditional concept of using the frontal forms and it shifts responsibility for learning to the learners themselves. It is described that its effectiveness is determined by respecting the whole system of co-operative teaching in a form of a few well-defined principles. Its application in language teaching offers opportunities to practise the language effectively and allows to use the language in natural situations, which is generally regarded the most effective and most natural method of learning the language. From the research it has shown that the co-operative teaching of languages is not applied in the lessons because the teachers do not have the skills and knowledge. Their knowledge has revealed only in the group work, but even here it is not used very often because of the lack of time.

Is Super-gross Wage Really Super-gross, World Nonstandard Mistake?
Braunová, Veronika ; Bartoň, Petr (advisor) ; Brožová, Dagmar (referee)
Super-gross wage is a gross wage increased by social insurance contributions paid by the employer. Since its introduction in the Czech Republic its non-standard has been discussed. The theoretical part alerts that the logic of super-gross wage is indisputable because it reveals the total wage costs of the employer per employee, leads to higher transparency between the employee and the state and finally social insurance contribution is a benefit paid by the employer to employee which increase his welfare so it should enter the tax base. A gross wage widespread with any benefit or allowance paid by the employer is for the purposes of this thesis entitled as a "super-gross wage". Analysis of the personal income tax shows that super-gross wage is non-standard worldwide but not unique. "Super-gross wage" is on the other hand a standard method of taxation of personal income used in 45 % of analysed countries.

Karyotype evolution of velvet spiders (Araneae: Eresidae)
Forman, Martin ; Král, Jiří (advisor) ; Rothová, Olga (referee)
Presented study is aimed to determine basic trends of karyotype evolution in velvet spiders (Eresidae; Araneae). Eresids are burrowing spiders; they includes also some social species. Karyotypes of 16 species of the family Eresidae as well as 2 species of the other families of the superfamily Eresoidea, Hersiliidae and Oecobiidae, are presented. Furthermore, DNA content and base proportion was determined in 14 species. In two species, DNA content of sex chromosomes was also measured. Obtained results revealed considerable variability of diploid numbers, and sex chromosomes systems in eresids. Obtained karyotype data allow to divide eresids into four groups. Karyotypes of the genera Gandanameno, Dresserus and S. lineatus are close to proposed ancestral karyotype of entelegynae spiders and they show the ancestral state of karyotype in velvet spiders. Karyotypes of S. lineatus and E. annulipes differ substantially from other representatives of the genera Stegodyphus and Eresus which indicates paraphyly of these genera. Karyotypes of basal forms are formed by acrocentric chromosomes. Further evolution of eresid karyotypes included considerable reduction of diploid numbers as well as changes of chromosome morphology. Social species of the genus Stegodyphus show tendency to reduce diploid numbers by...
