Stereometrie. E-learning text for pre-service teachers, teachers of secondary schools and their pupils

Stereometry or geometry in space is an important area of geometry, which deals with the study of spatial(stereometric) relations. Basic definitions and theorems concerning properties of axial affinity in an Euklidean space and in a plane are presented in this thesis, as well as basic stereometric theorems and their consequences. Everything is supplemented by illustrations. The thesis attends in more detail to axial affinity between two planes, in a plane and between a circle and an ellipse. A great deal of this thesis is formed by exercises concerning sections of bodies by plane, which are solved by axial affinity, which is unknown to today's students of high schools. Every important chapter contains samples and a pack of exercises for practicing with possibility to display the solution and the procedure step by step. These exercises are also supplemented with applets, which make it possible to look at the solution from different visual angles and they can help students better imagine a stereometric situation of the given exercise. This study material can be used not only by students to extend their knowledge of stereometry, but also to inspire their teachers as well. For them there are prepared exercises, which are not in today's schoolbooks about stereometry, and work sheets, which can be used for teaching.

Special preliminary ruling under s. 76b of the Civil Procedure Code - a comparison of Czech and German regulation

Zákonem na ochranu před domácím násilím, který vytvořil rámec pro komplexní pomoc osobě ohrožené domácím násilím, učinila Česká republika velký krok vpřed a začlenila se tak mezi ostatní země západní Evropy, které k problému domácího násilí zaujímají jasný, odmítavý postoj. Hlavní změnou, který tento zákon přinesl, je možnost vykázat násilnou osobu ze společného obydlí. Při srovnání úpravy předběžného opatření podle § 76b o.s.ř. a podle Gewaltschutzgesetz vyšly najevo jednotlivé shody i rozdíly. Vzhledem k delšímu užívání tohoto institutu v SRN lze z německé úpravy vyvodit možnou budoucí úpravu tohoto předběžného opatření v České republice. Gewaltschutzgesetz stejně jako český zákon na ochranu před domácím násilím má za cíl co nejrychlejší a nejefektivnější pomoc osobě ohrožené násilnou činností. Gewaltschutzgesetz má však oproti zákonu na ochranu před domácím násilím nepoměrně širší užití. Poskytuje ochranu nejen v situaci domácího násilí, ale i v situaci stalkingu. V českém právu stalking dosud upraven nebyl. Skutková podstata pronásledování je však už zahrnuta do nového TZ. Instituty občanského práva se k ochraně pronásledované osoby v praxi nevyužívají, přestože možnost využití ustanovení § 76b o.s.ř. v situaci pronásledování se již v literatuře objevila.100 Ve vývoj právní úpravy stalkingu lze však...

Difficulties concerning adaption resulting from entry and release from prison and postpenitentiany care

Diploma thesis "Difficulties concerning adaptation resulting from entry and release from prison and postpenitentiary care" in the first part deals with adaptation difficulties, which meet incoming men during entry into a prison. At the same time my work deals with description of the prison system in Czech Republic, architecture of detention facilities and hygienic conditions in these facilities. The integral part is description of the "second life" of condemned and concomitant circumstances connected with execution of punishment. The next part deals with the description of the pre-release process. In the second part I put my focus on adaptation difficulties concerning release from prison. I describe the first steps after release and difficulties which meet prisoners after release. Next is the description of the postpenitentiary situation in Czech Republic, with reflexion on present situation. These facts are supported by the description of my mentor activity in therms of program "Šance." Part of thesis is also a questionnaire inquiry.

The theatre of Ramón María del Valle-Inclán

This work, The theatre of Ramón del Valle-Inclán, studies the dramatic literature of an author who creates mostly in the first quarter of the twentieth century, i.e. in the period of the first reform of the theatre. During the first chapters we analyse our concept of drama as a literary piece, see it's characteristics and it's evolution in the modern creation. We end up saying that a modern dramatist leaves behind the clasicist model of his art, where the author's opinions and points of view step aside before those of his lively characters. Nevertheless he conserves and maybe even emphasizes the plurality of perspectives that the dramatic genre offers to him. And so even in Valle-Inclán where the plurality inside his dramas unites to the plurality of different dramatic genres in the totality of his dramatic art. The recreation of the traditional genres from farce to tragedy serves well to express the artistic points of view about the contemporary Spanish situation.

Immigration and integration of foreigners in the UK

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the approach of the United Kingdom to immigration and integration of third country nationals. The analysis is joined by comparison with the situation and measures taken within the European Union. The paper depicts the development and changes of the EU integration policy and the current system of immigration policies in the United Kingdom. Attention is also drawn to the public opinion and perception of immigrants in the host societies. Since the 90s, the integration policies of the EU Member States seem to be converging to the "civic integration" model. Emphasis is placed on the individual integration of immigrants, but their group affiliation is also accepted. Integration has to be a two-way process, with efforts made by the immigrants as well as the host society. Despite that, it has rather become a precondition which has to be fulfilled by the immigrants in order to gain more rights. The United Kingdom is also starting to condition the admission and citizenship acquisition by fulfilling language and knowledge criteria, regarding the history, institutions and life in the country. Even though its integration policy is one of the most successful, the current steps raise doubts.

Basics methods of financial analysis are horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and income statement and system of proportion ratings.

This work described in the form of keys study the process of establishing management supervision in the Hospice of St. Stephen in Litoměřice. It deals with working motivation, the possibilities of influencing this motivation and the importance of regular evaluation of nurses' work. It pursues the contribution of team supervision for the nursing teams too. In the practical part, it compares initial situation on workplace before establishing the team and management supervision to present situation, it describes successive steps of the change and it critically evaluates its contributions and insufficiencies. Daňové systémy, daňová politika České republiky z pohledu zaměstnance

Práce se zabývá daňovými systémy se zaměřením na daň z příjmů fyzických osob. V teoretické části vysvětluje základní pojmy z oblasti daní, uvádí požadavky na daňový systém a daně podle stupně progrese. V aplikační části blíže popisuje progresivní a rovnou daň a porovnává zdanění práce v některých zemích. Dále analyzuje současnou situaci v oblasti osobní důchodové daně v Česku a nastiňuje její budoucí vývoj. V závěru hodnotí rovnou daň.
