Economic and Energy Analysis of Heat Recovery Unit in the Passive House

The aim of this thesis is a detailed economic evaluation of the installation and operation of passive house heat recovery units respectively in terms of energy savings resulting and the financial advantages of systems. The overall analysis is focused on the comparison of the most frequently used conventional energy management system (simple ventilation windows with the central heating based on a gas or electric boiler) with the heat recovery unit. In this work they are also considered financial resources including the “Kotlíková dotace”

Heating System in Kindergarten

The assigment of Bachelor`s work is the heating of kindergarten`s premises. The building is situated in the Central region in a village Běrunice. The kindergarten has 2 above – ground floors and 1 underground floor. The heating system of the building consists of double heating pipes.The horizontal distribution system is fitted above the floor in battens. The source of heat are two gass furnaces located in a technical room on the first floor. The furnaces serve as a source of the heat for the central heating system, heating of water and heating of ventilated air. The building is ventilated by ventilators.

Heating of a High School

The introduction of theoretical part deals history of floor heating. Here is an overview of the technology, which was for centuries used for floor heating. Further included in the introductory part of the aggregate materials used, which are used for floor heating, and used. In the next part of the theoretical introduction we are given the best known ecological heat source. These are mainly heat pumps and solar collectors. The last part is made in the proposal which are important values calculated for the design and seamless use of central heating system.

Design and optimization of a heat source for resort

This Master’s thesis deals with design of heating source and heating system in the model object. Design is based on three variants of sources and heating systems. The first option is a heating pump air/water, the second option is pellet boiler and the third option is heating pump ground/water. At first heating losses are determined. Then heating systems and related heating sources are designed. The fundamental part of these free options is a design of alternative source for central heat and and hot water and heat storage. The last part is comparison of all variants.

System for Remote Monitoring of Electrical Values

The work deals with the measurement of electrical quantities, distribution of data across the Ethernet network into the Internet and intelligent selection of the required values to be transmitted and stored on a central node. The work describes the communication protocols in scale that is necessary for implementation, discussed the requirements for computational resources and microcontroller control is proposed by flowcharts. Attached are source codes in C programming language for microcontroller and PHP scripts for storing and presenting data on Web server.

Heating of blocks of flets

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the ways of heating a block of flats and statement of costs in accordance with valid legislation. First part of this thesis describes different types of fuel use for heating of blocks of flats. This section is the most comprehensive and it is one of the key parts of this work. It is pointed out in the applicable fuel for residential building and is partially included in the preparation of hot water. It is also prepared an overview of individual heating systems for block of flats for the location of heat sources. The second crucial part of this legislation concerns with problems associated with central heating and making of the hot water for block of flats, where you can see some imperfection of the legislation. It is suggested here, the different distribution of the storey and central heating.

House alarm - hardware

This work deals with the design and realization of a modular security central unit's hardware positioned in familial houses. As an operating component of the central unit is used Module Rabbit 3365 with an integrated Ethernet interface. Based on user's requirements and general requirements for electronic security system, circuit diagrams of the central unit's motherboard and power supply with a function of backup power supply are designed. The work also includes layout of a keyboard and LCD display. Printed circuit boards are designed, produced and assembled. The device is set to work. The last part concerns programming of the module Rabbit 3365 in Dynamic C. Gradually, set of operating functions for individual components of the security central unit are implemented.

Energy use of biomass

The main task of this thesis is the research of different types of biomass, description of each technology subsequent to obtaining thermal energy for central sources of heat and the mapping of use biomass in a cogeneration production of electric energy and heat. The first part of this thesis deals with the creation and definition of biomass, chemical and physical properties, basic distribution and showing examples of individual representatives. The next part of this thesis describes various options of energy usage of biomass subsequent to obtaining energy for central sources of heat. The last part is concentrating to individual power units in Czech Republic, which exploiting biomass for cogeneration production electric power and heat.

2D triangulation of heat radiation sources

The aim of this thesis is the creation of intelligent sensor units (Intelligent Sensor Unit ISU) able to identify the source of heat radiation can be distinguished from background. Single System (slave) will communicate via the I2C bus to the central processing unit (Master), which will serve as the setting ISU (slave), so for their own heat source position calculation and communication with staff. The whole system is based on the ISU uP ATmega128. Sensory part will be able to scan the perimeter of the plane 0 ° to 180 °, and distinguished theoretical temperature gradient object-background 2 ° C. A given application can be used for the monitoring of technology and living objects.

Heating of the Residential Building with Commercial Spaces

This thesis aims to introduce the concept of central and water heating in a residential building with some commercial premises in Brno city. Gas condensing boiler has been designed as a source of heat for the heating system as well as water storage heater. The water storage heater is located in the boiler room in the ground floor. Areas of the heating surfaces are panel radiators and tubular and design elements. Electrical heating cable were used for the rooms with limited space.
