Virtual Prototypes of Drivelines
Janoušek, Michal ; Dundálek, Radim (referee) ; Slimařík,, Dušan (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with computational modelling of heavy duty off-road vehicle driveline components. The thesis is divided to two main parts. The first part deals about modal analysis of selected driveline components. MBS computational study was performed based on modal analysis results. The second part of thesis deals with experimental verification of computational model. Pass-by noise and vibration measurement was performed. Measured signals were processed in frequency domain to find noise and vibration sources.
Transmission of Air Turbines
Formula Student Drivetrain
Odehnal, Jakub ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes design of Formula Student Drivetrain, car evolution Dragon 4 and Dragon 5. There is shown an overview of the drivetrain parts used in category Formula Student. On that basis is made the new concept of drivetrain for the each car. Major focus is placed on the design of the differential mounting and chain tensioning mechanism. For the selected components was made stress analysis by FEM.
Study of torque vectoring differential use for heavy commercial vehicles
Fojtášek, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the design of right-and-left torque vectoring systems used in heavy commercial vehicle powertrains. It is a new device for a commonly used vehicle differential. This study recommends design, kinematic and load parameters. Also the overall effect of the mechanism on vehicle dynamics and design of the experimental vehicle chassis is described. The study further describes how the mechatronic system works with necessary control systems. Purpose of this thesis is to summarize available information on a right-and-left torque vectoring and possible practical applications for further development of torque vectoring systems.
Drivetrain of Formula Dragon 3
Matajsz, Petr ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the structural design of the drivetrain for the formula Dragon 3. There is shown an overview of the most common design solutions used in the category Formula Student. On that basis is made my own concept of the drivetrain. Major focus is placed on the design of the final drive, differential mounting including chain tensioning mechanism and design of related components. For the designed components was made stress analysis by FEM.
Powertrain of five -cylinder gasoline radial engine
Vítek, David ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with a design of a powertrain of fice-cylinder gasoline radial engine with assigned main parameters (bore, stroke, etc.). The work is divided into several parts: kinematics of the radial engine, creation of 3D models, force acting on the connecting rods, balancing of the engine. The last part is focused on creating MKP models, stress analysis and determining of fatigue safety of the selected parts.
Bending Vibrations of 8x8 Heavy Duty Truck
Knotek, Jiří ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is an analysis of bending vibrations of the heavy duty truck transmission and a design of construction modifications. The next target is to evaluate the contribution of the construction modification. In the thesis is also performed analysis of shaft support stiffness.
Drivetrain of a 8x8 truck
Hebnar, Tomáš ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on building a replacement torsion system of drivetrain of 8x8 and 8x4 trucks and subsequent computational analyses of built systems. There were made two analyses. The first one is a computational analysis of the shapes of vibration and The second one is a sensitivity analysis. The sensitivity analysis is studying effect on the size of the natural frequencies under the effect of gear ratio.
Shape Optimalisation of Aircraft Engine Crankshaft
Vopařil, Jan ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the variety and the width of issues connected with crankshafts of combustion engines. It distinguishes different factors, which influence the shape and size of these crankshafts and the selected findings are then transferred into the design of crankshaft for the particular engine. The thesis also presents coherent description of application of topology optimization to the particular crankshaft and also different, more complex design procedures leading to the optimal shape of crankshaft are afterwards suggested. Quality of such a design is then verified by comparative analysis of fatigue of the crankshaft.
Mathematical Model of motor vehicle driving gear
Marek, Petr ; Laurinec, Marián (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my master’s thesis is creating a mathematical model of motor vehicle driving gear using the software programs MATLAB / Simulink. The results are presented via graphs of the data gained from the simulation of a car driving on a determined track. The parameters used in the model come from a specific file and they can be changed anytime in order to correspond with the particular vehicle.
