Pedestrian bridge across the river Svratka
Hlava, Martin ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is about a concept of pedestrian bridge across the river Svratka. The work includes a statical calculation of the pedestrian bridge construction of one ground, which has been chosen from three other options. This chosen alternative is formed by a prestressed concrete´s plank with parapet´s supports of a variable cut earned by outer switchable cables. The calculation of the stress influence has been made by Scia Engineer Software. The construction recognition has been accomplished manually. A process of construction´s works are not going to be treated in this work.

Small one-cylinder internal combustion engines
Smolka, Josef ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The content of this thesis is getting to know the reader with the technical solutions in the field of small single cylinder engines and a brief overview of alternative fuels for petrol engines. The main objective is to offer a comprehensive overview of available engines and their parameters.

Alternative fuels for diesel engines
Baránek, Adam ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Internal combustion engines have become part of everyday life. Because oil reserves are diminishing and there is evidence of environment harmfulness of oil combustion, there is an increasing use of alternative fuels. This thesis will outline of the most commonly used alternative fuels in diesel engines with a list of advantages and disadvantages, possibilities of current use and their potential development.

Nursing Care for Patients with Tracheostomy
Ebertová, Barbora ; Hošťálková, Monika (advisor) ; Maňasová, Taťána (referee)
The thesis is focused on nursing care of patients with tracheostomy. The work consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical. This section is devoted to anatomy and physiology of the respiratory tract, additional chapters devoted itself already the main topic and that is tracheostomy. The implementation presented here tracheostomy history, engineering design, types of procedures, types of cannulas tracheostomických, indications for the performance and possible complications. Another big part of the total nursing is where nursing care is devoted to a patient with tracheostomy and care of respiratory toilet, replacing the tracheostomy cannula and decanting. Then there is included a chapter on communication with the patient and possible alternative ways of communication and nursing diagnosis. The empirical part focuses on qualitative research, the method of data collection are two case reports of nursing. The survey was conducted at the clinic anesthesia, resuscitation and intensive care in two patients with tracheostomy. The aim of the research was to find out how the nursing care of patients with tracheostomy, method of communication with tracheostomy patients and to determine their nursing problems. Key words Tracheostomy, airway, tracheostomy tube, airway toilet, communication, nursing care

Strength Analysis of Alternator Body
Kratochvíl, Petr ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
In this diploma thesis is theoretically described and then practically performed stress analysis of alternator body, which in terms of traffic racing car often passes into disrepair. It is used reverse engineering method. The real part is converted to digital model and analysed using FEM calculation. Incoming data for FEM are obtained by experimental measurement on the car.

Strategic plan of optimalization information needs in company Weiler s.r.o.
Dvořáková, Michala ; Očko, Petr (advisor) ; Lipková, Helena (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with issue of optimization of information needs in engineering company Weiler s.r.o. This work consists of otheoretical background, on which is established practical part, which contains strategic analysis of companies environment and information needs. There is processed strategic plan of optimization in three alternatives on these foundations - pessimistic with no change in the company, realistic, which counts with use of one information worker and optimistic, which counts with establishing an information department in the company. The final plan is elaboration of realistic alternative including financial plan, which contains the electivity calculation.

Biomass for power plants in the off-grid operation
Roule, Jaroslav ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis discusses the use of biomass for electricity island operation. The first chapter explains the concept of biomass and its distribution. It also shows the potential and availability of biomass. The second chapter describes the transformation of biomass into a suitable fuel form. The third to fifth chapter describes the conversion of biomass as a fuel into electrical energy through combustion, Stirling and steam engine. In these chapters there are brought the following parameters and prices of these motors and single-phase and three-phase alternators that can be connected to these engines. Other chapters describe the production of electricity in line with consumption, where the cost per hour to run engines for the various types of fuel and price of the electricity produced in kilowatt hours is calculated. In the last chapter of the thesis there is described the possibility of accumulation of electrical energy.

Effect of Genotoxic 2-Nitrofluorene and Its Metabolites on DNA In Vivo and Possibilities of Investigation of this Effect Using Electrochemical DNA Biosensors In Vitro
Stávková, Klára ; Vyskočil, Vlastimil (advisor) ; Fišer, Radovan (referee)
Presented Bachelor Thesis is targeted on the topic of hazardous 2-nitrofluorene (NF), which is known as one of the markers of the presence of nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. This Thesis summarizes the current knowledge about the formation of this xenobiotic, its occurrence and transport in living and working environment, and about its negative effects on living organisms, especially on their DNA. These findings obtained upon the in vivo investigations are compared in this Thesis with information obtained using electrochemical DNA biosensors, which represent very promising in vitro alternative to the study of processes proceeding in living organisms upon the interaction of their DNA with the xenobiotic. NF is mainly released to the atmosphere through the exhaust gases of diesel and gasoline engines. It is adsorbed onto solid particulate matters, through which it is spread over long distances and can enter the air passages of animals. Through an atmospheric fall-out, NF contaminates waters and soils, where it is transported together with other nutrients and food to plants and animals; by consummation of such organisms, it can finally enter the body of higher animals and the human. It has been shown that NF is a chemically stable substance. On the other hand, it is metabolized intensively...

Languages Courses Based on Computer and Internet
Čermák, Jaromír ; Pokorný, Pavel (advisor) ; Bělohlávková, Marta (referee)
This thesis concerns by alternatives usage pc and internet in education of languages. The aim of thesis is summary of alternatives, which computer engineering offers during foreignlanguage education today. This bachelor thesis is classified into two main parts. In the first part the theoretical introduction is defined to electronical education and his infiltration to education of foreign languages. The second part is aimed for education of foreign languages in the component areas electronical education. These areas are analyzed to details in component sections. In fine of these sections is covered up summary of influence multimedial elements for particular area of education.
