Analysis of Tourism Development in Klasterec nad Ohri

This bachelor thesis deals with tourism and its further development in Klasterec nad Ohri. In the theoretical part is described tourism and the most important knowledge concerning tourism. There are also introduced analytical tools which were used in the practical part of the thesis. This part analyzes conditions and assumptions for tourism allocation and development in the city and also, with the help of conducted survey, evaluates a satisfactory rate of visitors and inhabitants of the city with the fulfillment of these conditions and assumptions. The mentioned analyses are the fundamentals of the SWOT analysis of tourism in Klasterec nad Ohri which is the source for the final strategy draft. The suggested strategy should lead to the development of tourism in the city.

Financial Analysis of the town of Zdice

This work deals with economy of city Zdice from 2007 to 2010. In the theoretical section, there are defined terms, which will be sources for analyzing the financial situation of this city. These terms are mostly close connected with budget, which is subsequently analyzed in detail in the analytical part. The main outcome of this work is final evaluation of the situation in the city. Relevant resources for the work were secondary data obtained from the city Zdice. Materials dealing with the issue and my own acquired knowledge were support in theoretical part.

Analysis of the City Management of Příbram

This bachelor thesis deal with the analysis of economy of the town Pribram during years 2006 to 2010. The aim is to assess economy and identify reasons for the changes of individual budget items, property and sources of coverage. There is evaluated investment activities of the city in the end. Thesis is divided into two parts. It is theoretical and methodical part and following practical part. Theoretical and methodological part is focused on definig the basic topics. Topics are municipality, it's authorities and structure, scope, budget and balance sheet of the city. Practical part is specialised in basic information about the city, analysis of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities. And then rate basic indicators of financial analysis, budget outlook and investments. I the conclusion is an overall assessment of economy of the town. For this analysis were used budgets, financial reports and balance sheets of the years from 2006 to 2010.

Analysis of the offer of sightseeing tours in a selected city in the Czech Republic (Česká Skalice)

The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of tourism and sightseeing tours in the town Česká Skalice. The theoretical part defines basic notions and the town potential in the field of tourism (its characteristics, history and tourist attractions of the town). The practical part gives information about institutions acting in tourism in Česká Skalice and evaluates their projects which are involved in walking tours of the town. It also includes analysis of visitors to the town, the services provided, the promotional materials and the evaluation of main walking routes (especially heritage trail of "Grandmother's valley and "City Walk"). Based on results of analysis the town potential and its utilisation is evaluated with regard to the structure of demand and a focus on suggestions and recommendations for improvement of current situation of walking routes in Česká Skalice.

Impact of Tourism on the Economies of Developing Countries with Focus on India

The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the impact of tourism on the economies of developing countries as a tool for achieving economic growth and development. The first part is devoted to defining the basic concepts related to tourism, developing countries and UNDP. The theoretical part is followed by the analytical part that focuses on case studies of Kenya, India and Nigeria and the role of tourism in achieving the MDGs. The second part focuses on the analysis of tourism in India in terms of its preconditions for further development, the volume of visitor and impacts on the environment and local communities. As tools for the analysis are used statistics of visitors, components of the tourism offer and studies of leading Indian economists, aimed at reducing disparities, promoting peace and growth prospects of the country. The last section assesses the acquired knowledges and highlights ecotourism as the only way for sustainable tourism development in developing countries.

Offer analysis of a particular travel agent

Bachelor thesis -- Offer analysis of a particular travel agent - aims to analyze and evaluate the offer of the travel agent and in case some weaknesses are found to suggest solutions that would strengthen its position on Slovak market in the future. The first chapter solves the terms related to tourism and at the same time it concerns the legislation governing the issue of entrepreneurship in tourism. The second chapter analyzes offer of the travel agent from two points of view. First one is an analysis of services provided by this travel agent and the second one is offer analysis from point of view of product presentation together with the means to support sales. The second chapter also includes comparison of offered destinations from the point of view of number of tour packages, type of transport, accommodation and catering services, number and nature of the optional excursions and so on. The last chapter includes recommendations to target customers, a key destination, pricing and promotion.

Marketing Analysis of Tourism in Town Sobotka

The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of tourism in the town Sobotka. The theoretical part explains the basic terms and definitions such as tourism and its typology, tourism destination, accommodation and catering services. Moreover, it briefly describes the tourism potential of the Czech republic and characterizes the tourism in Hradec Králové region. The analytical part is focused on the town Sobotka itself. Firstly, the history of Sobotka and its famous natives are presented. Then the thesis evaluates the main attractions (historical sights, cultural events, natural attractions) and infrastructure. There is also information concerning organizations dealing with tourism in Sobotka, there. One chapter is also focused on promotion of the town which takes place mainly due to the Bohemian Paradise Association. The results of questionnaire survey are presented as well as SWOT analysis. The recommendations for improvement of tourism in the town Sobotka are suggested.

Analysis of the Labour Market in Středočeský Region

Bachelor thesis analyses the labour market of Středočeský region throught years 2006 - 2011. The goal is to analyse the number of unemployed people and number of vacancies in this region. Then to detect the effect of the economic crisis to those indicators and to the labour market of this region. The theoretical part will be about the labour market and unemployment. The analysis itself will take place in the practical part. At first by the region itself, then by the districts. The result will be a statistical analysis of all districts and their comparison among each other and to the region itself. The conclusion will summarize the findings and evaluate the effect of all districts to the region. Furthermore if the economic crisis effected the labour market in this region and if yes, then how much.

Linguistic analysis of a Baroque Homily

The topic of the diploma thesis is A Linguistic Analysis of a Baroque Sermon. The text, written by Václav Ignác Blovský, dates back to 1724. The diploma thesis continues in my bachelor work. It´s aim was to give the analysis of phonetic and morphological features of the same text. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts - the theory and the research. The first one deals with the author´s life and his work, the cult of St. John of Nepomuk and sermons dedicated to this Czech patron saint in general. The analytical part summaries the results of the previous research and includes the syntactic analysis. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out the level of the Czech language in the early 18th century on the basis of the findings.
